How do I get rid of the ludicrous amount of vertical padding in my menus?
The FF89-90 workarounds no longer work.
userChrome.css coding doesn't work.
Surely somebody creative can find a way to overcome such deliberate stupidity.
Since the Firefox designers obviously don't care what users have to say, I'll forego the well deserved feedback on their design philosophy.

Does anyone know how to make the drop-down versions single-spaced? I've tried using about:config and then changing browser.proton.contextmenus.enabled to false, but that doesn't seem to work in the new version? Really appreciate any help, the double spacing is annoying.
After update 91 in settings tick boxes dont have ticks anymore.
Why in the world is this happening? See pic attached.

Firefox has crashed my Win 7 (64) Ultimate by maxing out my 22GB RAM for a few weeks now; Chrome has zero issues. What is the excuse? There is no reason why open tabs in the background should be consuming resources, especially even after closing them, yet the Firefox browser is a memory hog beyond reasonable explanations. My RAM is working properly, and I have virtual memory as well which apparently makes no difference in this issue.
The suspicion is growing, that Ffox is doing something but I can't figure out what. When I had only 8GB RAM in the same PC the issue never came up, so I would appreciate it if posters not working in IT would refrain from adding foolish comments, like this is normal, expected, etc. If I were using high end photo editing software at the same time as audio engineering editing, I could expect this to be an issue. Running a browser to view online info should require a fraction of that kind of memory. What gives? Past postings indicate this is not a new issue, yet responses show little real info of merit in addressing what appears to be a pervasive problem.
I need a list of the Pocket "trusted publications".

Hello, Since today, after a new update, when I open Firefox, it displays as a mobile. As you can see on the picture it believes it is full screen. When I try to switch to full screen either by using the button or double clicking the top bar, it then just changes position across my screen, I have to do it again and only then it accepts to fit my windows, it's super annoying. I don't have any entry with useragent changed in my about:config. Thanks in advance.

Since the latest update a lot has changed in firefox, most notably the new "floaty" tabs to make it more look like chrome... thanks but no thanks.
But a more serious issue is, in the settings, the checkboxes are not visible anymore. Well, the boxes are but i can not determine whether the options are checked or not. (see attached image)
I already tried: - Safe mode (same issue) - Windows dark/light mode (both fail to display checks) - Enabling/disabling add-ons (same issue) - Reinstalling firefox

When using eBay UK, certain features, e.g drop down menus and tabs don't work. I have noted the same issue on other sites also. My browser is up to date and I have cleared history, cookies, cache etc which has not helped the issues. These issues are only present on firefox, the sites work normally on other browsers.
White instead of black background, 'boxes' around text, buttons not showing, etc. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi, I'm working with Firefox 91.0 (64bit). The newest update has changed something, that I need to change back:
When I klick on "bookmarks", the space between the bookmarks is much bigger than before, nearly double. Same thing, when I rightclick on an image etc. for download: much bigger space between the lines for choosing.
I've been told this can be changed in about:config, but I don't know what to do there and I also don't dare to change anything there without knowing exactly what to do.
Can you help me? Thanks a lot!

this happens to me now and then and it is maddening. i just had to set up a new email account and password, and used the built in password saver feature in firefox, with usually is very good for this. but this time [and it has happened before] it did not have my email under the username field, so i was adding that and then suddenly the box vanished entirely. checking under my passwords, it was not saved at all. so now i am already locked out of my new email address i just made, it requires 2 step verification by default which was not set up yet. this system needs to be less accident prone than this so the end user can actually finish typing in their data and actually given the opportunity to save it.
