I select multiple files in File Explorer and select, right click, Send To, Thunderbird, but only one of the files actually appears in the Thunderbird email. It appears that which one shows up as an attachment to the email is quite random. This used to work fine with all the selected files showing in the email, I haven't upgraded anything so far as I know, and I don't think I have changed anything at all. Any ideas most welcome. Incidentally, if I select only one file to send then it works fine; if I select multiple files to send through Outlook, then that works fine. I just cannot send multiple files through Thunderbird. I am using Thunderbird version 115.4.1 (64 bit). I have looked at the issue on Microsoft pages and they are of the opinion that this is a Thunderbird issue, not a Windows one. I can't access my account anymore, this one was created by linking the mail address used for the account which apparently i never did. I tried every password i commonly used and none of them worked, so I think that this one was auto-generated and then saved, in my firefox account... What is really killing me is the 7 years of bookmarks and password that are locked behind this password, i can access the account by password recovery but that would defeat the purpose since I just learned that its linked to my data. I just changed my OS back to windows so file recuperation is gonna be a pain/impossible. The way i understand things i have to make my peace with all the websites I accumulated for years (and also the PWs) or wait and don't touch my PC because the firefox folder that was deleted was on the same HDD that i used for the new OS. Of course all of this wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have had a problem to my phone and send it back to the constructor for the warranty, which means if I'm not mistaken that my account just lost it's last link to me, except the auto-destruction button. Is starting to learn cryptography my best bet to reach my account ? Or is there something I didn't cover and there still a way ? Please tell me it's still possible.

Suddenly a new message will arrive with several related messages attached as happens with a search. The new message is not bolded and is difficult to see. What have a done? I have been using Thunderbird for at least 20 years and now feel lost.

Having problems with my emails since the change over. They are ascending instead of descending and I can't change it. Also when I log in, emails start at 2016 instead of recent emails and i have to scroll down to see my new emails. Help!

When I opened Firefox, the message below popped up for a few seconds, then disappeared: CAD 3.8.2 - Some site data, including 1 Cookie(s), removed from 1 domains(s), including addons.mozilla.org...

Can anyone explain this, and should I be worried (CAD is a Python term used in uploading code). Thank you.

If I select Inbox in one of the accounts in the list of accounts, and then click on Get Messages, Thunderbird gets messages for all accounts. How do I limit it to the account whose Inbox I have selected?

In older versions (say, Firefox 85 which I have been happily using until now) you could enter the search shortcut (say, "y" for youtube), then just press enter without entering any search terms, and be brought to the main page of that search engine. In fact, search engine definition file has a specific field for that feature.

Well, I'm on FF 119 now and I find that this behaviour is broken. You MUST enter search terms now.

Is there a way to fix this pointless change, or do I have to downgrade?

I used to be able to access my email with previous versions of Firefox but cannot anymore. When I attempt to sign in it just goes back to sign in page. I have to use another browser to access my email. Is it possible to go back to a previous version of firefox?

since version 119 of Firefox a download behaves siometimes different. The directory and "Ask before save" are still valid. But sometimes Firefox start to save in the directory without asking. Why behaves version 119 sometimes different in comparison with previous versions like 118?

I am hopeful you will be able to help me. All open tabs NOW disappear after power failure or Comcast temporarily loses service or I restart my computer. This never happened to me before ~ if my computer was affected by outage or I manually restarted it a message came up to click on asking if I wanted my tabs restored. 1 click and they were restored ~ that option is not available to me now. It's frustrating and time consuming for me to "look" for, and "try" to find those tabs I had open. If someone does respond to my question I won't know its been done unless I receive an email because I'm not certain I can find my way back to this support page, primarily because I cannot remember HOW I even found this page in the first place! I bookmarked this page so perhaps I will be able to return to it. Thanks for the "How to restore tabs" help I HOPE you can give me. Marilyn West

Howdy When I click get messages it downloads both clients at the same time. I already unchecked all the boxes in settings for downloading automatically. Never had this problem before latest update. Thanks in advance Joe

Very disappointed that there is still no 'fix' for this far too large Message List Pane issue.

I neither want nor need to see 10 emails listed while I can hardly read the email below! Loads of people have complained about it and we have had three updates since SuperNova, but no fix for this simple matter.

Actually, it doesn't need 'fixed' - we just have to go back to the settings as they were. Help!
