I would like to open the 'sent' page on my outlook email by default because it is set to inbox right now. I would like the option to change what folder it is set to. Thank you.

When I try to send an e-mail from norman@rosleythorns.uk I get the message below. I have two other accounts and sending from them (norman.r and norman.ryding) is not a problem. I receive at all three addresses. I can find no reason for this.

In the main window of the application, in my opinion, an excessively large window appears (approx. 40% of the application area!!!) asking for support (donation). Does a one-time payment (donation) eliminate this window once and for all? I am thinking of abandoning this application, the size is too distracting, too irritating

My first email was Hotmail n 1995.

Microsoft bought it a long while ago and made it a domain under their Outlook.

Now they are preventing any other app from downloading folders or emails from it, so I need to keep the emails that successfully made it into Tbird folders BUT avoid Tbird from ever trying to connect with it ever again (it hangs the whole app). They want users to be fully captured by their apps, and thereby to receive all fees and subscriptions, but they are careless and manipulative — arbitrarily blocking paid subscriptions, replacing preferred news source with their own, etc. — so I'm not going to sign up for anything not absolutely necessary (i.e. — for now — Word).

I am seeking guidance as to how to create just that situation. I did it 7..5 years ago when I retired, since the college where I taught immediately closed my email account there, but I can not figure out how to do it now.

So I want a different menu from the default top line menu. I can get the line for my input to appear. I can move the icons I want into position. But I CANNOT get the system to accept that. There is no no button "accept as create". It all disappears when I do anything.

Is there any way to sort or change the order of Calendars? I had to re-add Google Calendars and they’re in an even stupider order than last time.

Is the only way to add them one by one?

For mails I receive 'today' I found the following setting for the inbox list: mail.ui.display.dateformat.today (now is 2)

This displays the date in the list (after restart of TB). Nice. When I open the e-mail, still only the time is shown.

How to show always time AND date also in opened mails?

None of the topics in the drop down I was given are relevant to my question, which is about the Calendar in Thunderbird 115.12.2, on Windows 10.

When I edit an event or create a new one in the Calendar, the height of the Description window is ridiculously small, as shown in the attached screen capture. It only displays a couple of lines of text whereas my descriptions are usually far longer than that. So I always have to resize the window and TB doesn't "remember" my preferred window height, so I have to resize it every single time I create or edit an event.

Is there any workaround for this, to set the default height of the Edit Event window to a larger height than Thunderbird's default?

How do I get edvi-89 to work as the Thunderbird start page? It is the startup I have been looking for. I just can't get it to work. Is there a similar one available that works? I suggest Edvin-89 be made an add-on.

Mozilla foxfire has been my go to web browser for many years but recent problems that have developed with printing from the web browser is forcing me to go to another browser.

As you will notice from the screen print when printing the browser creates open space to the bottom from the first two lines. that is no matter what is being printed.
