This tab will just open at different times, maybe when I open a new tab but not necessarily every time. Sometimes just out of the blue. I have never clicked on it so do not know what or where it might take me but not sure why my Norton allows it. Guess I should notify them also.

Intermittantly and increasingly Firefox cannot access my att.net e-mail. Initial site comes up just fine but it increasingly says 'cant find the server. I am not typing addresses in so that is NOT the problem. And it comes up fine on Edge or other browsers. This is a Firefox problem.

In general, web push notifications give the option to allow or block them, but this is not the case for a website that I visit. I tried allowing them and then editing them in Options>content>Notifications but apparently I can only see or delete rules there.

Given that the website (pretty maliciously) denies the ability to block those notifications, what can I do? Is the web push notification permission list stored somewhere so I can edit it and add this website to Blocks?

It makes me do a click to get rid of it. How can I disable that?

Besides the extra click, the tiny area that you're given to edit is not useful.

I keep my bookmarks open in another window, using this shortcut:

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -chrome chrome://browser/content/places/places.xul

If I want to edit, I go there, which is better, because the line is longer, which makes it easy to edit.

I'm running FF 47.0 on a Win 7 Pro PC and have been using the RT add-on for a long time without problems (could open 20+ tabs without major slowing), but recently merely opening 5-6 tabs consumes >1.5K million whatevers in the Task Mgr Memory (private working set) column causing major slowing. Saving tabs in Panorama & restarting FF fixes the issue until I open the next 5-6 tabs. I believe this also happens when I open pages on RT's website as well. Anybody know what's happening & how to stop it?

When i click on a favorite on the favorites toolbar it opens a sidebar page to the left of the page I'm on. I thought it would open in a new tab. I don't see a purpose in a half-page web page on a left sidebar.

I've found I can open the favorite bar tab and go to the website with a right click and click on open new tab, but this seems a clumsy way of getting to another website.

My settings are such that automatic updates are downloaded and show I'm using the most current version. Yet I'm kicked out of my email page and given a web page with the Mozilla Firefox logo and a box prompting me to update. The sites the prompts are coming from have very odd address and don't seem in anyway affiliated with Firefox, i.e. zeeinewsreview.org. I've been having this issue on my work PC only for the past couple weeks. I run McAfee anti-virus on Windows 10 & have not downloaded any of the so called "updates"
