Is there any parameter or group policy similar to Chrome "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\AutoSelectCertificateForUrls]", as we implemented application with Certificate sign-in, it pop-up every time when navigating to different on-prem servers, we enabled Group policy for MSEdge & Chrome, but need to do same for Mozilla Firefox.

I need expert advice on this subject matter.

As of today in Firefox Nightly for Android the buttons noted in the subject line above have now taken up a section of my screen instead of being tucked away in a menu, which is my preference. I cannot figure out how to put it back as I have no need for these to be persistent in any way. Please instruct me on how to reassert the previous settings.

In my new setup on T-bird POP, is there any justification for the Trash folder appearing twice, once as non-local folder and once as a local folder? Or is this just an artifact of having an IMAP option as well? There is no such thing as a downloaded Trash item, right? So in a logical sense, shouldn't the Trash folder in non-local be removable on POP, or just automatically disappear when POP is selected? There are no other folders duplicated between local and non-local, so the duplication just looks odd and confusing, even though it may be of little or no functional consequence. Is there no way to eliminate one of these two folders, perhaps the non-local one?

On my new T-bird installation, I cannot find a way to add Send-Receive as a customization of the toolbar area, nor do I find so far any other way to send-receive, aside from interval-based automatic sending and receiving, and of course composing and sending a new email. Em-client has an easily accessed send-receive button, as does my long-time Outlook desktop client.

Hello, I have a question about the interaction between the import profile functionality and IMAP synchronization. I am currently in the process of transferring a domain, and during that process the existing emails on the IMAP server for that domain will be lost.

If I have all the emails for that server in a thunderbird backup, and I then transfer the domain and set up another IMAP server for the same addresses, then restore the thunderbird backup, will the emails from the backup then be added to the new IMAP server? If not, does anyone have a recommended way to achieve this?

Thank you

Mozilla added Accuweather to my New Tab page today. I can't use it because my VPN uses other locations. I attempted to remove it using the "solution" from another user's post 9 months ago. However, none of those things worked. There is no "Tools" option in the menu and I unchecked and blocked every item on the "Page Info" tab under the "Permissions" header. Zero result.

The Accuweather feed shows up in the upper left corner of the computer screen and does not have a "dismiss" option. I did notice that it has some entries in about:config. Is the solution to be found there?

I currently have a strange setup for email and I've been using Outlook 365 up until now. My concern is that Microsoft is saying that they don't want people using passwords and I'm not sure that I can continue doing what I'm doing today and still use Outlook 365.

I have an Outlook.com email address and I have a second email account from a totally different provider. I forward all of my outlook.com email to this second, alternative email account however I do not use the alternative email accounts SMTP server to send my mail. I instead have my SMTP settings in Outlook 365 to use Outlooks SMTP server. I do this just in case someone decides to look at the email's header information so it the outbound information in the header does not expose the email address of my second alternative email account. Doing this pretty much ensures that I get very little spam as outlook.com scans it before it gets forwarded and my alternative account scans all forwarded email a second time before it appears in my inbox. So to be perfectly clear my inbound pop server settings are configured for my alternative email address and my SMTP settings are configured to use Outlook.Com's SMTP server.

Getting down to the heart of the problem Microsoft says that soon I will no longer be able to use my password with their SMTP server and they indicated that Thunderbird could be configured to use OAuth2 instead and they even provided an screen shot of the setup. Unfortunately, Outlook 365 does not provide the ability to configure the SMTP server to use OAuth2 so this is why I would like to know from a Thunderbird expert if it can be configured with different inbound and outbound server settings and that I can use OAuth2 instead of passwords.

I'm relatively new to TB. In Windows Live Mail, I could write a message and hit send, which then put it in the outbox. Then, but only then, I could either manually send the message (send and receive) or have the program do so automatically every x minutes. In TB, when I hit send, it simply sends the message. Is there a way to store messages in the outbox until I'm ready for them to be sent? Do I need to go offline and then back online to do that? If so, I assume that means that when I'm offline, I can't receive any messages. If there are messages in the outbox and I go online, do they get sent when I hit "get messages?"
