Cannot upgrade from 3,6, desktop keeps hanging on checking addons with new version
Everytime I want to upgrade I have the same problem. A normal upgrade goes normal , but then the new version goes checking the addons for compatibility and there it does'… (read more)
Everytime I want to upgrade I have the same problem. A normal upgrade goes normal , but then the new version goes checking the addons for compatibility and there it does'nt go further.
Also when I first remove the entire installation of firefox and then want to install I get the same problem

Why do I keep being told to upgrade on my start page even though I upgrade and am now on 9.0.1

I turn on my laptop and my Mozilla start page comes up. It tells me I am not on the latest version of Firefox so I download and run the latest version. I finish whatever I am doing and shutdown. When I restart also always it tells me the same thing - even on the same day. I check my downloads and that tells me that I have the latest version. I don't understand and find it a little bit frustrating.
Your help would be appreciated.

I used to have, when a single tab was open a + sign that opened a new balank tab. Where did it go?
I think it went missing with ver. 8. It was really useful if I wanted to search for info.

Opening links in a new tab will also load the link on the currnt tab. temporamental problem that comes and goes. Happens using google links as well sometimes.

Opening links in a new tab will also load the link on the currnt tab. temporamental problem that comes and goes. Happens using google links as well sometimes. Never had this problem before. Also the SafeSearch feature on google has locked itself on strict, not too much of a problem, but happend at the same time my links and tabs stopped working how I want.

I set up sync and copied bookmarks to another another computer that I am giving to my grandson. I deleted many bookmarks that were of no interest to him. I didn't disable sync on my computer and now have lost most of my bookmarks. Can I retrive these?

Have multiple tabs saved to reopen on FF6.0 start, but once they load it displays the last tab opened. If I try to click on another tab I have open, the url in the address bar changes, but it still shows the last tab opened on the screen.
