Good day, has anybody an idea if and what addon could manage for me redefinition of mouse behaviour. Particularly in my case I want to use middle (wheel) button single click over any text input to perform clipboard paste (but everywhere else the button behaves normally). I had this feature integrated into mouse gestures add on which is no more compatible.

I'm constantly annoyed by the history tab on my phone. When I visit several Wikipedia pages one after the other for example, they're grouped together in a folder that's named after whatever first search query I made. I don't see any way to turn this off.

Additionally, I'd also like to be able to delete forwarding pages from my history from my phone. I do this on my PC which I have synced by entering "." into the history search bar and manually deleting them but otherwise I'm stuck using the search function on my phone even for pages I visited recently, which is often full of forwarding pages I haven't gotten around to deleting yet.

I recently had to factory reset my computer and had to download and sync my firefox account all over again. It's been a week and firefox is still syncing, none of my bookmarks, add-ons, history or top sites on the new tab are showing up. Thankfully, it appears that most of my passwords have been synced.

I've read some other threads for tips and can confirm that I don't have this account logged in to other devices and I don't have a vpn or proxy running. I am able to obtain the sync logs but I have no idea how to read it.

How can I make the bookmarks, add-ons, history and top sites sync faster?

I'm trying to get rid of these blue selector things. Apologies that I don't know what they're called. They appear at random times and I cannot force them to appear. Just happens randomly it seems when some text is selected.

Can something in the about:config be toggled to disable this?

Whenever I use Firefox 109.0 (on Ubuntu 22.04) to transfer money between savings and checking in my online banking account, I get a window pop-up that says "No Apps Available". This is something going on my bank's servers and shouldn't require Firefox or any local helper apps on my end to do anything. I will post the window that pops up. Has anyone else encountered this? And is there a way to disable these pop-up?

Was filling out pdf version of 2022 IRS tax forms and discovered leading zero is suppressed in Firefox PDF v109.0.1 64 bit on Windows 10. "Before" image is after typing leading zero but before 'enter' or moving to next field. "After" image is after typing leading zero and after 'enter' or moving to next field. The leading zero disappears.

Saving pdf does not change leading zero suppression.

To see if the pdf document was configured by the IRS to suppress leading zero, I opened the same form in Microsoft Edge v109.0.1518.78 64 bit on Windows 10. It retained the leading zero after typing then 'enter' or moving to next field.

While using MS Edge to complete pdf forms fixes my immediate issues, there still seems to be a defect in Firefox pdf.

I have never used a primary/master password. I updated to 109.0.1 on a computer that had not been used for a few weeks. I do NOT sync FF on any computer. "Use Primary Password" is NOW checked on this 2nd computer. (never used or needed before) In order to try to change this, I was required to enter my password. When I enter the password I use to access mozilla support (the only FF password I have ever had), nothing happens and I do not get any options, i.e., forgot password. I have never been requested to enter a password on any computer (to access FF; only to reach mozilla support.) On my primary computer, "Use Primary Password" is not checked, as it should not be. There used to be icons for the few addons I use like AdBlock Utlimate. Now with Firefox 109.0 in OpenMandriva Linux v. 23.90 and 23.01 or with Firefox 109.0.1 tar.bz2 from Mozilla website they are gone. Problem occurs with Ublock Origin and the DeepL Multi-translate addon also. (I use AdBlock Ultimate or Ublock Origin, not both at same time.)

I do not know if this is something in Firefox or something in OpenMandriva Linux but would like to find out soon if possible.

The only work around I have is to use an old profile. My best guess is that profile may be from time of v. 103-104 or there about.

I have many bookmark folders with many items in each folder. Some folders have many,many items in those individual folders. To scroll down the many items I have in a folder takes time. Is there any shortcut I can use to get to the end of the list in a folder without scrolling down for five minutes to get to the end of a list? I have looked in the Firefox website but I have not seen this question. I have many folders that have a lot of items I have bookmarked. Thanks for any help you can give.

In trying to solve my problem, I am going from bad to worse! Embarrassing! Screenshot of Chinese character issue is attached. Also, when I try to sign into Firefox from that page - https://support.cdn.mozilla.net/hi-IN/questions/1381354 - I am blocked from signing in. Somehow I am signed in now, but not sure how. duh! So first, the Chinese characters I need to solve, THEN have a question about an issue with mailto - no gmail default option. I have legacy handlers downloaded, kindly provided by jscher2000. Thank you! Do I drag his legacy handlers into my profile, if I am able to do so? I have tried all other suggestions on this problem. I really hope not to have to start anew with Firefox, because I have years of settings I am afraid I will lose. (Know it is doable, but I am a coward, as well as stupid, apparently.) Thanks in advance.

The free version allows for 5 masks. Is that 5 lifetime masks or 5 active masks? Example: If I set up 2 masks I have 3 remaining. If I delete one of the set up masks do I now have 4 remaining or have I still used up a mask even though it was deleted giving me 3 remaining? Thanks

For decades, when I right-clicked and selected Customize, Firefox opened a separate icons window. Now, it opens as a tab. How can I make it open again as a window? Thank you.

Every time I start the computer or reboot and open firefox I discover that it isn't the default browser, as reported in the firefox settings menu. I then go to Defaults apps in control pannel settings and set Firefox as the default which sets the default to satisfy the setting menu which then reports that firefox is now the default browser. The next time I turn on the machine or reboot and check the settings menu I discover that firefox is not the default web browser. How do I set firefox as the default browser permanently so that I won't have to do this each time I start the computer? Thank You.

My router address with extensions is xx.xx.xx.xx/#/login. My previous router was xx.xx.xx.xx/cgi-bin/MANGA/index.cgi. When I type the IP address without anything after it, the URL entry changes from the new address to the old one every couple of seconds. I can't log into the router because it keeps changing. I disabled URL autocomplete, but it doesn't change it. Whenever I enter the address, it still completes with first the correct and then the incorrect URL.

How do I stop this? Thanks in advance.

Hi. I bought new pc, and i'm trying to set up mozilla with all my passwords and bookmarks, from old pc. But after i logged in, bookmarks and passwords dont appear in a browser. I had so much important stuff there that im now kinda scared. Thanks for any help in advance
