I am using version 115.3.3 just today I started having problems. My default Windows virus checker did not identify any issues and I ran malware bytes and it showed zero problems. the problem seemed to start at the point when I forwarded a 5mb file to a few friends. Since then, I have been unable to send anything. The system continues to crash. Most of the time I cannot see any information in pull down lists. I have tried rolling back to a week old restore point and it continues to have the probem. I have tried updating to 115.4.1 and it still has the problem. I have removed all of the automatic installed updates from the last two days and still have the problem..... HELP!

I am not sure I will see emails back from this help request, but I sure hope so:)

I select multiple files in File Explorer and select, right click, Send To, Thunderbird, but only one of the files actually appears in the Thunderbird email. It appears that which one shows up as an attachment to the email is quite random. This used to work fine with all the selected files showing in the email, I haven't upgraded anything so far as I know, and I don't think I have changed anything at all. Any ideas most welcome. Incidentally, if I select only one file to send then it works fine; if I select multiple files to send through Outlook, then that works fine. I just cannot send multiple files through Thunderbird. I am using Thunderbird version 115.4.1 (64 bit). I have looked at the issue on Microsoft pages and they are of the opinion that this is a Thunderbird issue, not a Windows one. Ever since the Thunderbird update, whenever I start Thunderbird, the email page loads at a point several months back. I have to scroll all the way down to get current emails. This isn't a one-time deal. It happens every time I open Thunderbird.

I have 2 email accounts and this happens with each one. Never happened with the previous version.

How can I get this fixed?

I need help to organize the folder structure that was messed up during update to Thunderbird 115. Most urgent is one inbox folder which is now found under the accounts folder and not in the general inbox folder with all the other inbox folders. I would like to beable to move this misplaced inbox folder to it's original place in the general inbox folder.

Also in this misplaced inbox folder, its has other folders in it: template, draft, sent etc. These folder should stay in the accounts folder.

I hope that a future update will clear the mess, and other solutions are welcome :-)

When I create an email and attempt to insert a link, the message pane will freeze up. Been ongoing for several weeks now. It has forced me to use another client as we can not create any emails with links and that is critical. Version 120.ob1 32 bit Windows 10 PC (no changes made to anything prior to issue.

Hello, Can anyone help with server issues? I'm able to sign in and open Thunderbird but i can not receive or send any emails. It states my server is the issue but i attempted everything i saw online in regards to turning on and off my proxy and firewalls as well as checking the port was 587 for outgoing but its still not working can someone assist me in fixing this.

Hi, I'm using some typical browser extensions (lastpass, HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger, etc.), but all of buttons stopped operating. When I click them, nothing happens, clicking just makes the icon be shaded like it's pressed. I tried updating the browser, signing out&in, removing, loading and enabling them again. Nothing works. Most frustrating is the lastpass extension, as I actually use it almost daily.

Also I assume that one can't contact mozilla directly about these bugs/issues, only this community chat?

Hi -- I hope someone can help with this recent problem that has cropped up. Videos that are supposed to be autostart, such as news stories embedded on pages of news sites or video feeding into a side panel on a college sports site I frequent are just continually in buffer mode with the little spin icon in the middle of the screen. This also happens with some, but not all, YouTube videos.

This is a recent development and I didn't do anything to change my setup. I did try updating to make sure I have the most recent version of Firefox, so that's been accounted for. If I close out Firefox and come back to it after a couple of minutes, the problem is cleared, but it only lasts a little while before it begins once again.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I went to a local website and ended up getting virus warnings, see photo. I doubt if it's real but I don't know how to get rid of the messages, or scan for the virus? I scanned with the Windows virus protection and the computer came back clean. I can and have turned the computer off and back on, no help.

Hello, I have Thunderbird running on two different OS's. Linux (115.3.1) and Windows 11.(115.4.1). Both act the same way. Both are have the same email address and are linked to two gmail accounts. I have noticed that web based gmail email there is only a "Sent" Folder. On Thunderbird there is a "Sent" and "Sent Mail" folder. on one account the other only has "Sent" They are not always in sync. When I send an email, sometimes it seems to "Hang" sometimes not. I am wondering if I can remove the "Sent Mail" folder or the "Sent" folder as that could be causing the problem?

I downloaded the new version of Thunderbird Mail, and now, I'm having continual trouble sending messages (but no trouble receiving them). A pop-up window keeps appearing requiring me to re-sign into my Microsoft account, for some reason, but whenever I press "continue" to sign in, nothing happens, and selecting "cancel" also has no effect. I'm already signed in to my Microsoft account on my laptop, anyway, so I don't know why this window keeps appearing, but I assume it's related to the fact that I'm having trouble sending e-mail. I have to keep closing the Thunderbird program and re-opening it every time I want to send new messages. This is becoming very tiresome. I've already tried closing and re-opening the Thunderbird program, but that doesn't fix the problem. I'm working on a Mac, with the latest iOS. All suggestions appreciated!

Since i have update to the new version 115.4.1 (64-bit) I have run into display issues.

1-When I go up and down with my cursor over my folders the screens freezes and flow again and I do not have a smooth browsing like before. 2-The top folder are hidden by the menu option on the top left "Folder Pane Options" I can not see the folder behind. 3-The number indicating the number of mails unread is frequently hidden by the line cursor allowing to move up and down over the folders. 4- I keep have my message sorted randomly. I want to see the last one always on the top. I Have to look to find out where is the last message .

For the past year, I've been using a Hotspot to access school websites that have been blocked. Today, it took about 5 minutes to tell me it was a "server error" and to check if it was a firewall blocking me out (it wasnt). I restarted my computer and tried again, it took me to another error code that said "PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR" and no Google searches helped me, so I restarted it again and then it took me to another error message saying my connection timed out despite me not changing anything with my connection or Hotspot! I cleared my cache and browser data and nothing is doing anything. I checked my desktop settings and there was nothing there connection wise. I'm not sure what to do anymore!

only in Firefox.. other browsers are good... shorts are working fine on new tab but normal videos freeze when open in new tab. besides if i press reload on a running video it also react same. it freeze. please help.
