When signing in to Spotify, Firefox asked me if I wanted to log in using info from my Chrome browser. I use them separately as Firefox is personal and Chrome is for school. After doing this I accepted a few popups that I didn't read (because I'm stupid) and now all my Firefox bookmarks are gone and have been replaced with bookmarks that I have on Chrome. This is a massive inconvenience as I need the bookmarks I have lost. I'm also concerned about what else has changed. I went into settings to try and figure out if I could find anything there but I didn't except for turning off sync, but I'm pretty sure that's only for Firefox internally. If there is any way to end whatever the linkup is between Chrome and Firefox and recover my old bookmarks (and whatever else may have changed)?
My computer was upgraded and I can not find the correct account with my bookmarks which I need.

For well over a year, I have had this problem: Many times when I selected a bookmark, nothing happens. It does not go to the bookmarked site. I have tried the following things: 1. Start FF in safe mode. 2. changed OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10. 3. Made sure my OS and browser were up to date. 4. Tried different Antivirus programs.
Can anyone help me with this?
