I want to block some specific websites from force-opening from a game app I use. The app uses ads to make its money. I accept that ads exposure within the app is the price I pay for playing the game , but object to the ads force-opening windows separately in my browser. Can I block them?

Hi, I recently had to reinstall windows and I lost access to my Firefox bookmarks. I did not manually export my bookmarks before reinstalling and now i couldn't find them in my current Firefox setup. Is there any way to recover my old bookmarks or restore my previous Firefox profile date? can you please guide me on what can I do to retrieve them if possible? thank you.

Firefox is not able to log into Amazon, while Edge is OK, I know that a lot of Windows 10 updates have been installed of late plus other changes I am unable to work out whats wrong .......Help

Hi, I am experiencing an issue with accessing my Amazon orders and returns when using Mozilla Firefox. While I can navigate to Amazon.com without any problems, I am now prompted to sign in to my Amazon account whenever I attempt to view my orders or returns. This pop-up indicates that it is a Firefox security issue rather than a Windows problem. This situation has only started occurring recently, and I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. My Firefox version is 150.03. Thank you for your help.

I need to stop google from automatically searching in the address bar so I can use about.config.

No help has worked from the web. Commands suggested by users don't exist or they use circular logic. In other words I can't go to about.config and make changes because I can't get to about.config because google searches it. I have turned off everything and nothing gets rid of the google search. I can go to other searches but that doesn't help.

Ever since a recent update the Firefox app for android has had issues with text input for me. It's only Firefox, nothing else on my device has this issue, and it makes inputting text a huge hassle.

It often seems like the cursor randomly will move into a word even if it shouldn't, or it will trigger an auto-complete partway through typing a word (despite me having this disabled). It especially seems to happen if I go back to correct a word that had a typo or if I'm typing something with a hyphen, so "level-headed" will become something like "level-level-head-lehvel", as if it's repeatedly trying to autocomplete from different parts in the word.

This seems most notable if I access sites that I have saved to my homescreen for easy access (such as Tumblr, since I don't use the app), but seems to happen at random in general.

It makes text input pretty frustrating, which is a probem since that's a primary thing I do online.

I cannot sent emails. My account is a gmail one, I am using these settings i na POP3 modality:

I have used the verification tool in settings, and it establishes the connection.

However, when I try to send, I get one of these responses: "Enter your password for matos@sgmr.net on smtp.gmail.com." I enter the password and it either asks for the password again or I will get: "Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.gmail.com timed out. Try again."

I have two desktop computers. both were fine. Now when I try to access a site i have gone to innumerable times it says "Blocked access". I can still get to the site on the other computer, but it is annoying to have to hop back & forth. I looked at the settings page, but I have no idea what I need to change to regain access.

When I got Firefox, I had a Win 10 computer. I was able to use Win 11 for several years. Why cannot I have Win 11 instead of Win 10 and its nagging? I asked for the most recent software, which was provided, but it is still for Win 10. Your website said to go to Microsoft if I got it that way instead of Mozilla. That was years ago, and I don't remember which way I first got it. Microsoft just referred me back to Mozilla. I tried to find something in my profile that I could change, but I didn't see that there.
