I used my search and found many causes. Hi I am the admin site owner of the above site on th site we have a widget that lets us monitor who is in our teamspeak server from the home page this was working great until I and other members updated to firefox 121.0.1. 2 days ago, now we get this message in the widget frame insted.

I contacted Nitrado support after reading this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/xframe-neterror-page They say they have fixed the issue but it still present after reinstalling the widget, clearing cache (server and firefox app) and server restart, this is effecting all our uses who use firefox, which is all of them :( can anyone help?

Google search no longer works on Firefox. Other browsers have no problems. Changing the default search engine on Firefox works (eg Bing), BUT. It can now find Google Maps, but Google Maps cannot find a location, because it uses a Google search. I tried the fix in about:config, but it had no effect.

I've been having this reoccurring firefox bug every couple of months where randomly all audio from the application stops working is no longer available in the volume mixer of windows 11 (see example screenshot with twitch tab in background playing)

In the past, I was able to fix this issue by simply restarting the audisrv service and everything would work normally but now nothing I do seems to work. I've tried:

- Resetting - Uninstall/reinstall - Disabled all extensions - New profile

I do not have this issue on firefox dev or firefox nightly. If anyone has any ideas on how I could resolve or better diagnose this issue it would be much appreciated! TIA

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Started up Firefox today and these whited out boxes started appearing over my search bars and random part of the screen, such as the descriptions of different articles on my home pages, extension and theme information in my settings, and different tabs (see pictures 1 and 2). The text is also white, making it almost impossible for me to see what I'm typing or selecting in the search bar (picture 3).

I've already tried some tips that I found on the forums such as changing the hardware accelerator, making sure my extensions and add-ons were up to date, etc. When I go into troubleshooting mode, the boxes disappear and Firefox functions normally, but when I tried turning off all my add-ons and themes on the regular browser, the problem still wasn't fixed. I did a full refresh of the browser, hoping that would help to reset whatever was causing the issue, but that didn't help either.

Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

On the 23. of Mai I first noticed that I am unable to download any files whatsoever. I tried downloading .exe files and also a .csv file. When I try to download one of these files it appears in the downloads window but immediately goes to the status "Failed". Any retry fails as well.

The same thing goes for extensions. I cannot download any extensions or plugins using my Firefox browser. Since I reinstalled Firefox I can now also not use Plex because Firefox can't install the required plugins.

I will attach screenshots of all the errors I get.

All of the above worked when I tried it on the Edge browser.

Firefox version: 126.0 Windows 11

Things I have tried to fix the issue:

• Use the network connection from my phone instead of my home network
• Disable firewall and windows defender
• Reinstall Firefox
• Refresh Firefox
• Downgrade to version 125.0.1 and 122.0
• Reset router to factory settings
• Flush dns
• Restart PC
• Manually delete profile folder
• Delete temp files
• Change download destination
• Disable "Block dangerous and deceptive content"
• Troubleshoot Mode

Is Firefox using some other temporary folder for downloads?

Any ideas on how to fix this issue would be appreciated.

The USPS website does not work properly with Firefox!! The Home page loads okay but there are multiple other issues with links not working. For instance all of the links under Quick Tools do not work except this one: https://www.usps.com/manage/po-boxes.htm. Other things don't work either.

Everything works fine that I tried with Google Chrome though! Please address soon.

Hello Good People,

I noticed that the snap version of Firefox had a lag issue when typing into input field. For example, when composing an email and wanting to use backspace to quickly delete a misspelled word, then backspace works slowly, stuttering and jittering. If I hold down a key in the input field it also lays the character down in a stuttery, slow way.

I tried reinstalling the system and that solved the issue. But it has returned again. Maybe it was an update. I also installed WINE and waybridge to get some windows plugins to work on my DAW. I don't know if that has affected it.

I also tried removing the snap version and installing firefox using the terminal but the problem persisted.

It's an annoying problem. Any advice appreciated.

A recent set of system updates appears to have made most website videos not play in Firefox.

When I inspect the Developer Tools - > Console tab the most detail Firefox gives are an error line similar to: Media resource URL could not be decoded, error: Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_METADATA_ERR (0x806e0006)

Internet searches for the error name and error hex do not appear yield any applicable troubleshooting, nor any methods of collecting additional problem data.

How can I obtain more detail on where the error is happening and how Firefox might be interacting with other packages present on my system?

Arch Linux has some older ffmpeg-compat packages, but those don't appear to match any of the web results, in that they're even older versions of ffmpeg.

I use Firefox web browser, my OS is Windows 10 pro. I am the webmaster for site http://eckankarinoklahoma.org. When I revise and update the website pages, Firefox does not recognize the changes made until I hit the reload (renewal) button to the right of the address. However, when there is no reload button for a page, Firefox never will recognize the changes that have been made until I delete my browsing history. It appears to be read web history pages. I've tried everything, from reloading the page to getting out of the site and returning, etc. to get Firefox to recognize the changes but it will not. Like I said, the only way I can get it to recognize the changes is to delete my history, which is a real pain. The page that doesn't have a reload button is a password protected page. See site mentioned above and click left hand menu item "Members Login here." However, by visiting this page you won't be able to see the problem until you have visited it, and then again after it has been revised. The only revision made to this page is the date in the label asking for the password. The password works fine, it's just that the label never updates and this is important for users to know in which article to find the password. Sorry for the wordiness of this, but I hope you get the idea of the problem.

Firefox 115.12esr slow to startup takes up to 10 second to load the first time now Firefox was fine in version 112.esr. to bad Firefox forces updates, even when the update make Firefox worse. https://snipboard.io/QF0ERT.jpg of course it works faster without extensions, that does not mean anything. I would reinstall the older version but Mozilla fixed so we cannot. I do not have time to reinstall all the extension so I am left with a useless Firefox. To bad Firefox does not allow reinstall of extension automatically, a reset of Firefox would also make Firefox useless; I am at a loss to how to continue to support Mozilla and not switch to another browser?

Installed Firefox 122 in a new Windows 10 installation and added some extensions (e.g. Gesturefly, Update Scanner, uBlock Origin, Uppity). These pinned fine on my old installation. But I cannot find how to pin them on the new.

All the help I have found Googling, or using search here, says go to the Add-ons Manager page and right-click the extension and use "pin to toolbar". Alternatively click the extension and click the gear icon and use "pin to toolbar". But when I right-click there is no pin to toolbar context menu entry. If I left-click the gear I get "Check for Updates, View Recent Updates, Install Add-on From File, Debug Add-ons, Update Add-ons Automatically, Reset All Add-ons to Update Automatically, Manage Extension Shortcuts". If I right-click the gear I get a line of icons (left, right, reload, star) followed by "Open Image in New Tab, Copy Image Link, Email Image, Save Page As, Select All, View Pate Source, Inspect Accessibility Properties, Inspect (Q)". If I right-click the extension in the Add-ons Manager page itself, I get a very similar list. In no case is there a pin to toolbar option.

How do I pin an extension, given the above? What have I messed up?

I've just switched to firefox from brave, and theres no button on twitch to enable picture in picture. Using the keyboard shortcut (cmd+option+shift+]) works, but I'd much rather click something on the screen. On brave there used to be a picture in picture button alongside settings, theatre mode, and fullscreen buttons, but on firefox this has been replaced by a clip button. There's no option for it if I right click (this works on youtube), and no option in the address bar for either twitch or youtube. I've tried disabling all my extensions and lowering protections but nothing seems to work.

I've just tried to save something from firefox on linux(Manjaro KDE) and was baffled that there doesn't seem to be a way to manually enter the path and navigate to it in the save dialog. In addition to that, there are many locations missing and I can't seem to find a way to add new custom or favorites ones either.

All that combined means it was impossible to save my file directly to a network location, which is something I very often need to do. It just seems insane for such a basic feature to be missing and I've found a 4 years old thread about it meaning nothing has been done to fix this since? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1279125

The only way I can see would be to mount the network path(not a good solution for one offs) and navigate to it(a symlink can make it closer to one of the existing shortcut but still annoyingly require more clicks) every time but that's very tedious since most of my saving is on a specific server drive.

How can I disable the ctrl+t shortcut? I have tried using the Shortkey add-on, but it will not touch the ctrl+t shortcut. It works for everything else, just not that one. I've been told I can modify the browser.xhtml file inside the omni.ja file, but I am finding that almost impossible. Has anyone managed to do this?

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY - Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (Firefox-Mozilla kinda encourages using their tools to block cookies, which I much prefer), and I CANT FIND WHERE TO ALLOW (not yelling its just that I said this before and it wasn't noticed) cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences all I could find was under privacy & security cross-site cookies but that did nothing) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to try (I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! I did get the following reply, saying to allow cookies (BUT I DON"T KNOW HOW OR WHERE TO DO IT) and something about a new browser profile and to stay out of my sync account, and I APOLOGIZE, but I have no clue what all that means. What is a broweser profile, what is a sync account and how do I stay out of it? I guess well I know i'm not too smart about this kinda stuff, so I apologize but I think I need detailed step by step what to do to fix this. I know thats a lot of typing, sorry.

Since about 13:00 GMT yesterday, Firefox could not load or display the Hostinger h-panel. It sometimes partially and sometimes completely displays all the page content. But all the controls are dead. Firefox seems to be very busy doing something. I told Hostinger and they spent some time looking into the problem. They got Firefox to load the h-panel but said that it was vastly slower than other browsers in doing so. With me, Firefox still stops doing anything once the content is loaded and ALL controls on the page are still dead. When closing Firefox in this state, there is considerable delay before the window actually closes.

I thought that perhaps Hostinger had done an update that called in some proprietary JavaScript extensions that Firefox couldn't handle. I get the impression that in trying to display the h-panel pages, Firefox is trying to acquire some content from an external site, as requested somewhere within the HTML/JavaScript source code.
