I'm using firefox sync with an own sync server.

Since a few weeks the synchronization of tabs doesn't work right. I use five devices. On my Macbook, the iPhone and the iPad mini I can see and reach the tab-sync of these three devices.

On another iPad and an Linux-PC, wich I added at last, I can see the tab-sync of all five devices.

How can I force the first three devices to sync the tabs of all five devices? I did alread several steps of testing and trying, like manual synchronization or remove and adding again all devices to the account.

I use Firefox on 3 devices: - a PC at home (Win 10, FF standard instalation), - an Android phone (Xiaomi Mi 9T) - a PC at work (Win7) with the Firefox portable version.

I have the latest, stable, up-to-date versions of Firefox on all my devices.

The problem is when I save a bookmark on one of the computers at work or at home, and then the devices synchronize. Bookmarks between computers do not remember their position in the bookmark folders and are saved in the main folder.

I have already performed all the steps based on the instructions in this article, but the problem persists. ([https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1270667])

So Firefox updated this morning and when I went to look for the Inspector under the Web Developer Tools, it is no longer there. I use this tool all the time and came to count on it. What are my options and is it still available?

Hi, i'm from belgium. Since a week i try to connect to the e-services of the belgian government with cardreader and Eid (electronic identity). i re-installed successfully many times the software. The testing of the cardreader and Eid were ok. Still it is impossible to connect. I never had problems in the past to connect, why now ? what has changed ? It is rather urgent, because of the ultime deadline (yet passed!!). Can anyons help me ? Thanks.

I use Firefox for a long time but the removal of a very usefull option as "print to pdf" last year (2020), is a real pain. The retrieval of this feature has been promised then, but nearly zone year after that, there is nothing (V73) So I move now to chromium (more precisely to Bromite) But if you can tell us as son as this feature is back, it would be with pleasure!

I have noticed that if I leave an empty firefox tab open after sometime the empty tab somehow would start using a large amount of RAM. I don't know if it is expected behaviour or not. I came to know about this problem as I use a laptop and I very rarely put it to sleep, so my laptop would idle out on charging with a empty firefox tab open and it would start out with consuming reasonable amount of RAM but after I return mabye after 20 minutes and the RAM usage would skyrocket to about a gig for only firefox with that empty tab. I do have 4 add-ons installed but firefox behaves the same when I restart it in safe mode. Any help is very much appreciated.

I have souscrive mozilla vpn but not satisfied...stop 10 days after. I have paie....never be rem I subscribed to Mozilla VPN for 1 year ... resilié after 10 days (during the test period). After 2 months I am still not refunded. Can not attach the Mozilla customer service. This is theft.

Hallo, habe ein Problem meine alten Lesezeichen auf meinem neuen Laptop ein zu binden. Kann auf dem alten PC die Sicherung nicht mehr machen, da dieser gecrasht ist. Komme aber an die Daten von der Festplatte. Habe mehrmals versucht die places.sqlite, Bookmarks und all die andern Daten, nach Anleitung vom Internet in meinen neuen PC ein zu spielen. Leider ohne Erfolg. Gibt es hier ein Problem mit Win 7 32bit(alt) zu Win10 64bit(neu). Über Tips und Anregungen wäre ich Dankbar.

Hi So my problem started a few days ago i don't remember exactly when. The graphs on the binance exchange site have stopped updating for me on Firefox. I mean when i load the page with the graph in it the graph is static and i have to keep refreshing the entire page to see changes in the graph. I should mention that the graphs on a different site that i use work fine and display the prices in real time.

I also had microsoft edge and the same problem happens there too but today i installed chrome and the problem in NOT present there. So the site and graphs update and work properly in chrome but not in Firefox or edge. I prefer to use Firefox for everything!

-I tried Firefox safe mode and the problem is still there. -I also made a new Firefox profile and the problem is still there. -Finally i even refreshed Firefox but even that didnt fix the problem. I should mention that i have Firefox sync enabled so after i refreshed Firefox it automatically installed back all my addons (and other settings?) so even though it is refreshed it looks and behaves exactly like before i don't know if that "cancels" the effects of the refresh.

I am running win10 and my antivirus is kaspersky. I had Kaspesky on "pause protection" while i was troubleshooting but that didnt help either. I hope i managed to explain everything because i find it hard to express my self in English. If you need me to clarify anything let me know. I hope someone can help me with this because I don't know what else to try.

Hello, i set up 2 step verification on my Firefox account (using Authenticator application), but not possible to connect Authenticator app with Firefox account scanning QR code...

So one day Firefox just stopped responding, it started responding again, but now it just randomly stops and then starts again a few seconds later. Bitdefender detects no viruses and I tried disabling all extentions and addons. I have an Intel Core i9-10900K, an RTX 2070 SUPER, and 32GB of RAM, so that isn't the problem, but I did observe that when it stops responding, logical processors 2, 12, 14, and 15 spike in usage.

after an internet session I'm using the "Clear Recent History" (STRG+SHIFT+Delete) function. Sometimes this window doesn't close automatically, when I'm click the OK-Button.

Is this a BUG?

Hi, I've been using the Mozilla Firefox browser for a while now and I have noticed that i can not use my microphone to speak anywhere. For example, I can't speak what I want to say on Google Translate, & I can't talk in voice chats on Discord (random examples). It always says that voice input is not supported. May I know why your browser doesn't support voice input?

At the top of the about:preferences page, in a gray box, it says, "Your browser is being managed by your organization". Why? This is my home computer! How can I manage my own browser?

This just started occurring on my PC when I use Firefox: why is the background of the address bar orange/yellow with diagonal stripes and there is a robot at the start of the web address? I'm concerned it may be a virus or the web browser is being remotely monitored.

Apologies for asking this here, but I've done the Google and can't find an answer.

Background: I keep 2-3 Firefox versions and profiles on my computer. The software is in, for example, directories FFox82, FFox84, FFox86 The profiles are in, for example, directories Firefox82, Firefox84, Firefox86 (The software and profiles are on different drives.)

When I do an upgrade, I copy the newest software to a new directory and rename it (e.g., FFox92 - so now there are 4 sw directories) Then I copy the newest profile directory and give it a corresponding name (e.g., Firefox92 - so now there are 4 profile directories). I install the new version to its directory and thenlaunch with a -p option. Then I create a new profile and point it to the corresponding folder. Then I launch the new version with the -p option pointing to the new profile directory.

This has worked for decades.

But I just tried it with Firefox 90 and Firefox 92 and NO GO. It acts as if I've never used Firefox before. No apps, no toolbars, no bookmarks, nothing.

What is going on? Am I stuck on Firefox86 for the rest of the century?

And, please, don't tell me how wonderful these new versions are and I should simply accept the change. I have a virtual lifetime invested in the toolbars, extensions and bookmarks on my computer.

I simply want to know if there is a fix and, if so, what it is.

Since most content is in English and search engines always link to the English version, I usually browse the english version of mozilla pages. But here on support in particular I have to contend with the pathetic date format where you can't tell which is day or month or year. So why can't I find a way to set the date format. Even the majority of tiny websites/forums have an option to specify the date format.

Under what circumstance is signing in to my Mozilla account on a previously signed in device that got signed out because of updating the browser considered a security threat even though I'm using the right login password and two step authentication code sent to my mail correctly. It sucks if simple authentication keeps getting aborted upon providing all security credentials.
