Hi,I am using version 109.1. My problem is that I have two columns for my bookmarks.The second one is on the right side of the first. I would like to have it(the 2nd one) on the left. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Like many others, I have used Firefox for a long, long time. Today (2/14/2023) is the last straw. I installed the latest upgrade and now my Bookmarks are all gone. When I say all gone, I mean "all gone." There is no backup, no previous dates, no nothing. I tried all the suggested by Firefox in the pages of the website. No help. And this is not an isolated instance. For the past several upgrades, many such issues have occurred with great frequency.

This time, my layouts were gone, my toolbar icons were gone - not even in the "Customize" option. This is ridiculous and it is getting quite tiring. I'm not sure what the criteria is for developers, but it seems like some of the open source resources could be saboteurs even though that sounds far-fetched.

For Mozilla, it boils down to this: either stop this problem so that it doesn't repeat or I (no doubt along with many others) will find it simple enough to relocate to another browser; maybe with fewer features but absolutely with fewer frustrations and difficulties.

I would prefer that Mozilla fix the situation permanently, but I am not averse to seeking simplicity and performance.

Having tried, it does not seem possible for me to install/upload/migrate bookmarks I have stored on Firefox on an old computer, to my new computer.

Can you help please.

I have tried to install fire fox over 5 times, it will not fully import bookmark html file. Can I copy and paste the file to the fire fox folder? The Microsoft edge browser took the bookmark file with no problems, I want to go back to fire fox. I am running a new windows 11 pro intel based i9 system.

Hi, I gues I did not have a firefox profile as I had a user profile in the company. my laptoü crashed suddenly and all bookmarks and passwords are lost. True? I cannot restore them via the company user account without having a firefox profile - right? Or is there any other backup next to the profile which can be accessed from another computer? Hello, I had to reinstall MacOS. When I did, I lost my bookmarks on Firefox. When I opened the browser, a pop-up window asked if to import my bookmarks. Then I noticed the imported bookmarks were an old version from another browser. Is there a way to find my Firefox bookmarks and import those? Thanks!

i install new windows and after installing when i log in to my account on firefox it dint backup my bookmarks and everything . i have so much important bookmark was saved and for over 6+ months effort . can anyone tell me how i can recover it or how can i contact firefox chat agent

I am a longtime user of Firefox. When I started with it, I was under the (apparently false) belief that the main bookmarks folder was "other bookmarks". Consequently, all of my important bookmarks are contained in this folder. I just bought a new computer from Dell, and I find that I can not import the Other Bookmarks folder into the new computer. What I would like to do is delete the contents of the Bookmarks folder, then transfer the contents of the Other Bookmarks folder into this. I know I can do this one by one, but it will take a LONG time. Is there any way to do this in bulk? Thanks.

Firefox (10.0002 64-bit) is bookmarking every single page I visit, making the bookmarking function useless to me. I just noticed this problem recently. Someone posted a similar question in 2016:

He seemed to think the problem was related to an app -- but someone else posted to that question and they did not have any new apps. Nor do I. I haven't knowingly installed any apps to Firefox in the last year.

Can someone please tell me how to stop the bookmarking function from booking pages automatically without my input?

I have tried all of the suggestions and cannot find any backup files other then current dates. Now I am without my bookmarks clear back to 5/7/2022???? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) Cannot restore them even after logging into account with same email address. 2) Windows.old does not exist. 3) Tried %APPDATA% method to use "Gibberish".default folder for profile recovery. (Might need some guidance here but overall it did not work too.

Firefox was always logged in with same email account and it should've synced all the data.

I have logged into a new device with Firefox account and am not certain where the bookmarks have been pulled from as they do not match those on my previous device where the account was set to sync.

I am using Firefox Desktop with windows10. I had a problem with windows and the fix deleted everything except my data files. I have reinstalled Firefox. However, the reinstall has none of my bookmarks. Is there a way to recover the Bookmarks from my previous version ? They took years to develop. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi My browser updated to latest version 100.0.1 but all my opened tabs are missing. And what is more important all my sync bookmarks are also gone. I can note restore any of sync data.

When I use Microsoft Edge Browser in the top row it shows my Bookmarks and to the left it also shows an icon that allows you to jump back to the Edge Browser.

In Mozilla Firefox there is no icon to take you back to the Firefox browser. Occasionally a site will Hi-Jack you and trying to use the back arrow to get back to the Browser does not work. The only solution is to shut down the Firefox browser and then restart it again.

I would rather use Firefox as it support HTML 5 audio which is not supported in Microsoft Edge.

Can you please advise.
