i have been using thurnderbird for years great and thanks i am getting inbox ok but to send i am getting this message now...Login to acc 'mail.shaw.ca failed log in to server mail with user name

 when i go directly to shaw i can get and send emails ok  but what do i need to do to send eamils from my thunderbird?

Website for DIRECTV is not loading in Firefox on my laptop. It does load in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I did not have this issue before. My VPN is off.

response to jonzn4SUSE, because on my desk top, it won't install, because my computer chip is too old, when I get to the point of clicking on finish, when clicking on finish, it disappears, supposedly this chip is a better chip than the one I need to install it, but it's older than the one which is the minimum needed to do the install, even took it to the repair shop, I had read that sometimes if an older version of waterfox is on a computer it won't install, by the time I got it back from the shop everything with waterfox was gone, including bookmarks etc., none it was saved, some of the things I could import from my other browsers, one thing I don't like about waterfox is there isn't any way to export those things to other browsers, even when going to firefox or any other browsers, when clicking on import from other browsers, waterfox isn't on the list, also on my laptop, has an intel chip, maybe older than the one on desk top, when 1st installed it, it worked, the next time I tried to use it it wouldn't open, don't use lap top very often, usually only when desk top is in the shop on desk top, even tried to install it in safe mode, after I got it back from the repair shop, is when I found out about the chip being too old Operating System       Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU       AMD Phenom II X4 955          Deneb 45nm Technology RAM       16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28) Motherboard       Gigabyte Technology Co. I use Firefox as my browser but since yesterday I am unable to use it. Each time I click on the firefox icon I am directed to a French Microsoft browser - are you able to help?

Firefox often display messages at the lower right corners - only from selected sites.

It drives my crazy - because I have to click on each and ervy one.

How can I select the sites which are displayed or can I shut them off all together ?!?

Goodd day from UK I run firefox esr 115.9.1 and find the the F5 refresh key does NOT refresh the images. The same applies when using the "reload" icon in the menu.

Reading other posts, nothing seems to apply here.

There are NO add-ons at all and everything is cleared on close. The text DOES seem to change.

As a web developer checking updates this is extremely annoying as only hope is keep closing the browser (to clear everything) and restart - the loads new images etc.

I use several versions of Firefox (2, 20, 56) to ensure compatability with olf browsers and it seems to be only those over 100 with this issue.

Does anyone know if this is a "feature" or a"bug" and is there any simple (!) way around the issue?

I have about 99 entries saved at the present time in the Firefox Passwords Manager.

I would love to store these in different folders if possible--bill pay, medical, social networking, for instance.

Is such as feature available?

I thought of getting a free password manager such as proton and move most of the password entries into it, leaving the most important ones under the Firefox Passwords Manager.

Proton asks for permission to access all my websites. I understand that this may be necessary in order to save passwords. However, this makes me nervous. If I give this permission, will they be able to access my financial data when I access my brokerage? Will ad blockers be able to access my financial data?

Accidentally closed browser with many multiple tabs open. Tried to restore history but option was grayed out. Tried several times but was not able to get back to the original browsing window with the multiple open tabs.

Would really appreciate help on this, if possible, as the many multiple tabs contained family history research that will be difficult to impossible to duplicate.

How do I do this? Cox Communications is divesting itself of Email. Thunderbird is my client for my Cox email. It appears Cox has a data package which I need to import to Thunderbird or Mozilla and i need advice on how to do this? I am at wits-end on this issue, I would like to keep chaz4@ cox.net and ocal9@cox.net or switch them to mozilla.org or at least for a while forward them to chask14@yahoo.com. But if non of these things are possible, I guess I will have to stop using either email address. If you are a Human and not a machine, please send your response to chask14@yahoo.com as chaz4@cox.net may not be working anymore.
