How to parse "modifytimestamp" in Address Book Contacts?

I need to be able to extract Contacts from my Thunderbird Address Book based on the date/time they were last updated. I could easily write a program which will search a Thunderbird Exported .ldif file and select Contacts which were updated since a given date/time, but my problem is that I can't figure out how to parse Thunderbird's "modifytimestamp" field. As the example below shows, I updated a Contact (by typing raw unformatted text data into the Notes field in the Properties dialog) on 6/19/16 at 09:39:15... the nature of my update, in fact, was to type this date and time as unformatted text into the Notes field of the Contact, in order to test modifytimestamp. The resultant modifytimestamp was 1466354355. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to derive the actual date/time from that modifytimestamp. I did a few others and I can't figure out the "rule" that Thunderbird is using to construct the modifytimestamp from the actual date and time.

Another approach (which might be much easier for me) would be to find and parse modifytimestamp (or its equivalent) in an exported .csv file, but when exporting to .csv it seems that neither "modifytimestamp" nor a decoded version of it is included as a column in the .csv file. And even if it were, I would still have the same parsing challenge if it was just the actual modifytimestamp.

Right clicking a group in the contacts side bar does not offer the 'Load group into side bar' option.

I use this option to deselect some addresses in the group. When Thunderbird updated, this option went away. I have tried uninstalling, and reinstalling various versions of Thunderbird to no avail. 24.6, 24.7, 31.3 I believe version 38.2 is the one it updated to when the option went away. Not having this option causes me to do lots of extra work. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

A lot of times I need to copy a Address book contact field value. Since I keep the contact pane open I can see the contact field value and want to just copy it to the clipboard. See screen capture. Is there a way to permit values in the contact pane to get highlighted and copied to the clipboard? I know I can double click the Directory pane and open the contact then navigate to tab that has the value I want to copy the clip board. But why do I have to do all that when the value is already on the screen?

I have updated one or more contact addresses in the Address entries. Upon closing and opening again Thunderbird (45.6.0 and earlier versions), the old information comes back in the entries that were updated as well as any entries that were deleted again are in the Address list. I created another section and updated it with all the contacts I wanted. I then exported all entries to save what I had done. I then closed and then opened Thunderbird. Again the original set does not show any changes or that any entries were deleted, however the new section has all the correct entries and information.

Can anyone explain why this happens and how to correct the problem?

Please help me. I've spent all day trying to connect Thunderbird to Gmail. I've followed the advice on here (disable two-step verification, enable apps with less security), I've uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird, I've even changed my Gmail password but none of it works. I've got Thunderbird on my other computer and it works fine. The server settings I am using on both computers are the same. Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong before I give up completely? Please use very simple language as I'm not an IT expert. Many thanks

I disconnected my antivirus (Norton) and tried again, with no luck. Thunderbird says that I have 10 messages and tries to download, but then hangs up and quits. This happened all of a sudden with no seeming cause.

I am worried that my recipients will receive my misaligned emails and that it will be difficult for them to read them. For now I have resorted to typing out my e-mails in word and then attaching that document to my the email I want to send. This is time consuming for both me and the recipient. Surely there is a better way?
