For some reason (probably an update), over the last few months Firefox lost the ability auto login sites like YouTube and others, and this is really annoying with sites that require two-step verification. I have checked settings but everything seems to be Ok. Unfortunately have had to use Chrome for those sites I previously browsed with Firefox and avoid having to login manually. Is there any solution for this? Thanks.

Since the recent Firefox updates my YouTube is messed up. This issue started a few months ago. The thumbnail pictures on the right side of the video screen do not match the titles. The pictures and titles have nothing to do with each other. The "comments" section on a video are not available unless I take my cursor and strategically find the little sweet spot to allow me to start typing. Also my name appears on other viewers comments and others on my comments. If I go to "task manager, right click on "Task Manager" and click "restart" the problem goes away for one viewing then returns. If I open and sign in to Youtube in Chrome everything works fine, so I know it's not a YouTube settings issue. Please help, it's driving me crazy!!

This is the second time I am posting about this - I did what was recommended before, but after a few good weeks, its now way worse. For some reason my print settings change to HUGE so that when I print, unbeknownst to me (because the preview looks fine), only maybe 1/4 of the page prints on one page. Yesterday I had to clear the print settings (help, more troubleshooting, print, clear saved settings) several times. The first time it happened I was printing multiple photos and had 16 pages of unusable color printouts. Although I didn't change the print settings manually at all, this problem recurred multiple times after I cleared the settings and although everything was fine when I left work last night, it was back to HUGE for the first print outs this morning. It is a big waste of paper and ink and is very frustrating. I'd like to know what is causing it and if there is a permanent way to fix it.

Downloads won't start at all, from wetransfer to any website the popup won't even show up and the download will not start.

I've tried the suggessted solutions and I've come across this:

I restarted my firefox in troubleshoot mode and the problem went away, but it keeps happening in normal browsing. I've turned off hardware acceleration, turned off my extentions (all of them & one by one), I've done the resets in the config page, cleared downloads and cookies, changed theme, everything that is suggested is the problem goes away in troubleshoot mode, but it doesn't work.

Any other suggestions? Ideas?

I had one profile on Firefox and it got deleted yesterday. It had so much data and private keys. I don't even see that profile in profile folder path. I made a new profile today and there were many tabs opened on that profile. When i search for a webpage already opened on that deleted profile it gives me a reference to it as attached is there any way i can regain access to the same? PFA picture. The encircled shows that this tab is on sdraj (my old profile) followed by desktop name.

Within the past few days something changed within Firefox. One news website's comment window has changed to a totally white window. The print is there, but so faint it cannot be read until it is posted. That creates a problem checking spelling, changing wording etc. Even if I "edit", the text is so dim it's unreadable.

Hi, since 93.0 stuff went worse regarding speed and additionally, listening to short 30 sec tracks in advance on regular amazon pages fails at all. Tried the tracks-thing with the latest Edge: et voila -> no prob at all.

I am on Win10pro, 21H1. These issues started with 93.0. No, I have not played around with any about:config settings after updating it. It's quite annoying and my overall experience starts to suck. Sorry but if stuff goes that bad out of the blue... What have you people done/changed?

I have gone into my Add-Ons and enabled the "Show lower RoboForm toolbar" option. But every day when I open Firefox on my Windows 10 computer (fully updated), the Roboform Add-on lower toolbar has been unselected. I have to go back into Add-Ons and re-select it every day. How do I make this stop? It used to happen once in awhile, but now it's every day. I use RoboForm many times a day, and this is really annoying.

I remember being able to fix this before, but I can't find the config category for it now. Basically, no matter what is already open in other tabs, I always want Firefox to follow my directions and open whatever website I type in the URL in my current tab. I don't care if, say, Twitter is already open in an earlier tab. If I type in twitter.com, I want it to open in that tab, not switch to the previous tab. For example, there may be some sites that update regularly, but I want to hang onto the older version for a bit, so I leave it open. But then if I want to see the newer updated page, Firefox will not allow me to do it. What do I have to search for to switch to True or False to change this?

Starting a few months ago, when I click on a link in a web page that would cause a PDF to be displayed, I get the dialog box asking me where I want to save the file. When I go into settings and change the way Firefox deals with PDF files, having it use Adobe Acrobat DC instead, the problem will be temporarily solved, but it returns shortly. (The particular setting which I have to continually reset is under the Settings/Applications and involves "content type" "Portable Document Format (PDF)(application/pdf)"

How can I make it so that I don't have to continually instruct Firefox to open rather than save PDF files?

Hi, my problem is straightforward, after it syncs my data videos stop working. What I tried at first when the problem appeared was clearing cookies, disabling add-ons, then creating a new profile, but I realized the problem only appeared after logging in, so I'm thinking maybe my synced data got corrupted somehow?

If so, what steps can I follow to tackle this problem?

This problem started with an update a couple months ago. Each bar is about 4 pixels wide and appears only on the right, left, and bottom edges of the browser window. They persist when the window is full size or smaller, but disappear on f11. The bars are completely unresponsive. Clicking or resizing the window doesn't seem to work inside of them. Even though the top of the window has no visible bar, there is still an unresponsive region like the other three sides and approximately 4 pixels of empty space.

When it comes to color, the bars spend about 50 percent of the time as white and 50 percent as the same gray that Firefox's dark mode uses. I wasn't able to get a screenshot when the bars were gray, but I was able to screenshot the top right and left corners when the bars were white, which I have attached.

It appears as if there are buttons of some sort poking out on the top right and left corners. If I had to guess, the top right icon looks like the "x" button on a Windows 7 window, and the top left icon looks like the red dot in the uppermost corner of a macOS window. My machine has only ever run Windows 10, and Firefox is the only application that this problem occurs in.

Restarting, using troubleshooting mode, manually removing extensions and themes, messing around with compatibility settings, running as administrator, refreshing Firefox, and reinstalling Firefox have all been unsuccessful. It really is annoying to live with this bug.
