Stop blocking account access to sites your system knows that I have been accessing for about a decade.

Since upgrading to win 11 & Firefox 145.0, have been periodically been blocked access to HI5/Tagged. Yesterday was able to access through messages received from site. Today am again blocked,

I only get that damn "JSON, Raw Headers, Data" screen when I try to go to gamestop's website. HOW do I fix this? This is only the latest in a long string of stuff your browser does badly, and if not for the fact you are the only browser Youtube cannot block ad blockers on, I would have tossed your browser a long time ago.

I have a rather strange problem and I'm not sure this is the right topic. I generally use my computer on and off all day and I never lock it until the evening when I turn it off. I went out for several hours today and when I came back there was a new version of Firefox installed. When I opened Firefox I realized it was a new version because it would not let me logon until I had completed a profile. My old version never did this. In addition all of my saved passwords had disappeared as well as my bookmarks. I'm using a Dell laptop running Win 11, about 2 years old. I don't understand how this could happen. There was no one here while I was out. I looked to see if there was a saved profile but only the one in use showed up. The current version appears to be 145.0.1. One thing that might have something to do with it. I might have been asked yesterday if I wanted to synch firefox on my computers but I'm not sure how I answered this (I'm almost 90 and my memory is a bit imperfect).

I do have Firefox on a second desktop which is running Win 10. Is it possible to use that profile. That computer has not been turned on since this happebd and is currently asleep. Any help or suggestions will really be appreciated!

Hello, I really love the translate functionality. In some pages I see very specific terms which are very specific, can I modify the local dictionary after I download it, add the terms somehow and then share it with my peers using the same website?

At least once a day since Version 145 dropped Firefox has told me I need to restart to update. When I do, it shows a pop up telling my I am opening an older version of Firefox and need to create a new profile to avoid corrupting my data. Daily, sometimes twice a day I have to go in and switch profiles back to the profile that has all of my book marks. Every computer in our office has this issue now. One of them deleted a profile without prompting, and it is not even in the appdata folder with "deleteme" in front of it. It is just gone. The last update had tabs crash daily. Is there any hope of stopping the second broken update in a row from wasting my time fixing it every day?

For some reason, the Menu Bar kept coming up, even after I disabled it. I tired a few about:config things, the one that seemed to work was to disable the ALT key. But I still can't click anything in a game with my mouse while firefox is open. I have two monitors. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I've looked around the internet and I can't seem to find my exact problem. Please, please help!

My settings: Downloads: save files to: [custom default folder, unimportant] Always ask you where to save files: ENABLED

Applications: PDFs: Open In Firefox (because when the browser has such a nice built-in pdf viewer of course I would like to use it)

Expected behavior: Browser will open the dialog box for where to save the pdf, save the pdf, then open it in the in-browser viewer from the location it just saved to. Or possibly: save the file to TEMP and then open it in browser, I can see the argument for that behavior, though it wouldn't be my first instinct.

Actual behavior: Browser blindly saves the pdf to the specified default folder, then opens it in the in-browser viewer.

What is the actual point of the ALWAYS ask checkbox here? From what I can find extant on the forums the devs somehow don't seem to consider this a bug, so does anyone know how to wrangle the config page and/or some kind of extension into producing the actual logical behavior for these settings?

i want to know why firefox extension reporting requires the user to check a box near text that says that the user is telling the 'complete' and 'accurate' truth. that's impossible for a human. it's also cruel and unusual. why does mozilla apparently assume that every user is a judge and a lawyer in the united states who is also God? it doesnt make any sense. For some reason, I cannot access any links imbedded in my favorite browser sites. I don't have enough knowledge to put into words what I'm asking but I'd like to be able to click on a newsletter or a article on a websitye. The messages is always "cannot access this site (or link). Any suggestions?

See the attached image: I have sub-folders Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menu, and Other Bookmarks all within a folder called All Bookmarks. The first two are empty, every single one of my bookmarks is in the Other Bookmarks sub-folder. I can't delete any of these folders. On which planet does this make sense?

The "All Bookmarks" super-folder should have all the folders in the Other Bookmarks sub-folder and it's three current children should all be send to an orphanage.

Any way to accomplish this? Obviously the folder names are unimportant (At least to me).
