Why are my personal folders NOT shown when select Move To then under Folders it only shows Trash ? A picture is worth a thousand words, so please see the image below:

I most recently reported an issue in relevance to account verification using an email string in addition to 2FA App on mobile, my issue only resolved it's self after the system realized I verified the account without the email side of the equation. I'm now struggling to locate my original inquiry readily so as to add remarks and identify particularly what portion of the security mechanism doesn't like the security codes sent via email.

I finally had to migrate my old Windows7 home computer to Windows10.

TB looks quite different from before.

After using Tools > Import to import the profile folder from the old computer, I'm having four issues:

1. For some reason, TB displays all the email accounts, although they're global: How can I get only the Thunderbird account to be displayed, like before?

2. When hitting F5 to connect and download emails from those different accounts, I'm prompted for their POP3 password. Why is that?

3. Windows won't let me unpin TB's icon in the taskbar. How can I remove it?

4. Is there a way to remove that empty space above?

The update Firefox 100.0.1 ( or 2 ) has a bug: Firefox doesn't "see" the Fritz!Powerline ( LAN over Powerline adaptors ) and thus I can't enter the Fritz!Box. Even typing the IP address of the Fritz!Box doesn't help, because there is "no connecting" beyond the PC. The hardware works, so I can send and receive emails, but I can't access the internet via the firfox browser. Stepping back to 99.0.1, I had to "create a new profile" and all my previous ( before the update to 100.0.1 ) settings were lost, all bookmarks vanished ... I am rather angry, you know? This mail I'm sending via my notebook, as I this connects via 100 Mbit Lan network from an other room and as I had to "register" just to be able to complain ...

I Have Thunderbird 137.0.2 running on Win11

When saving an attachment and navigating to target folder for save, no files in the target folder on the local PC are displayed.

This is not the case when looking for an attachment to send, only when saving attachment. I have another instance of a slightly older release of Thunderbird on a Win10 PC that behaves the same. Anu Ideas?

Hello, I have my thunderbird data files (emails, etc.) on a separate drive. I had windows, apps on an SSD. The ssd got corrupted so I had to reinstall. Now I need to have Thunderbird point to the files on the separate drive. I have been trying to figure it out from your support articles but it gets way too confusing, especially since the new version of Thunderbird is different from the version I had before. I've been using TB on 2 of my smaller email accounts for several months and really like the way it operates. I'm nearly ready to add my main email account (web-based Outlook) to TB but have one final question. If I add the account to TB, give it a fair try, and just don't like the results, can I simply delete that account from TB and go back to accessing it via its website? I have confirmed that POP is disabled for my Outlook account so I understand all email remains on the server until I remove it. I also understand TB would leave the email from the account on the same server, again pending some action I might take to remove it. So it would seem that I could delete the account from TB and revert to web-based access for the account, just as I'm doing now, and the folders and saved emails would still be there. Am I overlooking anything?

I downloaded the last version of Thunderbird using OS Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. I can't get past ./configure. "not found" I'm disappointed that I finally made a donation. Ron

its Mojtaba Dear i installed ThunderBird Email program , very good prgrma and i enjoy it but i have a problem when i want make new email it seem not work good before i used "Windows Live Mail " for example when you want import a table from Excel shown with color but in ThunderBird don`t show correct please check attachment photos to clear please guide me , maybe need change in setting or is basic problem
