Thunderbird is downloading new messages but failing to display them.

Other functionality remains active, ie I can see and open messages, delete all the contents of folders, compose and send messages, but when the software downloads new messages they simply do not display and cannot be accessed.

Not sure if it's relevant, but the message INBOX count appears to be stuck at the number 59, although more messages than that have been downloaded.

Bizarrely this is the message displayed whenever I now open the Thunderbird application (it was there when the problem first appeared and returns everytime). Out of desperation I even made a donation in the hope it would release the messages!

The edit icon on lower right splash page selects which photo for background display. My photo will not display and ignores my selection. Nothing happens. I have spent 24 hours trying to customize my Firefox but cannot complete my goal. Help!

When I reinstalled Firefox, my categorized bookmarks were no longer visible. I re-categorized them using "Manage Bookmarks" and it was then Bookmarks Menu. But when I opened Firefox to use it, there was no "Bookmark Menu" and only "Bookmarks", where they appear but not categorized. Where do I find "Bookmarks Menu"?

I cannot use the attach button to attach files to outgoing emails. Alt+Shift+A does not respond either. I am running Thunderbird from the "Thunderbird Setup 157.0.1" installer. I am able to drag and drop but that method is rather unwieldy. I recently upgraded Windows 11 to version 26H2.157.

Firefox was recently updated automatically. Since then, I cannot access my Yahoo mail. I can access my emails using Bluemail. When I try to access my emails with Yahoo on Firefox, I receive the following error message.

I am trying to use the VPN feature to connect to BBC iPlayer in UK. I switched on the VPN in the browser and selected United Kingdom. It doesn't seem to work as BBC iPlayer tells methat I am connecting from outside UK.

How can I force FF (win11 v157.0) to always open links in a new tab without using <Ctrl> click or "center-wheel" click ?

Hello, I am unable to use henry.boerger@icloud.com to sign in to or create a Mozilla account.

When I try to sign in with this address, I receive the error: “Primary account email required for sign-in.”

The Mozilla account that may previously have been associated with this address currently uses henry.boerger.hh@gmail.com as its primary email address. In the account settings, no secondary email address is listed.

Nevertheless, henry.boerger@icloud.com still appears to be associated with a Mozilla account internally.

Could you please check the account association and remove/release henry.boerger@icloud.com so that it can be used as the primary email address for a Mozilla account?

This morning, I can no longer download (Save) files to my computer, nor check/change settings in Firefox. Tried all troubleshooting steps to no avail.

If I delete and reinstall Firefox, will I lose all my Bookmarks, etc.? Running version 157.0 (aarch64).

Hi Mozilla Support Team, I am facing an issue while using WordPress on Mozilla Firefox. The custom fields and options inside the WordPress editor (Gutenberg / Classic Editor) are not loading or responding properly. Issue Details: Custom fields and meta boxes fail to render or freeze when interacted with. Data entered into these fields sometimes does not save upon updating the post. The same WordPress dashboard and fields work completely fine on other browsers like Google Chrome. Actually, I believe the aspect of a browser that should not be changed casually is the UI that users interact with while browsing, such as tabs and sidebars. Any changes to configurable UI elements are acceptable, but Firefox should now refrain from altering the UI and instead focus entirely on fixing bugs and optimizing performance. The UI represents the face of a browser, and constantly changing it not only fails to attract new users but also neglects the needs of existing ones.

Evidently Thunderbird updated to 157.0.1 (64-bit) on October 1. If I select a reminder, from the list of reminders in the reminder screen, I will get the attached screenshot. I use to get a screen where I could delete the reminder. This screen has three dots. If I click on that there is an option to delete, but it does not work. The best I can do is delete it from the calendar.

Why does the "Delete" not work when I select the event from the reminder screen?

Was this a mistake, am I doing something wrong, or is this a new feature?
