So I had to reset my PC last week , and hoped that the sync was running as expected to recover my bookmark and saved websites data , and no luck !

how can I get back my data !!! , I read all across the fourm and I haven't seen any direct answer to this sync issue!! can you please help in this!

As you can see in the title, Firefox crashes immediately opening, though sometimes it works for a few seconds. I have figured out that it works when I create a windows profile without any association to my Microsoft account, it does actually work, but as soon as I add the Microsoft account to the profile, it crashes. This also happens with Opera GX, but not Chrome.

I am trying to access 2 giff gaff accouns to change my pay in information[card going out of useable time] and need to be done during Sepember 2022. No matter what I try I cannot get on to their system. Is there some form of block in my firefox system that will not allow me - I am told I need to allow them, but I simply do not understand how? Where are Preferences and how do I access them?

I'm unable to check out when I'm signed into my accounts at target & clinique.com.Target say my checkout page is slowing down firefox-click stop -I click stop&I cannot check out.

So gmail is doing what it does best by blocking users who don't routinely sign in on their site. Right now I have lost access to 6 emails I use pretty much daily.

Does TB have any plans on tweeking the program so when someone using TB and has gmail accounts will actually be recognized by gmail as a legit sign-in? One would think gmail's system would treat a sign-in by TB the same as it does physically being on gmails site to sign-in...right? Apparently not.

Also, after the last update, TB is not handling gmail folders very well. I have to wait to see what I deleted, saved, etc..compared to before. It looks like TB is signing into gmail for each and every process instead of the one time per account? Why? This might explain why gmail keeps telling me "You have attempted to sign into your account too many times...please come back later" This is after one attempt to physically sign-in on each of these 6 accounts. Now they blocked sign-ins to all of them thinking I'm a hacker.

I'm not complaining, just trying to understand.

Hi -- I hope someone can help with this recent problem that has cropped up. Videos that are supposed to be autostart, such as news stories embedded on pages of news sites or video feeding into a side panel on a college sports site I frequent are just continually in buffer mode with the little spin icon in the middle of the screen. This also happens with some, but not all, YouTube videos.

This is a recent development and I didn't do anything to change my setup. I did try updating to make sure I have the most recent version of Firefox, so that's been accounted for. If I close out Firefox and come back to it after a couple of minutes, the problem is cleared, but it only lasts a little while before it begins once again.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Before you tell me this is not a Firefox issue - this option is disabled in my Google account. I closed the browser, rebooted the PC, yet this annoying pop up on every site I visit is driving me insane.

Is there anything in Firefox that I can update/change to make it stop?

i try to use firefox multiaccount container but it does not work. Better said if i add the add-on it does not show up in system bar (up in the right corner), but you can see it in the add-ons and themes setting menu. So there is only half of layout given but no function of it at all compairing to other persons using it, e.g. "how to use firefox multiaccount container tutorial videos" etc. Trying to handel the settings of it with the add-ons and themes menu does not help.

I use the firefox browser protable eddion for windows at my laptop and it seems to be that all settings are recent. As well it does not seem to be that i use there any privat tab where it does not work i guess?!

May someone can help me?

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

Thunderbird is not working - I signed into my old AOL account yesterday and AOL has taken over - I want Thunderbird not AOL as my default email provider and have set it as that, but it is still not working - help please!

Help! I have been stuck on 60.9.1. I tried to upgrade many years ago and lost all my past emails and folders. A search at the time said there was no way to get them back so I reinstalled 60 and have lived there ever since. A couple of weeks ago Google mail changed their security protocols and dropped POP and 60.9 apparently can not read IMAP. I love Thunderbird and would prefer to stay but I don't want to loose all my past emails and folders. So, I would like to upgrade to the latest stable version. Is there a path that won't dump my history? I have read many posts on here but still can't find the path to being current. Can I simply install the latest version or do I have to install in stages. If in stages what is the order of version to install and should I stop at each version to check/test something before moving to the next install?

I am in the process and think I have completed the process to open up the new Thunderbird access for my e mail. In the previous version I could close my e mail when I had finished writing and or reading/deleting e mails. In this current version I do not seem to see where I can close my e mail when I have finished. Any suggestions?

It appears that someone else is checking my emails before I do. I have been logged in twice this week to visabily see the emails that I see that are new become, "read", as I am looking at them.

Considering it happened yesterday before I received an email informing me that my storage unit was robbed it happened. Also, ALL of my emails are gone from the past 2 years. Two of them were threats. When I went to print it out..The emails had been replaced with a completely different email and it was marked as read. I actually never read the two. I saw the threats from the subject and did not open them.

What is going on?

Everytime I send something, my connection is timed out but other apps that require internet connection seems to be fine.

I have been using Firefox as my browser for as long as I can remember and yesterday it became semi-unresponsive (would not load). Then after restarting my computer and doing everything else I could think of - I got it to load and my previous session was restored. All the tabs were there . . . but none of them would respond. In CONTROL PANEL I even tried REFRESHING Mozilla Firefox short of Uninstalling. (That did nothing.) I tried downloading the latest version. It installed . . . , but, the old one is GONE. The new one DOESN'T WORK. In the search box it suggests youtube, facebook, etc. . . . NONE OF THEM WORK.

Thunderbird updated to ver 102.2.2 and now the background is black and text white. Under Settings, background is set to white and text black. Two other PCs updated and this issue did not occur
