I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows. I posted a couple days ago, but what I posted was confusing and convoluted, so I am trying to be more concise this time. I need to have the Thunderbird (TB) eMail on both my work and home computer. It is already on my work computer and I have copied the TB eMail to a USB according to what I found on here, and have checked and all the files appear on the USB. I have tried to get the TB eMail on my home computer now, with that USB, but can not, no matter what I try. I have downloaded the TB eMail from the Mozilla site to my home computer several times; deleted it to try again; and have cleared everything out every time I do. However EVERY time now, I am getting an error message that the Profile Setting Can Not Be Found.....specifically it says " Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." in a pop up window. I don't know how to get rid of this so that it does not pop up every time - because again, it pops every time even after I delete the TB completely. If someone could guide me on how to get the TB on my home computer without that popping up, and how to proceed from there, because I do have all those files on the USB, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!! I'd like to archive my recently passing family member hotmail account.

I setup Hotmail (using POP) with Thunderbird MacOSX already (with the hope that I can just backup the user profile to the cold storage).

The thing is, I cannot see the "SENT" folder locally.

I tried to create a new folder "SENT" and point the setting (Copies & Folders > place a copy in) to use that "SENT" folder, but after sync, nothing appears on that folder.

I saw a similar request raised (here), but in that scenario, the person is using IMAP; while I'm using POP.

Is there any setting that I missed?

Thunderbird didn't seem to download properly. My Thunderbird window does not have the top lines that say: File, Edit, View, etc., and Get Mail Write, Address Book.

Hello, I have my thunderbird data files (emails, etc.) on a separate drive. I had windows, apps on an SSD. The ssd got corrupted so I had to reinstall. Now I need to have Thunderbird point to the files on the separate drive. I have been trying to figure it out from your support articles but it gets way too confusing, especially since the new version of Thunderbird is different from the version I had before. Can you help me? Thank you

My name is Ivo. I use Thunderbird for all my Email-Accounts. Now I wanted to add another one, which is info@ivo-zimmermann.ch, but it does not work (pls see screenshots in the attachment).

info@ivo-zimmermann.ch works fine when I login directly on Gmail, it also worked fine to login here into the mozilla support. Also all other accounts that I have (for example info@kanai-zimmermann.ch) were no problem to install.

Do you have an idea where the problem is?

102.2.2 has really messed things up for me. i can't see any emails after August 9th in any of my Saved Searches, and this is causing real problems.

i've tried deleting the global database and reindexing, but that did nothing.

I copied my Thunderbird profile to a tape drive, went to troubleshooting, profile, open folder and pasted my .map files which were abook-1.map, abook-2.map through abook-10. Restarted Thunderbird and files did not convert to .sqlite. How do I proceed to restore addresses?

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

Hi,Why is download showing up on nearly all sites I go to & HOW do I get rid of it permantently I can close it by hitting the X beside the Download,but it Should not be there Thanks Darryl

Firefox wasn't working well on a seldom-used laptop, and the update to 100.0.1 didn't go quite right, so I deleted the old version and (using the odious Edge) tried downloading a fresh copy of the software.

But then I get a message from "7-ZIP" that reads "Can not create temp folder archive"

I'm stuck. Advice?

I put in my Plus net Password and press enter and then it takes me to the next screen see Capture 1 I then put in my Google Internet Password and then press enter and it then takes me to Capture 2 and then I am completely lost I have used Thunderbird in my Spain Apartment and also at home in England for several years and it has never taken me to Google and never come up with another Language Fortunately I have logged into Google Mail and managed to add my Plusnet EMail to this otherwise I would not be able to read your reply without logging into a very Basic Plusnet Webmail

It is the first time I have ever used Google Mail it is not bad but I prefer Thunderbird if I can get it working again

Finally! I successfully migrated from Eudora 7, but I had to use TB 17.  Where do I go from here?

I'm running a Mac (10.12.6) with different flavors of Windows in different Parallels VM's, and in order to keep my Eudora install safe I did the conversion on a Win 10 32-bit VM on my creaky old MacBookPro which is disconnected from my network.

So now I want to get a current version of TB running with my newly minted TB data on my primary desktop computer. Typically I am concurrently running the following Parallels VM's: Win 7 32-bit, Win 10 32-bit and Win 10 64-bit.

Makes no difference to me which VM I start with, I just don't know how to get from TB17 on my laptop to TB95(?) on one of my desktop VM's.
