I have a web site I want up 24/7, but if the site goes down Firefox will not reload. Instead I get the message "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading." How can I get Firefox to reload?

I want a FaceBook "Zoo World" web page up 24/7 but it sometimes goes down. Instead of automatically reloading the page Firefox gives me the message "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading." Why? How can I get Firefox to reload the page when it goes down?

Wanted to find my own question by scrolling through questions posted to Firefox Support Forum. Selected "by date" (or similar) button but found a jumble of posting dates from April 21 to (for example) June 2010 and back again. Firefox seems to be getting huge numbers of queries and it's difficult to find one's way.

I am trying to update firefox. My husband, when trying to reset Firefox to default, loaded Firefox 3.5.5 back on. I previously had updated to 5.0.1 I believe. Anyhow, now wont let me update ... keeps saying I need to reboot computer to update or something. Wont let me update except to 3.6.18, then tells me there are no other updates. What should I do now?

HELP please! I have installed the Firefox Browser Upgrade 6.0.2 at least 8 times. It appears to install fine. But when I go back on the browser, it says I am still using the old version.

I have also tried iinstalling while my camera is unplugged (Logitech); with my firewall blocked; After re-starting; & still no luck! The details are as above. … (read more)

There are several of the same version that have downloaded and I see them on this listing. They are doing something but I think never get to where they should be. When I start firefox I get the same old message that I am using an old version and downloading a new version just takes minutes. So much for minutes! Your stupid download cannot tell time! I have been at this for over an hour!!! Please send me detailed instructions for an apple computer.

How to get it to stop blinking and load the new version????? (BTW, it's really hard to find how to ask a question let alone just have a phone number!!!!)

The only reason I keep using Internet Explorer is because Firefox doesn't allow you to push shift+enter when typing in an adress that's in your history. Please change this.

In Internet Explorer when you start typing in a web page address, it pops up with history and lets you push shift+enter to go to that page, rather than finish typing the address. I use this all the time and that is the reason why I don't use firefox all the time. Please change this.
