Please urgently block the webRTC

Explanation:

Latelly, in Firefox has been discovered a serious bug regarding webRTC with would allow a third party to violate the user's privacy and security

Recently, my desktop, (uses win 7 home prem) got corrupted. I got that straightened out only to find that when i tried to use Firefox, all I got was a big white screen. Tool bars became unreachable, the only way to get out was the old "control+alt+delete". I do know that it was ver. 40.3. I could not resolve problem any other way so thought, "delete and re-install !!!". NOT so.

I HATE i-net explorer, but desperation had set in.....no luck....would not even d'load mozilla from the firefox site. BUT!! there is Google Chrome!!! nope....could not get that to work at all. (It WAS an old copy).

Now I am trying to use my lap-top (just upgraded itself to win 10) to d'load a usable copy for the desktop (win 7), but cannot seem to find a "VER 40.3 for that win version. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whenever I try to log into any blogspot site, instead of the normal options to continue on, I get a completely white, blank, page. When I go to these site on any other browser, it will work perfectly.

Does anyone have any ideas?

My Pocket icon does not work. It has worked in the past, but I haven't used it for a while. Now when I click on it to save a page, I just get a list of things I've saved previously. Instead of getting "Save to Pocket" as other posts have said I should, it acts like "View Pocket List", which I understand is supposed to be under the bookmark icon (and no Pocket items are listed there).

The tooltip for the Pocket item says "Read Something" (whether I hover over the item itself or the arrow to the right), and no matter where I click, I just get a reading list.

I just discovered that the Pocket extension has been replaced by an integrated feature in Firefox. I opened the extension list and disabled Pocket. It is no longer in the list, nor do I see it in "Additional Tools and Features" under "Customize". The icon is still there in the toolbar, though, just as it was when the extension was enabled, and it still behaves the same way, just giving me "Read Something" and not letting me save.

Can someone help me so I can use my Pocket icon again?

When I'm catching up on fb and scroll down the page, I reach a place (usually about 30mins worth of posts in - though sometimes more and sometimes less) where it looks like it's trying to load the next post and the little icon spins and spins but it never loads. I have cleared history.

I have restarted firefox in safe mode. I have refreshed firefox. None of those helped.

I get the same problem whether I'm at home using wifi or at work using a secure university network so I do not think it's my computer or network.

I have win10 at home - I do not get the problem using Edge (but who wants to do that??).

I have win7 at work and do not get the problem if I use Chrome (but, again, who wants to do that?)

Given that I encounter the problem on different computers (home = laptop, home wifi, win10 vs. work = desktop, secure university network, Win7) and do not get it using other browsers on either of those machines, it seems like it must be a firefox problem or some interaction between firefox and facebook - yes??

I receive referenced web addresses saying " paste this address into the address line of your browser", But I have never done this and would like a step-by-step procedure.

Do I get a reply to my registered e-mail account??

WE always use eff.org's https.everywhere in order to keep our computer extra safe. The newest Firefox update will NOT allow me to use it anymore. With all the nasty stuff that's out there dead set on ruining computers, why on earth did they do this? Do I need to be wary of my previously beloved Firefox as well?

I have firefox set to re-show my tabs from last time when I restart it. However, when I close and restart, the first tab is always empty. If I choose 'view source', the file is empty. Refreshing or shift-refreshing the tab does not cause it to load. I can copy the url and paste it into a new tab and that will load fine.

This wouldn't be too annoying, except it also happens with about:sessionrestore, and when I open it in a new tab, it doesn't show any tabs to restore.

my printer is an hpdeskjet 920c and I changed the tri-color cartridge and now the printer will not print. The power button is on and the cartridge button is flashing. I presume the cartridge cannot be read by the computer?? Any suggestions.....Thanks.

Firefox crashes after I log on to sites (e.g., e-Bay etc.) I just uninstalled AVG Free and Installed WebRoot SecureAnywhere. I've also ran Ccleaner. No luck fixing?

This is new and no changes have been made to my computer. I have used CompuServe and FireFox for about a decade with no complants. I have been viewing ViralNova for a couple of years with no problems until this last couple of weeks. What can I do to fix this? Your site said my version was up to date.

I keep having crashes in Firefox. It says my Adobe Flash plugin has crashed every time I try to so anything like play a game. I've deleted Firefox and Flash player many times but nothing worked. It started about 2 weeks ago and I can't fix it. I run Windows 10 and the computer is only about 7 months old. I am at a loss, please help!
