After the major Firefox upgrade (ver. 59?) my bookmarks have caused great problems. Once I open Bookmarks, Firefox becomes slower. But worse is if I click on a Bookmark, then try to close that site, I get an error message at the top of the screen saying Firefox is not responding. Eventually Firefox responds and closes that page. But just having my bookmarks open, all pages are susceptible to this error message when closing. It takes upward of 30 seconds or more sometimes to close each page. I even added memory thinking that could be the problem. I now have 8102 MB of usable memory on a Windows 7 Home (X64) 2.30 GHz Intel core with 64 kb primary memory cache, 256 kb secondary mem cache and 3072 kb tertiary mem cache; multi core, hyper threaded. All I do is shop and read, no gaming. I've consulted some techies and they can't figure it out.

I have, on average, about 10-15 tabs open and pinned in Firefox, at any given time at the office. There are times when I want to prevent people from looking at a tab or several tabs. Is it possible to use a password on a tab(s) to prevent people from seeing what I was looking at?

After the last Windows 10 64bit update (Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803) my Firefox installation 61.0.2 (64-bit) keep crashing every minutes, even I don't use it. I saw that in the past other users have been experiencing an issue like this and the solution was update the Smart Card driver version. I don't see the relation between the update and the need of upgrading the driver version of the Smart Card reader. Anyhow due to the urgency of my issue I'm working even on that. I'm developing some applications on cloud, so browser is a crucial tool for me, that's why it is urgent for me fix this problem. Firefox is my favorite browser since was called Netscape Navigator...

I hope that the Smart Card driver update will fix my problem.

I don't know who's responsible for that, I think that during this days with all the technology that we have available a system update should not generate this kind of trouble. Anyhow I think that it's worth the Firefox community and development team knows about this issue.

I have Firefox Quantum 64 bit for Mac Hig Sierra and every time I try to load Facebook, parts or entire pages do not load at all. This has started since the last Firefox updates. What can be done to fix this? I would be very grateful for a rapid solution, thank you!

Playing videos on websites or in news articles causing the entire system to freeze within seconds of starting. The only way to unfreeze is to reboot. This is very annoying!

Ever since the last update, 61.0.2, Firefox crashes multiple times an hour, with far fewer tabs than used to run reliably. It doesn't show the error reporter, so there's no crash log, but I can give one that did show...I turned off the...multithreading? The thing that causes multiple processes in task manager, because with that enabled, it would bring my system to a screeching halt because it would use over 9 gig of memory on one process alone, not to mention the other 5 or 6. So recently Firefiox updated or something (I am not very computer literate) and now I have lost the ability to log into certain websites. I think the extensions or add-ons were not restored at all. Not a huge deal for most sites but for the Australian tax office AUSKEY software its a big issue.

There is a folder on the desk top which was created during the update - so I guess my question is how do I reload/import the files from this new folder back onto Firefox to get my site certificates etc back.

This problem has just happened recently when Microsoft put in a new version of Outlook. At first I thought it was an outlook problem, but when I open my mail box in Edge, I don't get this message. I reloaded Firefox with the latest version and it has not resolved the problem.

Since updating to 61.0.2, Firefox tells me every time I switch to Panorama View or to a new tab that tabs are hidden by Panorama View. Since I am aware of that (it's _why_ I'm using the extension), how can I make it stop? I don't need it repeated! It offers me the options of disabling the extension or keeping tabs hidden, and that's all. GRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, all extensions were installed. Second, I ran the sync. However, some extensions wont appear/load after signing in to firefox on a different device/ same device

The following extensions do not sync :

1. Advanced profanity filter: I have added a huge list of words to be censored in the extension's preferences and then I performed the sync. However, when I sign in later, either on the same mac or a different mac, this extension wont load with all the words that were initially added. Its such a pain to add all of them again after a fresh sign in (on same device/different device). Unable to let my children use the internet in a safe manner.

2.Hoxx VPN: This too wont load after signing in to firefox on a different device or the same device

3. Web RTC leak shield: This extension wont load as well

When I use google chrome I do not face the above issues. I would love to use firefox if you could fix it. Thank you & good day!

I updated to new fire fox. A pop up page wanted me to sink favorites with an account for all devices. thought it was for something else I closed the page and fire fox updated. Can't recover old book marks. are they gone for good or can I get them back ? also very slow

My selected Home Page is not persistent from session-to-session. The first time I opened Firefox 61.0.2 (64) after upgrading to it, the Home Page was "https://search.eshield.com/v/10?guid={EBE9416F-902E-4064-8DD9-5DB631B59262}&noredirect=1". I changed it to lucianne.com, Firefox accepted it, and it remained persistent until I exited Firefox. The next time I started the program, the "eshield" page was there, and was set as the Home Page. I again changed it to my choice, which again lasted only as long as I did not exit Firefox. I've tried every option setting I can find, but the problem still exists.

my firefox home screen has changed on my firefox homepage. I clicked on a security add on and now I no longer have my same home page. I tried to get a Mozilla home page and my computer typed unknown characters- like for another language. I have a MAC using 10.13.6.

I need to "delete" not add or change my account. it keeps getting changed to an old one I cant get in to or use but it keeps asking for a password that I don't know. I did not sign up with this email and haven't used it in years thanks to google
