My FireFox 8 has a tendancy to get "hung up" when I attempt to load a new webpage. Why would this be?

The page is just blank and says it is waiting for information from the website in question, but nothing happens if I wait. Generally I can get it "unstuck" by refreshing… (read more)

when pressing a link in gooogle search does not go to correct site

i type in to the google search box "facebook" and press enter. takes a long time, then comes up with site "http://en-gb.facebook.com/" only is not facebook, but some sort… (read more)

Error downloading add-ons.

I'm using Firefox 8.0 beta. Everytime I try to install an add-on, I get a download error. I have followed the troubleshooting steps, to no avail. There is no further err… (read more)

Everytime I try to install an add-on, I get a download error. I have followed the troubleshooting steps, to no avail.

There is no further error info other than 'error downloading file'.


Has anyone else experienced this?
