Since a few days, even though I have eliminated the accesses in new tab with ignore, when I start Firefox again they are back on the new tab page.

How do I proceed to eliminate them?

Hello Mozilla, I have a Lenovo G700 laptop with the WINDOWS 7 Pro operating system My browser is Firefox 115.19.0 (see file Firefox.jpg) During the security check in online banking I am told that the browser is out of date (see firefox2.jpg) But I can only update the version and it says "Firefox is up to date" What's wrong with that?

Some months ago, I unfortunately typed a password in the username field of a local page (access to my Internet box, oh Noes).

Since then, it appears each time I remove the access data in the Firefox settings. When entering data again for a login without password enquiry, the password becomes invisible again, and vice-versa.

It is impossible to show the phenomenon using a screenshot, as the password immediately disappears.

Why some Wikipedia pages cannot activate reading mode under Debian 12 and Firefox ESR 115.9.1, for example this English Wikipedia page on Emmabuntüs does not allow reading mode to be activated while French, Spanish and German pages can ?

Is there a utility to test pages compatible with reading mode?

Or otherwise in which Firefox log file to see if a page is compatible or not?

It is annoying that search executes immediately instead of triggering on enter keypress, especially when a web page is big. Is there any way to disable auto-search and trigger it only when you press enter?

I'm still running Firefox under Windows 7. I've now connected a new monitor with a resolution of 2660 x 1080 using an HDMI cable (previously DVI), and since then I've had major problems setting up websites. the websites are only partially built and I have to reload several times. Can you help me?

I want to visit http://bispebjerghospital.dk/ . I have seen on https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/www.bispebjerghospital.dk that it's DNS isn't propagating correctly, so I turned on "MAX PROTECTION" for DNS, hoping that it would let me see the site.

But Firefox showed me "Unexpected error" the first time I went to the site. And then I clicked 'always allow' and now it just spins and spins with no response visible.

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. I have the following problem: Windows 7 crashed after coming back from standby. When I restarted Firefox it restored a 3-month-old session. The sessionstore.jsonlz4 file was missing in the profile folder. I searched for a backup in the sessionstore-backups folder; unfortunately all were too old. Windows Restore was not running on my computer.

Using EaseUS Data Recovery I found a recovery.baklz4 file from 10 days ago, tried renaming it etc. but Firefox won't use it for recovering. It is probably corrupt ...

I used https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html but I get an error saying: Session history file contents could not be read?

Is there any way to repair the file or extract the URLs to use them manually?

When using Chrome Dev Tools, I can block a request, and when I open or close Dev Tools, the request is still in the "Network request blocking" tab. It means it keeps a history of networks which I blocked.

With Firefox, as soon as I close my Dev Tools, my blocked requests are gone. Every time I open my Dev Tools in Firefox, I need to search through my notes to remember which requests I need to block, instead of being able to simply select a request from a list of previously blocked requests like in Chrome.

I did an Upgrade to a version of Firefox that would bypass those "Your Browser Is Not Supported" messages that apparently come from "Cloud-flare." I figured [naievely!] that my addons would "port" to the upgrade. They didn't. Is there any way [e.g., a putative backup file, perhaps] that would allow this?

When the little yellow man is placed on to the map, and a direction arrow is clicked, the view just continues to spin round. Clicking on the 'X' in the top right hand corner terminates street view. This does not happen with other browsers.

My OS is Debian 12, Firefox is the latest version 115.9.1esr (64bit).

Linux-ESR versions 115.8 and 115.9 are constantly crashing in my Acer CB514-2H chromebook. Previous versions of Linux-ESR have worked without any problems. It does work in "safe mode", but not in normal mode with all extensions and plugins disabled. Appears to be related to something that is also disabled in the "safe mode" besides extensions and plugins.

This computer is running a MediaTek Kompanio 828 processor, 8 GB RAM and 64 GB eMMC.

I appreciate any help and advice that you can give me. If I can provide any info, let me know.
