My computer messed up today and i had to recover it, but i didnt get to save my bookmarks. I've had a mozilla account since 5/2/2024 (i think, thats at least what it says was the date i made my password) and i've saved a lot of bookmarks i cannot lose.

i forgot what email i had made it with tho, so i created a couple of new mozilla accounts and idk if that has messed up the profiles i'm using? i read the mozilla guide on bookmarks and i have like 3 profiles under "profile:default-release" (my settings are in danish, idk if that's what its called in english). but i cant tell which one it is? furthermore, when i click on "manage bookmarks" i get to this place that says something about bookmarks saved on html or something - which i know i havent done.

oh also, before any of that, the first thing i did was synchronize my google chrome bookmarks with firefox and idk if that has messed something up?

I just updated Thunderbird to 115.9.0 (64-bit) after many years. Took me a bit to get used to the new look-and-feel, but I do like it. Just noticed a change in how the compacting looks. With my old version, each time I did the compacting, I could see the progress down on the status toolbar, where it showed each folder as it was compacted on the left side and on the right side, a progress bar. I'm not seeing that now. In fact, I don't see any indication of the compacting progress at all. Am I missing something obvious? Thank you

I have copied the folders in the old Thunderbird profile to the new profile which was set up when I switched to a new SSD. The Local Folders all appear, but the contacts (address book) did not. The largest file (over 400,000 kb) is global-messages-db.sqlite. I have an abook.mab.bak file but no abook.mab file. Similarly I have a history.mab.bak file, but no history.mab file. These bak files are small. Trying to import an address book from the global-messages-db.sqlite in the Profile failed "unexpectedly". Help, please.

Two issues here I cannot update FF to latest version get the "failed to update" in the about section. Near as I can tell I think the problem is related to Nord VPN threat scanner? It is the last extension I installed, soo..

Oh and Windows 11 Pro X64 bit latest and greatest updates.

Also when downloading a new version there are variations in the downloaded file content. Never the same download twice different SHa and what not.

Also why does Mozilla not include an entire version with the download instead of the current method of downloading an installer, and then finally install with the FF downloader file?

Every time I would try to log in it would always redirect me to a website that contain only the words "Expected redirect cookie to exist"

It's really annoying because it only happens on Firefox. For some context I just re-installed Windows 11 and I heard from another post that re-installing Windows 11 will help but I do not want to go through the whole process again.

I have already tried:

• Turning off DNS over HTTPS
• Turning Off Proxy
• Clearing Cache and Cookies
• Reinstalling Firefox

I cannot get K9 to accept that I do not have a password verification for my e mail account.When K9 automatically configures my account IMAP and outgoing server it asks for password which I don't have

Hello, In Thunderbird (Vers. 115.9, OS Linux Zorin OS 17) I can integrate a calendar from a Mailbox.org account as described here(https://kb.mailbox.org/de/privat/adressbuch-und-kalender/caldav-clients-outlook-thunderbird-macos-evolution-kontact/). Everything works fine. If I now want to import a 2nd calendar from another mailbox.org account, this does not work. I can go through the process normally, but the 2nd calendar is not displayed. Does anyone have the same problem? It can't be that Thunderbird is not able to integrate 2 calendars ? Many thanks for your help

I am using Firefox on Mac - I usually minimize instead of closing - It has started making a TAPPING NOISE I thought it was my computer - but It now has happened to 3 different computers and one is brand new - T T T T TTT , I have narrowed it down to Firefox, when I minimize it will do it, then opened and it stopped and min. then start, repeeat - now it does the TTTTT all the time with it open or minimized. What is going on?

YouTube videos cannot be played in 4K resolution on Firefox; the maximum supported resolution is 1080p. However, when using Chrome browser, 4K playback is supported.

I'm using MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 and recently, my browser has started freezing up for several minutes. It seems that the culprit is the "fontd" process because when I open Activity Manager that process spikes to %50 to %80 CPU usage. Killing the process does nothing and quitting out of Firefox does nothing either. I made sure Firefox is fully updated, but still nothing. I'm not sure whether it's a problem with my Macbook Pro's fonts or if it's a problem with Firefox, but I'd like my browser to be reliable.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue or what I can do to resolve it?

Just installed thunderbird on a new to me computer When I enter my shawmail account it does the auto install and sets up but can t access imap server. My wife s shawmail works as does my ymail and gmail. called shaw but since it works when I log in through webmail, they can't help and suggested I try this site, I've deleted it and put it back and all the numbers are correct, Any ideas? thanks

I am experiencing more and more pages suddenly not working on numerous websites. I am working with an Imac running OS 10.9.5. I am experiencing problems with Firefox, Chrome and Safari and am having to revert to my Microsoft Lap top for a working browser.

Any ideas on this???

I set up an email address with Mailfence and paid $5 now it says that my trial period has expired and I need to pay to use the account. But this was not very clear when I signed up. Is Mailfence a paid service?

After last update, Missing "TRASH" folder and only have Junk Folder that everything is put in and marked as "Junk". Then those messages are all marked as "junk" automatically that may not be Junk. Tried to create subfolder named "Trash" and will not allow. Windows 10, 64 bit Dell laptop I-5 Inspiron 5759.

I am trying to use OBS Virtual camera, I am resetting permissions of camera access, removing cache and data to be sure, and selecting it but it still doesn't let me use OBS Virtual Cam and selects Built in cam automatically does anyone has any solutions ?

when I enter for first time I can select and i select OBS Virtual Cam and I click on Allow and then next window pops up and it doesnt let me select anything else...

We are attempting to disable DNS over HTTPS by pushing a configuration profile from JAMF Pro. The profile completes successfully and shows it is disabled, but Firefox will still show it is enabled. Has anyone else encountered this? We are using our own DNS Resolvers and need to not have Firefox force theirs. BTW, in order to avoid confusion, this is specific to MAC OS machines only. Thank you!

I'd been using 115.9.0 for a couple of weeks, and found it cantankerous, but manageable. Finally had the screen looking something like my old faithful 109. Today I started up Tbird, and NONE of the windows came up, except the main menu bar. I found that messages were downloaded (but I couldn't see them), and I could Write an email -- it's screen looked normal, as did the Address Book screen. I clicked on View/Folders and found that only the top "Folders" was checked. When I checked "All Folders", nothing happened, and if I left that menu and came back, the "All Folders" was not checked. Then I clicked something at the bottom of the Folders menu, and the Menu Bar disappeared. I've been unable to get it back. I enclose a screen shot of the current condition. Anything you can suggest is appreciated.

I tried to login to firefox sync on a different system due to repair. My entire data is gone and all passwords are also gone. What to do.

I even tried login with username and password apart from google sync. It still didn't worked.

Account setup: Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password. TB gmail was working fine, then all of a sudden a TB pop-up window was asking me to sign into thunderbird with my gmail account and then shows a 400 error. Totally confused at what is happening. I have been getting gmail via TB for years.
