This issue only pertains to the Chinese language and is not a website problem. In the startup settings, when the option to open previous windows and tabs is enabled, after keeping several web pages and re-entering the browser, Firefox will attempt to open the previous tabs. However, if a new tab is selected at this time, the search bar should normally display 'Use Baidu to search, or enter a URL,' but in reality, the characters for 'Baidu' appear as garbled text. This bug consistently occurs in this version. This issue only appeared after I automatically updated Firefox a few days ago; I have never encountered this problem before. May I ask everyone, how should this problem be resolved?

I moved emails from my inbox to three different folders, including my deleted folder. All have disappeared and I don't know where to look to find them. I thought it might just be the system being slow so exited and re=entered. But the emails have still not shown up in the folders I moved them to. Any suggestions as to where to look or how to recover welcome.

Since some time late last night (so about 16 hours ago at most), my Thunderbird account started processing filters incorrectly on incoming emails. A number of legitimate emails were detected by filters I had set up, and deleted, although they did not appear to meet any of the criteria I put in the filter. On editing the filters, I did find some with a criteria active on the 'from' address, containing, and with a complete blank in the text box. I am not sure if this meant they were picked up by the rule, but I deleted all lines with blanks in them. Following this, some emails were still being processed as meeting the criteria of the rules, although they did not. It does now appear to have settled down, but instead, messages that I personally deleted, are not appearing in the 'deleted emails' folder until after I close down Thunderbird and re-open it again. (which is a little confusing, but I am coping). At this point I do not need any assistance, so long as this strange behaviour stops happening, but I was trying to work out if it was something in my Thunderbird programme awry, or something at the mail server, and I have not been able to confirm either, so thought I ought to let you know. I usually install Thunderbird and Firefox updates as soon as they are available when the programme notifies one is available. I have toolbar bookmarks on PC with windows 11, firefox 155.0 (64-bit). and I have android phone, Samsung S26 Ultra with firefox, logged in with the same user. However, on mobile I could see a synced bookmarks which are removed long back from the desktop. I have tried to clear cache and data and re-login on mobile device firefox, still it shows the old bookmarks which were existing few weeks back. please advise

I updated to Firefox v155 today and noticed immediately that video is washed out. Please see attached image. Firefox is on the left and Safari is on the right. I haven't updated my laptop yet and video looks 100x better.

We need help with Mozilla Thunderbird and OAuth2 access to Google Workspace accounts. This worked for years and recently started failing.

Setup — two SEPARATE Google Workspace organizations, in the same Thunderbird profile:

Workspace A — egkt.hu (separately administered) → does NOT block Thunderbird. Works fine on a clean machine where it is the only account. Workspace B — egyensulyintezet.hu (a different organization, different admin) → blocks Thunderbird with admin_policy_enforced.

Already tested / ruled out (NOT a client, machine or network issue): - A personal @gmail.com account (no Workspace policy) sends perfectly from the same Thunderbird. - egkt.hu works standalone on a clean macOS machine. - No antivirus/TLS interception (Defender scan clean, hosts file default, certificate valid), no proxy (system + Thunderbird), TCP to smtp.gmail.com:465 succeeds, fails on both office network and mobile hotspot, ports 465 and 587.

Our questions: For Workspace B (egyensulyintezet.hu): please confirm this is the API controls → App access control policy blocking third-party apps, and advise how to mark the Thunderbird OAuth client ID (above) as Trusted so users can use Thunderbird. Is it expected that a blocked account from one Workspace can interfere with the OAuth login of an account from a separate Workspace in the same Thunderbird profile? If so, how do we prevent that?

FF 154.0 will not create a backup file. Trying to create an initial backup to my D: drive (2 TB Samsung 990 Pro M.2 Gen 4 NVMe SSD with 86% free space). WIN Pro 25H2 Operating system, Intel Core i7-14700K CPU; 64 GB DDR5 - 5600 MHz Corsair Vengeance DRAM.

No matter what I do I can't get the initial backup to complete even though the D:/Restore Firefox folder was created. I consistently get this message, “Hmm, there was a problem with the backup. Please try again in a few minutes.” The message result of browser.backup.backup-debug-info is:

I use thunderbird and see emails and content in preview line, but when I open the mail it is empty I don't see anything. All emails are the same. I erase Cache and Clear Data from the App Storage. After that all email are fine but when I receve a nea one is the same: empty. Thunderbird 22.0 on Samsung Galaxy A56G, Android Version 16.

Any text selected in Firefox for Android on a Samsung Tablet has the "Ask Gemini" option with no way to turn it off.

This only appears on Firefox, does not happen on the same tablet in DuckDuckGo, Google Play Store, Fossify Notes App, Wikipeida app. Only in Firefox on Samsung. (Does not appear on Firefox on Sony phone).

Gemini is not installed on the Samsung Tablet, and ALL of the possible AI settings, assistants and apps are disabled, turned off or opted out of in both the Samaung Settings, the Google Account, the Mozzilla Account and the Firefox browser settings. There is no active assistant running on the device and Gemini is not even an installed app.

As this is ONLY ever appearing in Firefox for Android on the tablet and absolutely no other apps without Gemini even being installed and actively being blocked from running makes me think this is a bug specific to Firefox.

Screenshots included as this shows it the different apps listed and that this menu is different per app as some have their own context items, which again supports this being a potential bug specific to Firefox.

How can this be sucessfully reported, removed, turned off or customised to stop the accidental activation of an AI Assistant from Firefox when selecting text? (Either as text already on a page or text that has been typed into a form or doc via the web.)

After fixing the view problem of my email in Thunderbird (thanks for the F8 tip!), my email stopped downloading. I have no "prompt for password" checked. There isn't a primary password checked. I've confirmed the pop outgoing email is correct with the email provider (google). I can get into it without any issues and see my emails there.

I've re-entered the password for the pop outgoing email to no avail.

Android 16. All Firefox versions above 151.0.4 have the same issue where an audio stream is being cut for no reason after a few seconds once the screen is turned off. The expected behavior is to play normally in background.

Hi a few days ago I updated my firefox version 155.0 well I had 3 open tabs going back to and forth to different sites. when the update firefox popped up, I mistakenly hit update & a notice said firefox is attempting to save these sites, I closed the notice then shut down my laptop,

I never take a update with any thin running. when I turned on the w-10 lap top seem to take awhile to load, so I let it load, and then I shut it down completely. I went to task manager and my read write on my c: drive was running at 100% for about 15-20 minutes. I went to firefox settings and re-set "cache at startup"

This seemed to help some, but still not sure if it is locked in a loop, looking for those those saved files.

I am 80 now and not a pc savvy as I was. not sure what the normal time the c drive for read write should stay at 100% after starting my laptop, I know there is indexing going on, but I thought it would be done by now. after. Thank You Gary Kouri

Hello, Since this morning after an update of firefox the history is lost and my personal bar where I stored my bookmarks is empty now after applying version 155.0.1 the problem is still alive Help Please

Hallo zusammen. Ich kann seid etwa 2 Wochen keine Nachrichten mehr in meinen Lokalen Ordner archivieren. Habe schon sehr viel ausprobiert: - Papierkorb geleert - Archiv komprimiert - Lokalen Ordner neu aufgebaut (.msf-Dateien entfernt) - komplett neues leeres Archiv an einem neuen Speicherort erstellt. Es kommt immer die selbe Meldung: Die Nachricht konnte nicht in den Ordner "Archiv/2026/2026-09 in Lokale Ordner" verschoben oder kopiert werden, da das Schreiben in den Ordner fehlgeschlagen ist. Um Speicherplatz frei zu machen, wählen Sie aus dem Menü "Datei" zuerst "Papierkorb leeren" und dann "Alle Ordner des Kontos komprimieren". Versuchen Sie es dann nochmals. Hat jemand eine Idee wie ich das beheben kann?
