it takes nearly 1 second to switch the tab and sometimes the switching behavior is un predictable...takes 6-7 seconds to switch.

I am running it on Windows 7 with Nvidia 6150 graphics card Laptop.

Firefox 4.0 b 5 - was doing an update but gave this error message: The operation cannot be completed because of an internal failure. A secure network communication has not been cleared up correctly. - only option = OK

Many times when visited a webpage firefox "drags" with it blank white squares from either previous ads on a page or spaces. Have a screenshot but nowhere to send it to you :-( Where could I do that?

The firefox menu is raised a good few pixels above the tabs. it looks very unatural and completely different from the beta's previous to 4.0 beta 5. I have tried everything I can think of to get it back to it's level in beta 4. I've disabled all addons and plugins, I've tried reinstalling it numerous times while deleting all information from it. Can anyone help me?

see above. When I rebooted Firefox my App Tabs . My app tabs have disappeared with the latest update. 4.0Beta5. The option to make a tab an app tab and my previous app tabs have disappeared.

using the latest Firefox Beta, after opening Shambhala.org site, the flash window shows up as a blank rectangle on subsequent sites. I am using Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard. The only way I can get rid of the blank rectangle is to restart Firefox.

hello..i use firefox 4 beta 05..my question is..why when i open let's say 6 tabs..my windows show that i have 6 instancies of firefox instead of one like it does with firefox 3.6? thanks

maybe i am saying it wrong..when i press alt+tab there is only one firefox open..but in windows 7 in the taskbar..every tab open..appears as another window open

I've already imported most of my bookmarks, but it's been a while since then, and I'd like to add those I've acquired since. However, I'm worried it will simply double the ones I already have, as well as adding the newer ones. Will FF know not to add more of the same ones, or will they all just be piled on?

Since updated to b5 I keep getting security errors. One concerning ssl security is disabled. The other: The operation can not be completed because of an internal failure. A secure network communication has not been cleaned up correctly.

Today I only received the latter before FF opened. Yesterday shutting down and opening kept taking me to the previous version and the ssl security issues.

NTT is obviously disabled, and any attempts at finding a new version that *can at all be installed* are thwarted, despite popup buttons on the Mozilla addon pages for installing anyway.

The addon dialogue, that has obviously been moved to take up a tab and make all operations more convoluted (no more simple one-click...), only shows that NTT 2.0.3 has been disabled.

No "Enable" button available. No "Options".

No button to check for updates either, until you click a tiny link that says "More". Clicking this "Update" button makes *nothing* happen, not even any indication of something gone wrong, or things working but no update available.

Can anyone please explain how do you remove irrelevant entries in the Profile Manager dialog? Since I have both 4.0 and 3.6 installed,each with two profiles,I use to launch secondary profiles with the Profile Manager via a command line instead of a specific shortcut,and the dialog window always shows all four options,regardless of what path I enter : is it possible to clean up the dialog window,so that only the 4.0 profiles are displayed when entering the path to 4.0 profiles,and so on for 3.6,without actually risking to delete any profiles? BTW,4.0 profile folders are stored in a different directory than 3.6,and the 3.6 profiles were accessed with the Profile Manager window (no shortcuts to specific profiles at the time) before installing 4.0

Before, when navigating to a site from the address bar I did not have to type in ".com" after the URL, but since a few weeks ago it now just brings me to a Google search. I was wondering if this was a decision on the developers end or I changed some settings on my end and didn't know it. Thanks

When I click the 'return to home page' button, only 'http://' shows in the address bar (the rest was accidentally deleted) and an 'Invalid address' alert shows. I've tried entering the address that shows when the mouse hovers over the button and then it works of course. When I use the button again, I get the same alert and a new 'http://' tab appears.

Most texts on this page disappear. The same website works fine on 32bit build.

I cannot open any attachments in hotmail when using firefox, but had no problems with the attachments when using safari. I much prefer using firefox and don't want to have to change. Can anyone help please?

I have to open the airtel partnerworld site and there are some official work which is very necessary. Whenever I have tried in last 4/5 days days, I was failed to do so. We have to produce our bills and datas in this site. So, if firefox can't help us with this we will have to quit firefox.
