When I browse youtube I normally open videos in a new tab by right clicking on the thumbnail and selecting open in new tab - Menu is displayed with options specific to the LINK i just right-clicked on. i.e. "open link in new tab" , "open in new window" , "bookmark link", etc.

Now, when I right click on a youtube video thumbnail, a different menu appears, with options relating to the PAGE (itself)- i.e. "save page as..." , "save page to pocket", arrows to go to previous/next page, etc.

I tried to troubleshoot in safe mode but it's the same problem. This is on both my PC and Mac. What could the problem be? Appreciate your help!

On some websites Firefox is displaying strange text/characters. I've tried refreshing and troubleshooting, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and the problem was fixed for about 24 hours, and now it's back. I have confirmed my language is sent to English.

Has anyone experienced this? And if so, how did you fix it?

I don't want to use another browser, but at this point it looks like I'm going to have to. Everything displays properly on Chrome.

Hi Folks, I recently downloaded and installed firefox-114.0.1 to replace the aging CentOS 7 package. Install went fine, browser seems to be working great. But now, every few minutes, I get a dialog box popping up titled "Unlock keyring" asking me to "Enter password to unlock"

Completely obnoxious - you can't ignore it. It steals focus from whatever you were doing. You can click somewhere else end get the mouse focus back, but the keyboard focus is stuck to the dialog until you close it.

I know that KDE has some sort of keyring feature, but I've never used it and I've tried to disable it in settings.

I think it must somehow be related to the firefox install, because I never had it happen until this install yesterday.

Suggestions? I'm about ready to revert to the prehistoric v78 Thanks

I downloaded Last Pass through Firefox years ago...almost as soon as became available. The prompt for the Master Password does not function as it should but it does on Microsoft Edge. I've spoken with Last Pass on this and we added it to Edge in order to test the results. The result was that the Lass Pass icon on Edge remained lit but was not lit on Firefox. It should re-time itself whenever Last Pass is utilized and I use it for all my log-ins throughout the day...every day! I do not like Edge and use Firefox exclusively. I find this situation extremely disconcerting. I've been asked to enter that Master Password again and again within the 24 hour re-prompt schedule...at times within minutes! This should not occur. Please fix this glitch. It's between you or your developer and Lass Pass. It has nothing to do with me

Yahoo websites blocked from within the US. I get the following message: "When trying to access my yahoo mail account from within the US I get the following message: Yahoo’s suite of services will no longer be accessible from mainland China." Any thoughts on what is happening and how to correct it? I'm in the US using the Mozilla VPN with a US server location

Problem logging into several sites with Firefox but no problem with Chrome or Edge. Firefox is and has been my browser of chose forever and I really need a fix for this

The Pizza Hut Rewards site won't complete login. It just has a o with \ through it. After a while, the reCAPTCHA will say that it timed out and need to check box again. I do that but, it still doesn't complete.

I called Pizza Hut Rewards and they told me to use Google Chrome (which I don't trust).

I have tried this in both regular and Private Browsing mode with same results.

When I am using Firefox I am no longer having anything on the taskbar to open my Emails. How do I do this? I cannot open emails in order to put back on taskbar.

Received SSL error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_MALFORMED_HANDSHAKE when attempting to communicate with JetBlue.com. JetBlue claims issue is with Firefox on my computer. When I go thru Google Chrome, I can communicate successfully with JetBlue with no error issues. I tried using your self-help screens, but find them of no benefit in resolving my problem. Whenever I make a bookmark, it automatically puts it in the Bookmark Toolbar, but I want it to default to the Bookmark Menu. I can't find any way to do that and can't find any good information about it. One site said I needed an ad-on, but I shouldn't need that for something so simple that used to work fine on my old computer with Firefox. I can't find any settings for this at all.

Please help me fix this.

I frequently use the website Cookie Clicker. After Firefox updated, all the history/cookies for Cookie Clicker seems to have been deleted. I think that only the Cookie Clicker website has been affected... which sucks because I made a LOT of progress in that game. Is there a way to fix this, or am I out of luck?

I'd prefer opening new tabs to happen in the background, so I can stay on the original page.

So far, Firefox seems to open new links and will switch to them immediately, automatically.

I checked in settings, and found the setting in the attached image.

I found that whether this setting was checked or unchecked, the behavior remained the same.

Any suggestions?

Most of my bookmarks gone, in the sense, that they DON'T lead to the place listed, but to another place. For example, the link says "Health Hub", but logo is for Wells Fargo and the link is for that. Another one states, Austin Telco Federal Credit Union, and the link is to my home webmail.

How do I restore my bookmarks back? I've been adding the correct ones. But I don't see why I need to add them back. How can I get my bookmarks that I've had for years BACK?
