I was using PC and a window popped up saying "allow Firefox to make changes" and I clicked allow! Shortly thereafter my PC froze and I had to power it down. Now Firefox looks completely different and all my bookmarks and links to everything is gone. Also all my saved email logins and information!

Please help me reverse this change, I hate it!! Betty Turner

Hello, after moving the thunderbird mail folder with my profile and after creating a new account, I am trying to load the migrated mail. The computer for a long time "had" the task and nothing happens. I'm sure I missed something, but I have no idea how to fix this situation. That's a lot of email, but I don't think that's the problem. Please help. I emphasize that I am a layman, so I will be grateful for factual and simple answers. And yes, I know it's very funny and the solution is probably simple. So thank you in advance for comments highlighting my ignorance. I humbly accept even these remarks. Have a nice day

I have recently become a Thunderbird user (115.5.0), and have linked it to my gmail account for email, calendar and contacts (and tasks, but that does not seem to be working).

My calendar within Thunderbird shows a recurring daily event which does not appear in my Google Calendar. I'm not sure how to resolve this issue.

You can see on the attached image, on the right is my google calendar which Thunderbird is supposed to be syncing with, on the left is the Thunderbird calendar, which has all these extra recurring events.

Any thoughts on how to fix this would be gratefully received.

Updating to latest Thunderbird 102.1.1. It wants me to create email addresses and passwords and set up accounts again. So cant get any emails with entering all of above again and then it creates new profile. So I loose my old profiles. This has happened a few times over the years with upgrades. As I am using 3 email addresses. I have duplicate folders which I cant retrieve emails from as per images and would like to retrieve emails from these. I tried repair profile option yet again as before but still no luck. See the folders which I cant access approx 5 per email address. Just showing 1 email folder for simplicity.

Using 115.5.2 and macos 13.6.3. Suddenly on or before 12/10/23 Thunderbird stopped sending email. Receiving continues to work. No changes to software recorded (either TB or OS. Have reset all parameters according to ISP (charter.net). Installed Mailspring and it send mail without issue using the same parameters. Have reinstalled TB. I have not discarded all TB files as I have huge archive of emails I cannot loose. Is/Are there specific setting files that I can reset without loosing data?

What have you done, Firefox? Where are my bookmarks? None of the help articles have helped me find them. No "Bookmarks Library" link, no bookmarks button on main page, no "Refresh" option anywhere that I can find....

Opened Firefox this morning around 11 a.m., opened up Firefox. A dialogue box I have never seen before appeared, insisting I set up a "profile". What profile? Why? Why no explanation of why I need a profile, and what the h.... is the difference between the two profiles offered?

When I finally chose "default" for profile (NO idea what that means!), I saw that all my settings are gone and most alarmingly, ALL my bookmarks. HOW do I retrieve them?

I am using a laptop Dell with Windows 10, 64-bit....what else do you need to know?

Really upset with this. Also upset with how difficult it is to find immediate help for Firefox.

the event time selected during event creation has the 24 hrs format I want, but the calendar after it has been created shows it with 12 hrs format - see the uploaded image: is there any way to fix it?

I'm running Thunderbird 102, 64 bit, fresh installation (not upgrade) on Win 10.

I have tried Firefox supernova since October 10, 2023 bur encounter to many problems. Sometimes an email has a full page with error messages which I don't understand. I have been working in IT since 1960 at IBM but last year I had a bike incident and had a concussion for a year and forced me to teach myself to work with a desktop. Now I am backat last that I can use my competer again but Supernova is too unstable for me and I want to go back to Thunderbird old style. How can I install the Old Style Thunderbird again.
