The address books have disappeared completely from an email account at my company. Were there yesterday, not there today. How do we get them to come back?

This has happened to multiple users at our company and the address books always seem to reappear after a period of time. We would prefer not to just wait and see but to actively retrieve them as it creates a lot of work to have to look up and then input every time someone is sending an email. Thank you.

For printing: Is it possible to organize the address book in columns to save space in printed page? Otherwise the right half of the page remains empty.

My Yahoo web-mail has one huge folder (70k messages!) and several others with thousands of messages each. I just installed Thunderbird and am at the stage of initial syncing. Of course I expect it to take forever. It seems to be moving along, though a message on the bottom line that said "FolderName Downloading message header 3857051859 of 10316..." was amusing. But as I said it is running, and time is not of the essence.

My question is, will the BODY of EVERY message get downloaded eventually? From what I can tell it is configured to sync everything.

Thanks for helping out a Thunderbird newbie.

I have read various posts similar to this but have not anywhere found the answer so sorry for any repetition.... We have three people using our email. Even when I change the identities so the name reflects who is sending the email it defaults to showing the sender as Person A, even though the signature part at the bottom of the email is personalised. I think this is due to being set up using gmail (before my time). How on earth do I get around this now? Will any changes result in the loss of our archived emails/inbox/folders etc? Would really appreciate any replies please because this is driving me crazy trying to work it out!
