I just found out the hard way that trying to add troubleshooting information to a question can cause one to lose whatever was written as clicking "try these manual steps"… (read more)
I just found out the hard way that trying to add troubleshooting information to a question can cause one to lose whatever was written as clicking "try these manual steps" opens in the same tab and erases everything one has written.
"Troubleshooting Information (optional): We can't automatically get your browser's troubleshooting data, please try these manual steps."
Please add a note that clicking on "try these manual steps" will cause you to lose everything you have typed in previously - so right click and click "Open link in new tab"

This was the only browser I could meaningfully use without the encroaching enshittification of the Internet affecting it. I guess I need to find another now.
