This problem still occurs, this time it took about 3 days before it reoccurred. I'm having a problem that appears to be linked to syncing. I can clear it with "Refresh Firefox...", but then it will come back in about 2-3 days. Deleting my profile didn't help. I have tried looking for an .mht reading add-on but nothing seems to exist and existing help info refers to Firefox 58 and doesn't work. Thanks for all help, Jon

I have recently bookmarked from chrome successfully, or so I THOUGHT..... but for some reason when I try add a new bookmark to a folder I have used, the bookmark WON't SEND IT TO THAT FOLDER..... and then for some reason it'll save it when I go into the three bars - Bookmarks - and then appears there instead. I don't understand why the bookmark doesn't save into one of my folders? is there some kind of problem happened when the boomarks migrated from Chrome?

I am running Firefox 100.0.2 64 bit and now after literally years of visiting https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/ to pay my mobile bill every month, it won't open the page. [See image of error]. I have gone into settings | browser privacy and tried turning off blocking for cookies, tracking content, cryptominers, and fingerprinters. No difference. I have gone into Enhanced Tracking Protection and clicked on Manage Exceptions and it won't give me an option to add the website. The site opens normally in Chrome. I find the instructions for "What to do if a site seems broken", but there is no shield or broken shield next to the web site address to click on. [See second image].

Whenever I try to send an email from Thunderbird on one of my Force9 (PlusNet) accounts, I get an error message like this (1st image).

Retry gives an endless cycle of the same message. Enter New Password gives an opportunity to enter a new password, resulting in the same error message. Cancel gives the 2nd image.

ISP Plusnet Broadband provider Virgin Operating System Windows 11 Thunderbird version 91.9.1

Firefox seems to be the only browser that is preventing me from logging into my websites. I repeatedly get a "too many attempts" error and then captcha kicks in. When I finally get through the captchas, which I understand from Shopify is normal, I get a blank screen that is trying to load my account. I've spent HOURS on chat with Shopify to see if my site had been hacked. It might have been but there is no suspicious activity and the behavior of the login is weird to them. Could Firefox have the issue....how do I even begin to explore this? I am not well versed on the terminology or even how to go about this. I have since installed Norton on my devices and still use Firefox VPN....at least I think I am, assuming I did it all right. HELP....REALLY NEED GUIDANCE HERE.

Hi folks. I got a popup today advising me to upgrade Thunderbird to the newest version. I thought, "hey why not, I've been using Thunderbird for YEARS, I like it it's great"....so I did I can no longer connect either of my gmail accounts or my icloud account. Is this a known problem with the upgrade? If I wait a bit will "it fix itself"?

Not totally comfortable with Firefox/Authy yet but need to be - I installed FF on my desktop - I added 5 profiles in addition to default and everything went great - Then I loaded FF on my laptop and iPhone and tried to sync and the "Sign in" popup appeared - I added Authy after the fact to get the "The Code" but that failed - Not sure what to do other than walk away from my initial install - I successfully setup a second install via a different email/password - Any thoughts w/b most appreciated, Thanks Dave

There is a large delay between when I open Firefox, and when it finally loads my homepage (Bing.com). To help troubleshoot, I installed Wireshark, and performed a packet capture.

At timestamp 13.547047 seconds, it sends a query for detectportal.firefox.com. At this point we know the browser is open and functioning.

At timestamp 19.768820 it sends a query for www.bing.com. It's taken over 6 seconds, before firefox even tries to load my homepage.

What is it doing for those 6 seconds? How do I get it to load Bing at timestamp 13.547048?

I installed the latest version of Firefox (100.1) on my iPhone 8 (15.5). I have a Firefox account that I'm successfully logged into on my laptop. However the iPhone app refuses to remain logged in. I have restarted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the Firefox app on my phone, and nothing works. When I go into the app > menu > sync now OR app > menu > settings > account login I go through the QR sync process. Once that completes, I open the list of connected devices on my laptop and my phone is not listed. When I open the app menu on my phone, I am not logged in. I still see the "sync now" and no account logged in in the settings menu. When I try to sync from my phone using my email address, the login screen does not recognize my email address as valid (it says "load failed"). It's the same email address I'm using to log into my laptop and this support site. I was able to sync across devices just fine until today. How can I fix this? Thanks.

I started my Mac Thunderbird 2 days ago and all of my email accounts were blank.

Everything from the Library files were deleted.

Anything to offer? This happened about 5-6 years ago.

I can go into my TimeMachine back-up and redo the entire drive or, hopefully, less than that just all of the Thunderbird stuff in the Library section.

Regardless, how the hell does this happen? This occured after updating to your latest version a day or so earlier.

Just to serve notice that I will no longer be using Firefox as for some reason it no longer reopens ios full screen. It is hugely inept every time I go to Firefox, which I like, to have to open in fullscreen. Why have you done this. I will bet I am not the only one frustrated. Also: why not support line. Communities are a gross cop-out and waste my time. I want to speak to the company and expect them to provide me with a service: not amateurs.
