When I try to access a certain website I get the following message "The (name of company) website is currently unavailable due to system maintenance." I confirmed with the company that their website is working. I cleared the Firefox cache and history. I did a Firefox refresh. I tried accessing website with another browser and it worked fine. I tried restarting my computer. Still Firefox not working for that one website. What is the solution to fix this issue?

From one day to the next, the error message "The retrieval of the mail from the mail server has timed out" appears when the mail is retrieved. I would like to add that no changes were made to programs or new installations. Thunderbird worked perfectly for 5 years. Where is the mistake? I ask for help. Thank you in advance. Best regards

This is a thank you follow-up to my yesterdays' post starting with; "firefox version 89 is insanely slow with no explanation had to try reset...." I can't find my msg from yesterday started with this, but wanted to thank you all for fixing Everything - Overnight! I am So glad I waited to, "system restore," until today bec it(MSs' OS) gave warning it might not restore All of the elements correctly. Thank you for your hard work and just appreciating how essential the browsers' Working is to our lives. It is. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :) (I'm now thinking I should maybe put my updates on "notify me first /let me download when ready"...but I'm not really sure if that would accomplish anything because I'd still have to download them to see if there were problem/s that effected My devise in particular. Community posts don't tell you that - or what to do. Pop-up status msgs would be appreciated.. if you'd have time...even if not all knowing...just to know some are aware of X issue...working on it...estimated back up time... whether we could/should do a "system restore" & wait until further notice to DL again. But I guess our issues are what you need to see to fix them...But I digress. Thank you again for working hard to store functionality. I needed something right to happen in my life - someone to be an expert at what they do. Thanks for your humanity.

Profile pages either do not, or only momentarily, show the text content of profiles (bios) or work history before disappearing.
I am running Windows 10 on an HP ZBook mobile workstation with Firefox 89.0 (64bit) and HP Sure Click Secure Browsing. I have cleared all cache and cookies. The result is the same. No change.

I have been trying to access Coursera on Firefox browser but I am getting a unsecure connection whenever I open Coursera. ( A yellow hazard icon on the lock icon). I opened Coursera on Firefox on two different devices but both have the same problem. I do not encounter this problem on Google Chrome.

WidevineCdm plugin is crashing when I try to play videos on Netflix, Hulu, and Peacock. In the browser, Firefox 78.10.0esr on my Mac 10.9. A yellow strip at the top explains that the plugin crashed and asks me to send a report, which I do and asks me to restart the browser, which I do. Nothing works. I tried "safe mode." I tried clearing caches and what not. I think the browser was just updated today. I am totally unable to play videos on those web pages previous mentioned. I am able to watch youtube, however.

I have an email account on yahoo/att. Several hours ago, I became unable to access this account via several of the apps/platforms I use, including Thunderbird. (The others were an ios ipad, and an android phone). i could still access directly through yahoo.com (using Firefox browser.) Eventually, I got the others to work, but it would still not allow Thunderbird to login (address and password were correct) either to in-bound or out-bound servers.
In the process of trying to fix this, I thought it might be a good idea if I deleted that address from my thunderbird accounts, and re-added. Now, it appears that I have also lost ALL my saved and archived emails which I had stored here--is there any way to recover them?

Hallo, ich habe ein riesen Problem. Ich habe vor ca 3Monaten Firefox installiert. Zu Beginn lief alles normal, bis das Problem auftrat, das sämtliche erhaltenen Emails im Posteingang aufeinmal verschwunden waren. Beispiel: ich habe letztens, nach dem Wochenende, meinen Email-Account geöffnet und hatte 61 neue Nachrichten. Ich habe eine wichtige Nachricht geöffnet und sie direkt beantwortet. nachdem ich wieder zurück zum Posteingang bin waren alle anderen ungelesenen Nachrichten verschwunden...der Posteingang war auf 0. Dieses Problem tritt mittlerweile jedes Mal auf. Somit sind alle Nachrichten seit den letzten Wochen für mich nicht einsehbar. Bitte helfen sie mir diese Problem zu beheben. Ich habe natürlich zusätzlich das Problem das wenn ich nun eine Email vom Support erhalte diese ebenfalls wieder gelöscht werden könnte bevor ich sie öffnen kann. Firefox just automatically updated on a restart on my mac and now none of my security extensions that WERE WORKING PERFECTLY such a s Adblocker Plus can be turned back on. After 1 hour of frsutration and searching for answers, I am ready to dump what used to be my favorite browser. Anyone else have a solution for this? Thanks in advance.
