I would like to browse the archive of articles that appear with a fresh set every day on the Firefox home screen. Is the archive available? If not, can Firefox make it available for all the users? I am sure that I am not the only one interested in browsing the archive of articles and reading those that interest them.

EVERY SINGLE TIME FIREFOX UPDATES THEY OPEN A NEW TAB AND ADVERTISE FEATURES AND GARBAGE I DO NOT CARE ABOUT.

DESPITE EVERY SETTING IMAGINABLE, IT STILL DOES IT. EVERY TIME.

WHY? WHY DO YOU NOT RESPECT YOUR USER'S REQUESTS AND CONTINUE TO DO THIS?

WE ALL REMEMBER THE TIME YOU SHOVED ADVERTISEMENTS INTO IT.

I"D RATHER PAY FOR FIREFOX THAN HAVE THIS RIDICULOUS GARBAGE HAPPEN EVERY TIME YOU UPDATE THE APPLICATION.

MAKE A SETTING FOR THIS OR SOMETHING THAT YOU WON'T JUST IGNORE OR OVERRIDE THE NEXT TIME YOU WANT TO SPAM YOUR ENTIRE USER BASE

One of the things I like most about Firefox is the home page with 'tiles' for my most used websites. Since the last upgrade some of my tiles have the website logos but most do not. Is there a way I can fix this?

hello - since yesterday, the links on the startpage don't show anymore, even though they were perfectly fine the day before yesterday, when I shut down the laptop.

i can't find where I could change anything, since in the settings, the 4 lines are still activated, nothing has changed except they're suddenly not showing anymore.... ?

what can I do???

I did try to search through the articles, didn't see anything that could help me.

I would even save them and open a new profile if there's no way to fix it, if only I could find where those links on the startpage are stored...

How can I stop my tablet from opening a new tab every time I switch to Firefox? It’s the worst when I’m trying to get information quickly into another app. I’ve looked through all of the settings and it’s not there. I’ve tried typing about:config and it does nothing except show the new tab window.

Someone please help. I’ve seen an answer from a question about a decade ago but things have changed now and there is no “options” if that’s the next suggestion. All I see is Settings now, and no options to change this in there either. This should be obvious right?

All of the settings I had setup for my "new tab" page have disappeared, having been reset to some default Firefox page. How can I recover these shortcuts without having to recreate everything from scratch? Even my background has been updated without my consent.

I have lost all the short cuts on my home page. As I use these very frequently, this is a big problem for me. I know this problem has been raised previously, but none of the solutions work for me.

I have checked the short cuts still exist in about:config...newtabs.pinned. They are still there. I've refreshed Firefox. I've loaded the latest version I've toggled the number of lines of short cuts in 'customise' I've enabled sponsored short cuts I can get recent activity slots, and curated stories. I do not want to set up a completely new profile as I have an extensive list of bookmarks.

Is there anything else I can do?

I am using Firefox Browser 145.0 and CCleaner Free version 7.1.1042.0. Either CCleaner wiped out the 4 rows of saved shortcuts, or, I have a unwanted Checked or unchecked Firefox setting. The home Firefox page is black, with no tiles showing, no way to add tiles as far as I can tell

I use Firefox and I like Firefox and I appreciate what you do there & at Mozilla. But one thing really irks me!

On the homepage, the icons for the various sites I frequently visit are displayed. They change from time to time, depending on how often I sign into my favorite sites.

But I get the sense this system is being manipulated in a way that doesn't serve the interest of your customers/users. Besides my email account, there is one site I go to more often than any other: the Genealogy website "Myheritage.com." Yes as often as I visit this website, its icon is never added to the display of my frequently used sites.

For some years I frequented the site Ancestry.com. But I stopped using them because Myheritage is better for my purposes (exploring Eastern Europe genealogy). Ancestry was removed from my most frequent list, but Myheritage has never been added.

On my home page there used to a dozen or so boxes with the web sites I most frequently use that I could click on. It would open a new tab and go to that site. They had the logo of the site. They aren't there anymore. Can I get them back? If so, how?

Prior ti the most recent update, an initial tab always connected to a frequently accessed page, which in my case is a news site. The update has now lost that behavior. Is there a flag that I can set that will restore that behavior? Also I have Firefox as a startup app but it has again working. I have it as a startup app in Win 10 and is settings, is there anywhere else that i could be flagging as a startup app?

How do I go about adding a section on the home page like "Genealogy" with various articles and events on it. Or even say, "Hobbies" where I can find latest articles or apps on various hobbies I enjoy?

Om my prior system, when I opened a new tab, Firefox would show me the most frequently used sites. I am now on a Windows 11 machine and want that same feature. It used to show 3 rows of 6 sites that I could click on which saves me looking at my Bookmarks

Hi community The option to set, how many rows of shortcuts should be visible on the Firefox start screen, is a good idea. E.g. I set 3 rows and fill them with relevant shortcuts. The shortcuts in the bottom row always changes when I visit several websites. My understanding is: Setting the shortcuts as necessary and that's it! Wtf happens, that the last row changes all the time, that makes me fussy. regards wolf
