Why do I not have any control over which news outlets are on my home page. Every article is from Fox News and I am not interested in anything that News outlet is putting out. I am a Democrat and the page all of the sudden the past few months have almost all been from Fox News which is obviously a Republican and Donald Trump loving News outlet. So I am wondering why do I not have the option like in the past where I could choose which news outlets I would like to read from? It's kind of creepy to me that I would be sent almost every article from Fox News. Is there any way to change it? I know it might sound like I'm a nut but I promise I'm not, I'm just surprised by this whole situation. Thanks.

The pdf displays like trash, with letters all crammed together and overlapping (crappy kerning!).

I am on the latest Android firefox as of today (4/27/23).

Around 3 years ago, I made a request to bring back Firefoxs amazing image toggling feature to allow users to toggle on and off images while browsing the web.

Some may think the only purpose of this feature is to save data and that is a good reason. But it has other uses as well. The internet can be triggering, it can be overstimulating. A power user can take control of that, and honestly, after my thread from 3 years ago was closed, the last word was, "Due to your request, The Team has decided to add this permissions (images, web fonts, javascript) somewhere around the end of this year."

But 3 years later, here we are. Still no Images selection in the Permissions menu.

I'm back asking for it again. I'm tired of using Opera mobile as the only mobile browser that has this feature. I want to come back to Firefox. And if someone won't do it, please point me in the direction for how I myself can alter this open source software so that I can add this old feature back.

Hello everyone, there is a feature that Samsung internet uses (and for the most part almost every app on iOS) called "back to top". With the introduction of add-ons I was hoping you could allow us to download an add-on that has similar functionality or Firefox could introduce this feature natively.

I find this feature quite important since you could be knee deep into an article, novel or webtoon and have the need to back to the top of the page (which can be as easy as pressing the home key on PC).

Hopefully there is a solution to this, I didn't think I'd miss it swapping from a browser that has it but I really do.

I have a 8" Android 10 tablet with FF Focus as a default browser. Half the width of screen is taken by four buttons (back, forward, reload and trash). On the phone I only have one (trash). I'd like to have similarly simple view on the tablet with only one button in front of address bar instead of four, since on a small tablet this creates clutter (often I can't see even a short address, only a domain name fits). Is it possible to achieve?

Sometimes I want to close tabs to free up memory but I don't want to close the tab I'm currently using so I have to close all other tabs manually which is tedious.

Perhaps tapping and holding could bring up a menu that says "Close all other tabs" and/or "Close tabs before/after" like on desktop.

Why am I not getting random user agent in this version of Firefox. I have checked frothe adds-on and is not included in the list. Or can you give me the version of Firefox that it is included. Thanks

Cannot manage old address like you can with cards, yet many old addresses show up when updating addresses on websites that I use. Would like the ability to "manage" addresses similar to managing cards.

I added a search engine. I had the right %s URL string. When I added it, Firefox Focus said "make sure you replace the search string with %s". That made me think it was checking the URL, so I added https:// in front, BUT I accidentally removed the first letter of the URL. It let me add it, but then searches didn't work. It letting me use the typo implies it doesn't check the URL.

A novice user may not realize that the error really means "add https://" not the catch-all "check your %s". Not sure where to report bugs, so I'm adding it here.

The workflow to fix my typo could also be improved upon. It's dark-pattern adjacent to have to go in to search settings, change the default to another engine (assuming there is one), get kicked back to main settings, then have to go back to search engines, remove the one you added, then add it again. Could be fixed by having Focus actually try the URL when adding one. I think adding offline would be a very infrequent use case, but you could make it prompt "Hey, I can't load this URL are you sure you want to add it?"

I've used Tor Browser (Firefox kernel), and the "add-ons" in that browser say "add-ons may damage the browser". Does Firefox have any safety measures for add-ons (such as running them in quarantine so that they don't damage the browser itself or other add-ons).

Recent update introduced the possibility to view PDF directly in-browser, no need to download them. Unfortunately the "font viewing" is nice only when you just leave the font size setting to 100%. If you either set going size to e.g. 130% or set to adapt the font size to Android setting in Firefox setting, you get a very bad PDF viewing, with mangled fonts and character overlapped each other

When I go to save a bookmark, the “done” or “save” button is missing. I can’t get bookmarks to save because I can’t complete the selection process. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this?

I hope there will be an update in which we get bookmarks on the top for ipad. just like on pc. it's definitely possible cause there is enough screen real estate. or make two bars or 3 on ios. I hope this is a feature that will be picked up and implemented one day. I fully switched to Firefox. Cause now it connects every search result to desktop. Also I like that it isn't chromium based
