Hi All, I use Get Pocket - a lot! Before the last couple updates the normal bookmark icon - would click on that and there would be a link to Get Pocket list. That has now disappeared. The only way I can find to see the list, is click on the "save to pocket" icon, whereby it then saves the page I am on, although I don't want to save the page, and it also has a link to view the list. So have to click on that, then delete the page just saved. All so ridiculous. I must be missing something here. The update before this, was the same and I reverted back to an older version of Firefox. Thought would try this latest update, but no ... the pocket list link inside the bookmarks icon is not there.

How can I get to view pocket list without having to first save the page I am on, then delete it? What am I missing. I attach three images. One of how I used to use the Get Pocket list .. i.e. using the bookmark icon. Then what the book mark icon shows now .. no pocket list ... and the only way I have found to view the list, but saving a page first :) ..... Thanks for any advice.

The most recent update seems to have changed something I can't figure out how to change back myself.

When I start a search in the Firefox search engine box (the one in the middle of the screen), the text is instead entered in the address bar at the top. The search still performs the same but it is more of an aesthetic preference. Is there an option I am overlooking that enables the search text to appear in the search engine box, rather than in the address bar?

I did try disabling the address bar but that just stopped the search function from working.

The recent update to the Firefox browser on my Mac now defaults to the search bar at the top of the page as I type and provides a stream of unhelpful suggestions. Previously I was able to type in what I was looking for in the Firefox search bar in the middle of the screen unhindered until I had completed the sentence and then press search. I would like to reset it back to that. I have tried to change it via Preferences but it didn't work. Thanks for any help. Trekker.

Before the new Firefox released, I was able to use my search bar on my home page. Now, it shows up in my address bar. I found two different solutions. I tried both and they failed to stop. I don't know who's bright idea it was for this to happen, but I hate it. So, how do I disable it completely?

Here are the two suggestion solutions I found, both are archived now: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1219899 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1284577

The search bar is displayed on the home page. And you can even put a cursor in it. However, as soon as you start typing something, the cursor shuffles into the address bar and the text is entered there!

This is absolutely schizoid behavior! The worst UI is simply impossible to imagine!

YES, I KNOW I CAN USE THE ADDRESS BAR AS A SEARCH BUT I DON'T WANT!

Why didn't you give users any choice? Don't you care about your own users? This is absurdly allogical behavior of the interface! What fool could have thought of such a thing ?!

Besides the fact that it is corny inconvenient, there is another extremely important disadvantage. Users suffering from cataracts put a dark theme for a reason - they otherwise see badly.

So what happens when the user has a dark theme and the start page displays a huge whitelist at the top of the screen as they enter text, what do you think? I can tell you - a user with poor eyesight is blinded for a second.

Guys, when will you start thinking before changing the browser for the worse? Seriously, Firefox has lost its entire user base over the past few years. This is very disappointing.

Prior to updating, when I typed a question from the Firefox homepage in the search box in the middle of the page, my search parameters would appear there where it would be easy to see. Now, every time I type anything in a search box, it jumps to the address bar, causing me to have to shift my line of sight to the top left of my screen rather than the center of the screen. Not to mention the text on the address bar is several orders of magnitude smaller than the test on the web pages search bar. So how to I shut this behavior down? If I click in a search box I expect my text to appear in that search box, NOT in the address bar.

Downloaded the new version, how do I uninstall it? It is garbage. There are big spaces between the tabs and the tool bars, the favourites are so far apart that my menu is 3 pages long, and the themes were designed by a 3 year old girl with a fetish for unicorns. The only people that will use this are uneducated millenial inbreds, who spend the entire day taking selfies and looking in a mirror. It makes windows 10 look professional!! How do I roll it back? I suppose there is always google spyware - chrome as they call it.

Hey guys, just wondering if there's a toolbar workflow similar to Chrome and Edge where we can jump between profiles. I believe there is `about:profiles` though that requires a bookmark and a few additional clicks to jump between profiles.

Perhaps the profile icon on the toolbar can have an item that shows all available profiles?
