For the past several days, I can no longer access my two hotmail.com email pages. I keep getting the message to "check back later." I tried using Edge, and it worked there. Then I tried using DuckDuckGo and Brave, and hotmail worked on both. So, this problem only exists when using FireFox which is the site I use by default.
When I click on my Firefox Icon, I get MS Edge. How do I get Firefox back ?

I don't think I chose the right topic, but here goes. With every Firefox update, my bookmarks and everything always seemed to merge into the new update. My computer rebooted with updates today, and I get into Firefox to find that NONE of my bookmarks made it this time.
Everything is empty, and I don't have a backup anywhere because I didn't expect this. Yes, I know - always back up everything but honestly, I haven't had time.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Are my bookmarks hidden somewhere?
I have a lot of stuff for research for writing stored in my bookmarks, and I can't lose them.

I cannot find a solution and it doesn't happen every time on the site but several times a week. I have VPN, and enhanced tracking which I've tried turning them off but I get the same reply. I'd like a fairly simple answer if possible since I'm not tech smart but need help to see if I'm doing something wrong.
