when i wish to close a number of open tabs and I confirm from the drop down box that I wish to do so simultaneously nothing happens. I have to close each tab individually

Help Please!

I thought I fixed the problem I went to a new profile but took over Prefs.js and the fast dial folder so my fast dial stuff will still be intact. I installed Youtube HD which makes videos automatically hd so I dont have to select it and thats the only plugin i was running but I uninstalled it and it still crashes. Now my flash player hardware acceleration is disabled but I use 11.7 flash player due to the fact the new flash player 13 and 12 makes my youtube videos freeze up. 11.7 is the only one I found out of all of em that still works right for me. That may be what is causing the crashes. I dont know how to read crash ID's so I leave that up to yall I have two. I Just marked solved on a thread that i had going over the same issue. And for reference I do not have hardware acceleration enabled on firefox it makes the letters weird for some reason So I never use it. I have disabled flash and so far so good but only time will tell and a lot of the sites I go to use flash. I was scrolling my facebook news feed both times when this error happened. Overnight the view changed and we can't seem to get it back to normal. There is some type of tab arrangement at the top of the view, can we restore it to the previous classic type view somehow?

My Firefox has been moving slow, and hanging up (unresponsive). I noticed in my properties that it says windows XP and I have Windows 8. could this be the problem?

а не кнопкой с тремя горизонтальными линиями в право верхнем углу экрана. И каким способом потом можно вернуться к новым настройкам с кнопкой с тремя горизонтальными линиями в правом верхнем углу экрана.

websites will allow viewer to download items in mep4 or flv format but when it's clicked firefox can not find it. if you right click and try to "save target as" firefox saves it as a "HTML" document.

I am using Win7, Firefox and trying to access my online banking. The login page loads, as it always has.

Problem: I enter my username and then my password (the first phase of the login). This should then send me to another screen requiring one more challenge. About two weeks ago(-ish), after completing the first phase and selecting the continue button, i ended up on a plain html screen with the following text displayed instead (within the quotes):

"// ok Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8

// ok"

The banking page appears to be using .asp to serve the pages.

Fix attempts: I have called the online banking helpline, twice, but they have not been able to help. I have cleared ALL caches, cookies, updated firefox to latest ver., etc. and started firefox in Safe-Mode. But to no avail. So in desperation I went through resetting firefox to defaults (although a couple of add-ons: skype click to call, etc remained and can't be removed but are disabled).

I still cannot access my online banking second phase login. (ps I have even tried reinstalling firefox - although I have not removed my saved passwords, bookmarks, etc as this really would be a big problem.

I can login using my mobile, but this is really no good to use.

Кроме того в новой версии браузера с его мудацким дизайном категориески отказываются работать дополнительные кнопки окна (закрепить окно, прозрачность, всегда поверх других окон, свернуть в трей", устанавливаемые программой avira.

SUMMARY: I am a Firefox user with HTML knowledge. I want to be able to configure Firefox to behave in a special manner when I hit backspace. It's something that Firefox already does, BUT NOT ALWAYS. I don't know why it behaves differently in different situations for no apparent reason. I want to be able to configure firefox to ALWAYS behave in the manner I want to. Read below for the precise description.

When I fill a FORM in a page, wether POST or GET, and press ENTER, it obviously acts as expected: submits the data and brings me to a new page. When I get to the new page, and I press BACKSPACE, Firefox behaves in sometimes like TYPE 1 and sometimes like TYPE 2 (see below), and I can't predict which one he will choose. I want to be able to configure it to behave ALWAYS like TYPE 2.

TYPE 1 - Firefox reloads the previous page, as if I just entered it for the first time.

TYPE 2 - Firefox brings me back to the exact same page view I had before pressing ENTER to submit the FORM. 2.1 - It doesn't reload the page; 2.2 - It places the page in the same scrolled position I was before (for example, if I scrolled to the bottom of the page to fill the FORM and press enter, after pressing backspace it brings me to the bottom of the page again; 2.3 - It automatically focus the HTML input element I last typed (the element that was focused at the very moment I pressed ENTER to submit the FORM).

So, I want to be able to configure Firefox for it to ALWAYS BEHAVE LIKE TYPE 2 whenever I fill a HTML FORM, press ENTER and press backspace after going to the new page. All three details I gave are important. Remember that I've already experienced TYPE 2 in previous versions of Firefox, I just wish to FORCE IT to behave like that ALWAYS (because for no apparent reason, sometimes it behaves like TYPE 1 instead).

Please let me know if that's possible, and if not, I would really THANK YOU ALL FOREVER if you add this feature to the next version.

I'm doing my banking in private browsing and use my spreadsheet to manage my accounts. I have 5 bank accounts and 2 savings accounts that I update while doing online banking. I have two screens, it would be nice if one could be used for my spreadsheet which I do when not using private browsing. I can bring up the spread sheet in private browsing as an HTML page if I save it like that, but it's read only, cannot use it as a spread sheet.
