I recently (a week or two ago) updated my Thunderbird mailer to version 132.0.2, and it ran fine. Then two days ago I updated the MacOS on my 2018nMacBook Pro laptop from 15.1.0 to 15.1.1. Now Thunderbird crashes when I attempt to open it.

I have a several weeks old "time machine" backup that I could roll everything back to, but prefer not to lose the work I've done in the intervening time.

Suggestions?

I have gone in several times to update my address, but each time I have been prompted to restart my computer. therefore there is an update that is not ready .this happens every time .. and i can't move forward .. Hello, I can’t configure my mail account on Thunderbird because I still have the same error message: Connection failed from imap.bbox.fr server with tobidm username. I don’t understand because I use the same email and password. Is it because of imap? is it because of smtp? Because of this, I can’t read my emails anywhere but on the access provider’s website. Impossible on thunderbird or on my phone. Please help me.

My extensions are not showing up in the firefox browser, on menu bar, tool bar, or bookmarks bar. I am elderly and NOT computer literate. What to do? Using Windows 10.

After running the download to install Thunderbird, which gave no error messages, when I try to run Thunderbird it can't find its profile. What do I do next to find the profile, or create a new profile? What is the name of the profile?

Hi. I am trying to import into my new Mac an old Thunderbird profile that was created in a PC, but that I use in my previous Mac. In the past, I have dragged the old profile into the new profile folder, and then used About Profiles under Troubleshooting Information to link to that imported profile and set it as the Default. Now, I click on Create a New Profile and it won't let me link. Also, the Import tool did not work. What am I missing? Thank you!

I have had problems with virus programs and repairs. First I got blue screen took it to Best Buy they totally screwed it up. When I got it back they lost my D drive and totally changed the personally of the computer. I could not longer access Firefox with the code and they lost all my bookmarks. I managed to get some of the bookmarks with an older version of Firefox however, I want to use a newer version but apparently I can't take my bookmarks with me in addition I have an old Firefox file on my C drive but can't copy bookmarks without losing the bookmarks I already have installed. To try and put it simply, I want to go to new version of Firefox and take both sets of my bookmarks

i have a discontinued mint 19 and cant up grade to 20 because my lap top wont support the new version so help has been discontinued and I need to up grade my Firefox to the newer version!

I have installed Malware protection onto my laptop and it has been interfering constantly by popping up with a Browser Guide I cannot remove and they advise me to go through my Browser FireFox to have it removed.

My computer does not support the latest firefox software update so i was wondering if you can send me me the firefox 115.0 version firefox softare? I tried to search for it online but i wasn't able to find any because the software i have for firefox now won't let me open some pages on websites because i have a old version firefox software. I purchased a new PC and had someone transfer the files from the old PC to the new one. Thunderbird came over with the exception of the sub folders that contain all of my saved emails by catagory. How can I get everything transferred to my new PC?

How many impab files should I have in my Thunderbird profile folder? I do have 8 different e-mails managed by Thunderbird (in case that matters). Win 10 Pro PC, Thunderbird Version 128.4.2esr. I have impab.mab (dated 2017), impab.mab.msf (dated 2012), then I have impab-1.sqlite, impab-1.sqlite.shm, impab-1.sqlite.wal -- then I have -2, -3, -4, -5. and -6 of the same three files that have the -1. Should I/can I delete any of these? Should any be kept and renamed? The ones with -1 through -16 are all dated either today (11/25/2024) or 11/19/2024. Just did not know if there were a bunch of duplicate files being created, or if possibly all of these files are needed because of my multiple accounts. All my accounts use the same address book. Also, been using Thunderbird since I started on the internet back in the 1990s - it's in general a fantastic program.
