When attempting to use auto fill for my name, address, etc. the option to auto fill comes up. If I use auto fill then it will blank out or white out the sections it was going to enter information so that they are no longer visible or click able. When this happens I need to use Control+Z to undo the auto fill, and type by hand. Is there a way to fix this issue/ is it a known issue?

I have an HP pavilion running windows 10, and have all of the software up to date, I have checked settings on Firefox and disabled any add blockers or anti virus software to see if those were the cause. No changes made have had an affect on the issue.

I liked the downloads and everything Firefox WAS. NOW it is a carbon copy of GOOGLE. Any of you remeber carbon paper? you could not hack it fraud it or delete it. Now all we have is some idiot sitting at adesk making us do what THEY WNAT

it is no different than Communist China wearing all the same clothes under mao tze tung

So if firefox is now going to be a carbon copy of google i guess we all should CUT OFF firefox and use google and let firefox DIE.

Or can you make it a bit more individual??? your settings are absolutely poor too for people who design you need to go back to school

Hello, I want to bring to the attention something that seemed overlooked. On macOS, when you pin a tab, there is no option to close that tab, I have to unpin it and then I can close it. This is really absurd. Could you please add an option to close the specific pinned tab? Every other browser has it.

Thank you

Lately I often get message that I am unable to reach Mozilla's servers. I live in Russia and my IP is Russian too. I had to reinstall Firefox recently and my sync was incomplete (no logins, no history, no bookmarks) even though I had that checked in before. Could it be external problem because of recent Telegram blockings in Russia? Or is it only me?

Working in a document when I click on a link, Firefox opens behind what I'm working with. Why not on top of the screen pages? Helping a neighbor set up his will, etc. I created a document with LibreOffice with helpful sites including links to each. When I click on a link, Firefox is behind my document. Why won't it open on top? Be very explicit when answering. We're old farts still playing catch-up with computers. Thanks.

My options are set to open 2 pages as tabs upon launch. The first tab starts off with "New Tab" as its label then after a couple of seconds changes to "Google" as the tab label. This is the correct first homepage. It's a little issue but somewhat annoying not to have the correct label show immediately. This does not occur in Internet Explorer. Why an interim label before the correct one shows? Does anyone else notice this?

I've noticed lately when I close out a session with more than two tabs active, that I no longer get the prompt asking me if I'm sure I want to do that. This is incredibly helpful if for whatever reason you accidentally hit the "x" in the upper right-hand corner. Is this no longer and option, or has the default simply been changed for the prompt?

When I open the bookmarks sidebar, the search entry box shows an icon to clear the input. Yet, as soon as I type something in the appropriate input box, this icon dissappears from view and I have to resort to manually using the backspace key to make edits. Not the biggest of deals, I do realize that, but still irritating, as I have loads of bookmarks, hence I use the search facility very often.

Personally I find the 'logic' to be reversed here (but I also sleep during the day and work during the night, so it might just be me...). It just doesn't make much sense: when there's nothing to clear the icon in question is visible, when there is something to clear it's not.

I've tried reversing this behavior via the userChrome.css file without succes:

   .textbox-input .textbox-search-clear {
       visiblity: collapsed !important;
   }
   .textbox-input[selected="true"] .textbox-search-clear {
       visiblity: visible !important;
   }

doesn't change anything, so I guess these are the wrong selectors in this context.

Is there a way to achieve what I'm looking for via this CSS file or do I need to look elsewhere?

New community member.. Hello excellent developers.

A close tab button, similar to the old TabMixPlus closeTab button is what I'd wish for as a feature.

Closing larger groups of tabs becomes a task in itself, and distracts because of the attention needed for mouse hunting all those little X's that move around. Clickfest wants a single close tab button to hammer on to speed things up with no attention required.. CTRL-w is ok for keyboard guys, but most browsing functions are mouse based for desktop users.

FF is still my fave respected browser.

Oh.. the other thing.. "Open new tab at home page".. I'll join the camp that reminisces that.

Ciao!
