Firefox keeps offering to translate websites, your new feature.

I neither want it to, nor do I appreciate ads, because it is simply you advertising your new product.

I have looked at the settings and there are 0 languages for which I've set it so it will offer me to translate and 0 for which it will do. Besides the fact I do speak and read multiple languages; it is not a feature I am interested in.

So when I set it so it will not bug me about it and every time I enter a foreign language site the little pop-up shows; that's some serious unwanted ads and also clearly FAR more tracking than FF is even supposed to be doing.

I have used firefox for nearly 15 years, but I'm honestly wondering if I should find another privacy focused browser One that doesn't spam me with little pop-ups over it's latest ill-conceived stupid feature.

So you could help by actually NEVER-EVER under any fucking circumstances show this stupid translation pop-up UNLESS I put I request it to do so in the settings or at the very LEAST allow me to turn it off.

I added a second Gmail account to Thunderbird. No problem.

Selecting the second account, right click on the account, click New Folder (directly under that account) enter the name and after some time ...

NOTHING HAPPENS !

My Instagram account was hacked recently Ihavw manage to change the password and all of that but it is requesting for 2 factor authentication code or backup code and I don't have it I really need your help 🙏

Space Bar will at random, stop working. I have tried Troubleshoot mode and works. then a day or two space bar stops working. I uninstalled and reinstalled and have the same issue. This does not happen on Edge, or Google. If I am doing online work, I don't use Firefox because of Space Bar issue. Please advise.

I am using Firefox 115.8.0esr version. I had previous userchrome.css from older versions of firefox from 5 years back which does not work anymore.

Need userchrome.css content for highlighting background color of bookmarks in dropdown.

Can you someone provide me with this userchrome.css snippet to high bookmarks with background color in URL dropdown box?

We have the latest Firefox standard installed on a Windows server. i can access and use the browser normally in one account but not the other. i have submitted the reports and would like to know if there is something I can do. the report id is 5c59acb1-daa7-4eb2-a173-7690394841d3.

Everything is working fine in the troubleshooting mode and I have also deleted and changed profiles but getting the same error.

We also don't have extensions and no plugins too. i did a refresh and this did not solve the issue.

I just changed my billing method for pocket premium and a message stated that my subscription was charged to the new credit card. I was already charged the subscription on a different card that I wanted removed from my account. Will this be refunded immediately?

I am getting spam daily from the same person but the different emails like from outlook, gmail but the message is always the same.

How can I block these messages from coming into my mail box,

is there an AI I can activate in thunderbird? or plugin I can add?

that checks the body of the emails message that are all the same and block them.

This is just disgusting. I have informed google and outlook but it will not stop the spammer from creating new emails on those services.

I have created many filters, and on the whole they work well. But I have one that doesn't work as I'd like it to. I have a friend with whom I correspond regularly, often with the words 'Lunch Club' in the subject line. My wife also corresponds with a (different) group and uses 'Lunch Club' in the subject line. I have set up a filter with the intention of filtering my friend's e-mails first, using his e-mail address (as in 'from contains friend's email'). There's a second filter that filters any subject line 'Lunch Club' into my wife's in-box. Unfortunately ALL 'Lunch Club' e-mails end up in my wife's in-box, including my friend's messages, even though his filter is run first. Having read through the article on setting filters, I begin to suspect that this may be intentional behaviour as described here (extract from Mozilla Support 'Organize Your Messages by Using Filters'): "Filters are executed in the order they appear in the list of filters, except when that order is not possible, in which case you will see the message Note: Filter actions will be run in a different order, and the link See execution order. If you click the link, you will see which order is used. For example: If you have a filter that moves a message to another folder, and then further down the list a filter that replies, the reply filter will not work because the message is gone from the folder. In this case, Thunderbird will change the order, so the reply filter will be executed before the move filter. " I don't recall ever having seen seen the link 'See execution order'. Is there a recognised way of avoiding this problem? Regards, Tim Dawson

I honestly don’t khow to describe this, but when I open YouTube, there’s a random chance for it to redirect me to the YouTube app and to add insult to injury, signs me out of the YouTube site on Firefox too… I have no idea how to fix this, I tried everything I could think of

So I am totally frustrated with the new Thunderbird update that changes the way threads work. When someone replies to you, there is no obvious way to see that that has happened. It used to show up as a new email, at the top, in bold, so you knew it was unread. Now it just shows up under the old email without any sort of notification that you have a new email. Any chance they are going to fix this? It's horrible!

My Thunderbird email is still showing my inbox and folders list as normal but is suddenly missing a click on to create and send a new outgoing message. I feel must have clicked on something by mistake which has removed the top line information (options etc.) but can't find a way of retrieving the situation. Help please!
