Before I updated to FF 103.0.1, links I clicked on in e-mails in Outlook would open in an FF window using my existing default profile. Since updating to FF 103.0.1, these links open in an FF window with a virgin profile. If no such window was already open (from clicking on another e-mail link) this will be a new FF window, even if FF was already open with my normal profile. As a result, e-mail links to PDFs open the files directly in FF (instead of asking me where to download them to, as I have configured in my profile) and I am missing my stored passwords when the links lead to websites that require login.

This is a real PITA! Is there anything I can do other than revert to an earlier FF version? Please help!

I set up sync before reinstalling Windows 10 on my PC, currently everything is still intact on my iPhone, but gone on the PC, because I reset my password?

How can I get everything back in Firefox on my PC?

Firefox updated to 103.0 (64-bit) tonight and now zoom is at 110%. I have gone in and put it back to 100% but it's not changing. When I go back and look, it's right back to 110%.

How can I fix this?

It periodically blinks and that breaks buttons that open menus and closes context menus from Firefox. Also disables some keys, the tested list is arrows, might need to test that on all. As it's version-independent, it might be a dependency issue. It also happens in safe mode, which is saddening.

not sure if firefox has had users with email issues over weekend. unable to use menu items eg. move ;delete ;archive ; or lil box for selecting all ; or individual emails? do you know of a fix? tried logging out n going to webpage directly, to no avail . any ideas? phone app works fine

Firefox 103.0 - 64bit; Windows 10. Since Monday, I have been unable to download anything. The download starts and after a couple of seconds reports "Failed". I have tried starting in safe mode and it still fails. I've done a refresh to no effect. I also have another machine which has the same Firefox version and a copy of the profile but still runs Windows 7. No problem with that one....

Anyone got any ideas?

Duplicating of bookmarks now sorted by clearing all, thanks. Now, in the drop faves the bookmark menu is missing but appears in left pane when manage tab pressed? what is going on!

How do I add a site in setting - camera permissions to allow it to use my camera and microphone while still blocking other sites from asking to be allowed to use it.

FF upgraded itself and turned off the lighted keyboard on my tower computer. I can still use the keyboard, but it is not backlit and I want that feature back. Windows help files are non-existant. I have unpluged the keyboard and reconnected it and I did a cold reboot of the computer-no joy. Disabling the keyboard and trying to reinstall it by plugging it in again might work, but doing that is marked "advanced" by windows, so I am afraid to do it without advice. I am running windows 10 and use a Logitech keyboard. I am not a computer techi, so I need advice in baby-talk. VO1TV>

I reset my PC and reinstalled Firefox last month, but my bookmarks were never recovered after I logged in my Firefox account. A couple of months ago I installed Firefox on another PC (to which I no longer have access) and it showed all the synced bookmarks, but this time it doesn't. What should I do? Thank you

Today, web pages started showing small numbered boxes behind each element on a webpage. As you move down the page, the numbers are in sequence. I tried the font settings. They are all set at what they should be. I also tried the config settings, no joy. If I restart in troubleshooting mode, the boxes go away. Note: I am using Linux Mint, and Firefox just updated yesterday to V103.0.2. Any help would be appreciated.

On many websites I see text such as keyboard_arrow_right obstructing the view of the actual content (see attachment for example). Currently it's just annoying, but it makes it difficult to use websites and often I switch browser to Edge just to get work done on that website. How do I fix this? Or is it just a bug with this latest Firefox version [103.0.2 (64-bit) for Windows 10]?

This is a very bizarre problem. Basically I can't install any Firefox addon neither on my desktop OR may laptop. I noticed this issue just couple of days ago. When I try to install any addon normally, from a link, it tells me that the addon can't be installed because the file is corrupt. Tried several addons, all same problem. On my desktop AND on my laptop. On my desktop I'm running ver. 103, but on my laptop I still had ver. 102.1, so there is no Firefox update issue. When I try to install addon from xpi file, it tells me that I have no permission to open that file and that's it. I tried to take ownership of that file but it didn't solve the issue I tried to disable my AV program, but it didn't do anything. On my laptop, I tried to refresh FF, no help. I tried to start FF in safe mode, same problem. I created new profile, same issue. Eventually, I totally uninstalled FF, removing program itself, removing Appdata folder and even registry entry. Installed fresh copy of FF, same problem exists. Then, I noticed one thing. When I tried to sync fresh FF installation on my laptop, it synced everything, EXCEPT for addons. So, something is preventing me doing anything regarding addons. Themes install just fine. I've struggling with this problem since yesterday and at this point I totally ran out of any fresh ideas how to solve this issue, thus posting here. I'll appreciate any fresh idea as what to do next. I am using Firefox in two laptops, one Win10 and one Win11. My situation is as the following:

1. Bookmarks in two laptops have already been synced. 2. On laptop1 I login Firefox, delete some bookmarks, and sync. 3. On laptop2 I login Firefox, sync, then all my deleted bookmarks are restored in laptop2. (4. If I login Firefox on laptop1 later, deleted bookmarks come back too.)

I expect 3. not to happen because I expect Firefox uses data modified time to decide which is the latest. However the above situation keeps happening.

Could you please guide me how to not restored deleted bookmarks? Thank you.

Hello, when I click on link with middle mouse button it will open that link on next tab but doesn't "jump" there, which is fine. But when I do the same with pdf links, it will automaticly "jumps" on the pfd file. And I don't want to. I want to open it like normal link (on next tab in background), because I have a lot of pdf files to open, and this makes it difficult to do it qucikly. Before some weeks this wasn't a probem, it started now.
