Thunderbird used to get messages when it firsts opened now it doesn't. seems like it stopped after two updates ago. Can't figure out in options how to turn it back on.

I have LastPass extension on FF v86. It will logout of LP if I close the browser.

However if I leave my PC unattended for >10 minutes LP is supposed to auto log off. I have checked the settings in LP and they are set correctly.

LP still functions as it should when using the Opera browser.

I have reinstalled the LP extension. No change.

HI all. Was hoping to find/enable "go to website" feature while taking screenshots in firefox. For those who are not familiar when you take a screenshot while being on the web page you usually have little "go to website link" while viewing your screenshot and if you click on the link/ icon your screenshot will take you directly to the website this screen was taken at. Recently got s 21 / t-mobile. This feature is present on all other browsers like stock samy browser and chrome but for the reason my go to firefox browser has that feature not displayed on the screenshots. Attaching pics of the feature below.Please advise if you know what could cause that and how to enable "go to website" feature on screenshots?

What can be preventing me from logging in to my account at cvs.com using Firefox browser. Is there something that I need to de-select?

After Firefox updated to version 86 yesterday a couple of my users are being prompted to select what they would like Firefox to do with a PDF file each time they download one. They set it to open in Foxit Reader and checked the box to do it automatically each time but it always goes back to the default setting. I confirmed that the Application settings in Options is set to use Foxit Reader for PDFs and I even followed the troubleshooting step for this issue and renamed the handlers.json file.

Also each time they try to download a PDF a prompt comes up asking for an admin password (see the 3rd image). These computers are on a domain, so the UAC prompt isn't unusual but we don't restrict them from being able to download files. But I'm having the same issue as well and I'm not on the domain, so I think this is more of a symptom then a cause.

Is this a bug in the latest update? I was troubleshooting a printer setting issue for them the day before yesterday. Did some testing on my computer and theirs, got it worked out that Foxit works best for their needs when printing a PDF from a web app. Then yesterday afternoon they began to have issues where they couldn't print at all. I checked it out and all of our computers updated to Firefox v86 and everything is now working differently now in terms of handling PDFs.

I can't tell you how amazingly awesome the MAC extension is! Extremely helpful, especially for those of us who are juggling multiple logins on the same systems. There is one small issue I'm hoping to get help with.

Here is my specific scenario:

I have two different Microsoft DevOps accounts one at dev.azure.com/xyz and another at dev.azure.com/abc - they have two different Microsoft credentials, perfect for the MAC extension.

Except... the "Always Open in Container..." option seems to only be key'd to the domain name. I would love to be able to use more of the URL as you can see in my example. Is there any way to make this happen?

I'm unable to use multitouch gestures to go back and forward in browser like I used to do in edge and chrome browser. I hope you solve this problem. and the website is opening in new tab instead of same tab.

I have been unable to find any information on customizing the look of Web push notifications. I would like to be able to change the time they remain on the screen, where they appear, how many can stack at a time. Is there any means to do this? Specifically, I would like to change the way Slack message announcements appear.

I change the settings regarding the colour of used links from the standard pink-ish to red and press ok. The colour doesn't change anyway - not even after restarting the computer. I have a brand new computer with the accompanied Windows 10 at the moment.

I want to switching on/off multiple extension at once, but built-in addon management is not capable of it (even swiping out disable addon when switched) , and there are no addon doing it.

I imagines like this , which doing preset type of management.

Any help?

I run my own archive methodology in Thunderbird. In the .thunderbird path with thunderbird not running I usually rename the INBOX to Inbox_year, for example Inbox_2019. I then make a new Inbox and restart thunderbird. I do the same with the SENT mail directory. I am quietly confident that this is what I have done for more than two decades. The process is NOT working at the moment. I don't really know why and I cannot find any documentation that will help me link or directly attach the getting of mail to the new inbox. It is linked to the moved folder. That is new mail is put into the Inbox_year box and not the standard inbox. I admit to not under the presented icons. The icon associate with the Inbox and the Inbox_year just move is an envelope with an unsealed flap. A;; the other icons are folder icons. I hope that my description is sufficient. When trying to open PDFs after downloading or from the downloads-folder I just get random apps as options to open the file (see screenshot). None of my installed PDF-viewers are listed. It works well with Adobe Acrobat when I open PDFs from the Android file manager or a different browser. So it has to do with Firefox I guess... any suggestions?

I have a problem with Firefox. I think this is a bug. I have tested it in Firefox 85, 86 and 87.

When I press Alt, the complete title bar with the menus File, Edit, View, ... appears. Afterwards, when I click Minimize, Maximize, Close, New Tab or List All Tabs, the title bar is minimized again but nothing else happens. Those buttons just don't work.

Is there a way to fix this problem? Is it likely to be fixed sooner than three months/six months/years? Please tell me how I can add anymore useful information. Thanks for your support!

I'm going through thousands of old emails-- looking to ID key contacts I worked with in various companies.

When I do a search on "@companydomain.com" I may get 50 different contacts in the People section on left. While I see a number showing how many messages they were associated with, I see no way to sort on that number.

Does this exist?

Not the end of the world if not, but would definitely be a time saver. And if it doesn't, perhaps I can throw it on the list of desired features?

I'd like to only open links of one particular website in its app while I'd like to keep seeing the mobile version of all the other pages instead of Firefox redirecting me to the Playstore and the respective app. Is it somehow possible?
