Hi,

I host a autodiscover config (config-v1.1.xml) on my local mailserver, when I want to add my local mail account to thunderbird it sees the configuration, but throws an error:

Configuration found This configuration is not trusted.

I host a local CA, and have imported the CA root certificate into the android certificate store. But I don't think this is the problem, because Thunderbird doesn't connect to my imap server prior to throwing the error. (this is working, I can browse the local link without any certificate warning)

This is my config-v1.1.xml:

I've tried changing "authentication" to other methods, but this doesn't seem to matter.

Any Idea?

With my Pixel 9a Android 16, I installed TB Android mobile by the export/QR code method. The settings were imported into the phone from my desktop, Win 11 TB version 147.0.1 and yahoo.com for my email service. I went through setup successfully, however, when I tried to sign in I receive an error: Oauth sign in failed. Oauth is currently not supported with this provider. Retry does not solve the problem. On my phone the settings are: Server is: pop.mail.yahoo.com Security SSL/TLS Port 995 Oauth 2.0 my user name @yahoo.ca These are the server settings on my desktop as well. Next step in the setup is to "Sign In". I immediately get the "Oauth not supported with this provider" error. I tried IMAP, same error. Under Oauth 2.0 there a pull down menu with: Normal password, Encrypted password or Client certificate. I'm not sure what these options are or if I can use them, ie with my Yahoo mail id and pwd. I tried IMAP server and got the same error. I'm hoping that someone can advise me as to how I get past this Oauth 2.0 error and finish installing Thunderbird for Android. Thank you

Hi, I have an issue with the Android mobile versionof Thunderbird (16.1). I cannot open PDF sent to me, neither through clicking it in the app, nor by downloading it and open it with other applications. The PDFs themself must bei ok, cause I can open them on desktop. Also I don't have issues with opening PDF reaching me by other sources. My os is Android 15. Do you have a fix for it or do I have to wait till it's fixed by a patch? Kind regards

I'm using the Thunderbird Android App and I would like to highlight incoming messages from a specific sender and ideally receive a push notification. I would also like to increase the interval for checking/updating my email account linked to Thunderbird. How do I do this?

1) There is a layout problem in the accounts display on the left hand side, where the email addresses are sometimes obscured by the titles of the pages (see screenshot). 2) Also, is it possible to adjust the labels of so that they reflect the initials of two-word titles? So Websites Wanted would be WW, not WE, and Prague Story PS, not PR? Or even upload avatars instead of lettered labels? Thanks!

Is it possible to make Thunderbird make better use of screen realestate on large devices such as tablets?

In my opinion it should be possible to get a view that is more similar to the desktop version, where the content is laid out in 3 columns:

1. List of accounts and mailboxes
2. List of messages in the selected folder/mailbox
3. The email/message that has been selected.

See attached for what it looks like in the gmail app, for comparison. On Gmail they only have two columns, but even on there it's making effective use of the space.

Emails with a "To: undisclosed-recipients:;" header show no recipient information in the app, just as if there was no "To" header. Wouldn’t it be useful to display something to distinguish the two use-casesA?

Tbird (v16. 1) for android installed on my Pixel 9a connected to my gmail account. Gmail client runs perfectly connected to same account while Tbird starts with a blank screen i.e no messages. App appears to be frozen but later displays messages. General operation seems sluggish - enough to turn me back to the Gmail client (which I don't like) but at least I can navigate my email without waiting. Any suggestions please?

Thunderbird for Android: When sending a message, the copy moved to the Sent folder is not marked as "read" after moving. Messages sent from the Android client and subsequently auto-filed into "Sent" or "Sent Mail" are still marked as "unread" after the move. They should be marked as "read" as part of the move, just like with the Windows client. I've searched the various Settings and I can't find any related setting.

Hello I used to have an alias email from mailbox.org set up in Thunderbird and it operated just like a normal email however this seems to not be working now and I'm wondering if anybody knows how to maket this happen it was so useful.

This issue is both for desktop and Android.

How to add custom filters in Thunderbird for Android. In the desktop version, I can add custom filters for each account. This is not possible in the Android version. How can I solve this problem?
