Hi,

Since my Firefox updated today (v132.0), sometimes when I swap tabs I get this grey bar appear for a split second at the bottom of the tab. This isn't super consistent, and seems to only happen when swapping from the New Tab page to some websites, such as Twitter and my email, but not others. I've tried disabling extensions to no avail.

Any ideas on the cause of this/how to fix?

For the past two weeks, I have been unable to get to many usual web sites. Just now, it does not connect to my bank, although it did earlier. I cannot get my morning newspaper because it doesn't connect. My work flow is disruptive because I cannot access my usual websites in a timely manner. A few weeks ago, this never happened. What is wrong?

Every time I play my favorite game, it is choppy at the most inconvenient times.

What can I do to improve the smoothness of my game play?

Mind you, its only Tetris, so the gpu's needed are not that complex.

I often wake up my machine and immediately click "get messages" to see what's new. Often when I do this my request is blocked because the trash or some other folder is being compacted. This is annoying.

Why must tbird choose to compact just when I am trying to do something? Couldn't it do compaction and other such housekeeping in the background, when it would otherwise be idle?

Once I get a link I want to read, which is imbedded in the Thunderbird emails, I ALWAYS get the :gah your tab crashed". What do I do to correct this. I have been able to fix 2 problems today so far but no luck on this. Technicians worked on my computers so, you know they clicked something. Thanks normthompson@sprintmail.com aka Leauxbeaux

How do you set up two separate bookmark files? I want to be able to use separate bookmark files for two different people using the same PC and be able to switch between them depending who is using the PC.

Hello Mozilla Family and Forum Members. It uses a long amount of Mozilla developer edition and it does not show the distance between two divs. How can I turn this on?

Need access to Motley Fool site to appear completely on screen instead of having a partial screen showing some Motley Fool signs but not being able to utilize normal activity. Had no trouble for many months of subscription getting access to the site and being able to read any articles I want. I have contacted Motley Fool several times and we have tried many things to solve problem but had no problem solving results.

As stated in the subject line. I go to open an email and it goes dime and I get a hourglass. All I can do is shut down the program. After a while I can reopen it but it happens again and again. I deleted the program and reinstalled it with no improvement.

It just did it while I had the troubleshooting tab open

how should I proceed?

As the subject states: Since installing Thunderbird - 128.3.1esr (64-bit) - the app constantly crashes when running but not actively in use on Win11 Pro 23H222631.4317. Crashes do NOT appear to happen when using the app, tho it has crashed when removing duplicates from "local folders" top level, or conduction a "compress". Quite a few of my crash reports have been submitted.

Any ideas as to why?

Personal emails exhibit no problem. When I send emails to corporations via Thunderbird they do not now receive them. If I re-send them via Gmail, they do. Seems to me there must be some new elements added to Thunderbird that triggers corporate system screening rejection.

Been a long time Thunderbird user. This situation has just recently developed.

Is there a fix on my end?

Why doesn't Zip Recruiter or other websites work on FireFox? They seem to be blocked for no reason? I've emailed before with no answer, I would really appreciate some help. I've always been happy with FireFox until recently when websites have stopped working with your browser. If I don't hear back I will probably end up deleting your browser and resorting to Chrome or Edge.

Please help!

I subscribe to Shutterstock, but though the image selection is excellent, I'm having problems finding the option to save or save as, so I can't successfully download them and insert them in the text of my post. What's the fix for this?

This only just started happening: when I click out of Firefox to use a different application, and then click back to Firefox, there is lag time before Firefox becomes usable again. I have done a search on this and I tried the first suggestion: open Firefox in Safety mode to see if the problem is one of my add-ons. That appears NOT to be the problem. Are there any other solutions to this issue? I'm on a Macbook Pro using OS 15.0.1 . Firefox is: version 131.0.3 (aarch64).

Appreciate any help you can give. Firefox is still usable, but this lag time is really annoying.

Hello, In Thunderbird... Since a recent update (perhaps within the past month), when I delete an email, it takes some time and goes to "not responding" briefly while it waits. This also sometimes seems to happen when sending. But it does NOT happen when receiving messages, so I am doubtful that it is anti-virus related (using only Windows Defender, no 3rd party anti-spam or anti-virus.)

This never happened before the update. Currently using 128.4.1esr (32-bit), but that update was just this morning and it was happening prior to that.

Any thoughts?
