Hello, I have a small issue. A while back I tweaked the settings and prefs of about:config, and in that, I forced Firefox to always automatically access every site with HTTPS instead of HTTP. I did this as an added security feature for a friend, but that was a while ago. Now, I have noticed that she can't acess her e-mail, or a lot of other sites.I already reset firefox, but all that did was reset the exceptions, now its asking for an exception everytime. But thats not the problem even IF I add the exception, the entire Yahoo site messes up. ALL graphics and everything are disabled. All you see is raw Text data and hyperlinks that are all broken. It works fine if I access another browser and it connects normally. But no matter what, it keeps trying to connect HTTPS. I don't really remember what settings I changed, and I would like to revert it back. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista SP2. and running Firefox 26.0 It seems that when we are on Facebook, every once in a while the the system will shut it's self down. It doesn't happen when you re on any other sites, just FB. We tried FB on IE & Chrome, and nothing goes wrong. We prefer FF over the others, but this has has us perplexed. Has anyone else seen this before?

Ever since upgrading to FF 26 I can't play video on YouTube or many other sites. It says "You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video. Download it from Adobe."
So I click on the link which takes me to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/, do the install which goes without trouble.
But afterwards I get the same message when I try to play videos.
Running Windows 7 on a Desktop PC. Having NO problems playing videos in IE or Chrome. FF used to be great but it's becoming more trouble than it's worth.

I run Ubuntu 10.10 LTSP server/client network and DO NOT want to upgrade Ubuntu... too much trouble, nobody can guarantee it will not hammer my LTSP install and besides, Unity is awful. I need newer Firefox due to some frequently used web pages, so I need an install procedure that will not hammer anything. It's a mission critical user environment. If anybody has positive experience with Firefox upgrade in similar environment please advise.

I've had it with the constant crashing. I've removed plugins, run diagnostics, and still, 2,3, 4, more times a day, random firefox crashes. Unacceptable.

i am running Firefox v26. I have tried installing the Lync client plugin from Micorsoft, and i do see the plugin .dll in the mozilla plugin folder afterwords, i make sure the config value is set to true for "loadplugin".. i try copying the plugin folder into the browser directory by hand as well (via all the explanations of how to fix this issue), but none of this works. i still get the "get me out of here" page when trying to open a live meeting which navigates my browser to the MS lync page.
unfortunately this may mean discontinuing my use of Mozilla if this issue cannot be resolved. Microsoft Office 360 and Microsoft Lync are seeing wide distribution now, and my company won't allow not migrating to it. but this now means i can no longer really use Firefox at work which is a very very sad day indeed.

crash usually happens when I try to upload a doc, after clicking on buttons like "upload resume" type. FF 26 freezes from time to time for about 5-7 sec and than look like everything comes back again.
crash and freeze might be related but they dont happens with the same frequancy. mostly freezes, crash is about twice a day.
addons I suspect are "flashblock" 1.5.17 and "Ads EWOQ Mobile Viewr 1.2" possibly "noscript"
while "Noscript" is not important, I cant do my work without "Flashblock" and "Ads EWOQ".

Ever since last week up to 2 weeks ago my Firefox Browser (26.0 Version) will just stop working and say (Not Responding) like ever 5-10 minutes, even reset the browser and even put it in Safe Mode still the same thing happened and it will freeze my computer to where I have to shut it down. Also I have run my Microsoft Security Essentials anti-virus, malwarebytes, and superantispyware software (not at the same time obviously) still nothing and run C Cleaner, and then if I am watching a movie, listening to music or playing a game in the browser or Spotify it will say plug-in not working and asks me to shut it down, same thing will long scripts and I don't understand this I am at my wits end what do I do?
