Hi,

I have Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird on my 'work' laptop. Firefox keeps asking for me to link other accounts. I have a personal aol email address. However, when I enter to sync my personal email with my work email, it says, 'Account Already Exists'. Yes, it exists since it is mine!

How do I get this fixed?

Hi,

When i try to open the page https://accounts.firefox.com to login in order to setup sync on my browser (Firefox 78.6.1 ESR x86_64 on RHEL 8) it doesn't load (please see attachment picture).

Any idea what can be the problem?

I am trying to fix a situation on my parents computer that uses Firefox. We had to uninstall Firefox, reboot and reinstall the Firefox browser. After doing this I expected to be able to "Login" using her email and password, she had lost her password so I assumed there would be a "forgot password" link available to recover it. Instead this was not an option, after entering email it went straight to an option to enter a new password. There does not appear to be a point to recover a lost password, or to enter it in a new login after doing a new install. I found some tips while doing a Google search that instructed to click on the user icon in the toolbar and a reset would be there but that was not available either. Any suggestions.

Tried signing in to firefox sync and account got locked with the following message, "The confirmation email we sent to <my email-id>@gmail.com was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data."

My email works fine and I could use it to login and ask this question. Please help

When I try to send a tab from Firefox Android to PC, everything is instant. If I try to send from PC to mobile, the tab with never come if I don't manually sync the account from the mobile device.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or I need to tweak a system setting, but Firefox Android will never receive the tab if I won't manually sync the android device.

Hi, I am signed in on 2 pc's and an android phone (Galaxy note 8). The pc's sync between them just fine but the phone won't. While I can send tabs between the phone and the pc's since the last update I cannot sync any items at all on the phone.

a. On the phone the "last synchronized" line shows "never". b. All options to select synchronization items are grey and cannot be selected. c. Tapping the sync symbol does not do anything.

I tried: 1. Signing in and out on all devices. 2. Restarting all devices. 3. Forcing sync on all devices.

I do not want to lose my phone history or bookmarks and do not want to uninstall the app. This also means I cannot revert to an older version as that would delete the history and bookmarks.

I have tried logging in on a different phone with firefox V61 and had no issues with the sync.

I am trying to setup an account and when I tried to do this it said the verification email was returned and locked the account. I have verified the email account works and it receives external emails, but I keep getting the message that the account is locked and if the email is valid to "let us know". Who and how do I let them know and get the account unlocked?

I would like to ask if there is any solution. I changed my password two weeks ago and forget to write it on paper. Suddenly I reinstall my windows. Also I can´t loggin into mozilla account, so today I change my password again. Finally I logged in, but there weren´t any passwords or bookmarks, which I used to have there. How can I recover them?

Im having some serious problems with firefox. I have saved the %APPDATA% folder.

I cannot login to mozilla servers for firefox sync and whenever I close firefox it would only remember the tabs and windows I opened the previous day; not today's tabs. It runs for over 1 hour saying it's working on sync.

When I login after reinstalling firefox all my tabs are removed and cannot get sync data. How do I fix this without removing my windows and tabs (have over 100 open). I want to keep all history and tab data. Also tried cleaning cookies and cache data; no luck.

It looks like I have been having sync problems for a week, based upon my logfiles; but it was only today it stopped restoring new tabs and windows (old ones work).
