A few days ago I could not get my Yahoo! icons up nor Yahoo's Search box--at least that's working now; but the menu bar is behaving strangely.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thank you for your consideration. marlem388
What other info can i give? One day, I turned on my computer and could no longer open any additional tabs, unless I click a link.
Do not let people be disappointed...

When trying to download Firefox 4 on March 25th 2011, I was advised my MultiBookmarks Toolbar 5.0 would be disabled. This Firefox approved add-on has been EXTREMELY helpful to me. I'm hoping Firefox 4 will be able to support MultiBookmarks Toolbar 5.0 in the near future.
I suppose I'll have to take down manually all my toolbar bookmarks info.
And then re-enter that info in a less visible way onto FF 4, if MultirowBookmarksToolbars 5.0 is not supported. Bummer.

After upgrading to Firefox 4, when I started it from a URL shortcut on the desktop an error message appears stating the URL can't be found but Firefox still starts and displays the URL requested but the error message remains until its OK button has been clicked. It has become so irritating that I have downgraded to Firefox 3.

This seems like the obvious information to have in the introduction to any 'upgrade' document. What will I gain' seems hyped, 'what will I lose' seems ignored. I spent a year or so, gradually getting Firefox 3 amended, setup, & configured as rqd for my needs, into a comfortable tool. Will I have to suddenly stop my actual work, to re-learn how to get all the (18) plug-ins, and passwords, and add-ins, etc. re-installed and working again? or can I hope that the new install brings those forward? I have been unable to find any mention of what happens to the setup of the old version. Must I look forward to a month or two of re-solving last year's problems for the new version?

When browser is opened to home page and any link (or bookmark) is selected, the back arrow stays grayed out and the currently selected page becomes the "anchor" page that can be returned to. Same behavior on all three computers.
After downgrading from FF4 my Bookmarks were lost. I tried to restore them with a backup but it fails.
Since the last upgrade, I can not open a new tab. Only a new window. None of the tab options work.
I down loaded and had problem opening it. It said firefox4 could work with this OS.

I downloaded and installed Release 4.0 to my Laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2. Firefox 4 started and went into an unresponsive state with high cpu. Had to end Firefox 4 from the task manager. Read in the forum a point about McAfee Site Adviser causing a similar problem so I deinstalled that product but still had the problem. I was able to start Firefox in Safe mode so I suspected an Add-on. Downloaded and installed Firefox 3.6.16 and am having the same problem.
1) How do I display the installed Add-ons? In safe mode it states they are disabled, but does not list them. 2) How can I isolate the problem? Thanks in advance.
