I am wondering if there is a way to get a menu of bookmarks to show up in the context menu when you right-click within a webpage in Firefox.

Chrome has this extension, (and others that are similar) : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/context-bookmarks/ednnkpljcbpjcoplcooifiblghkephlh?hl=en

and I am wondering if there is a native way to achieve the same thing in Firefox? And if not, perhaps an extension? I've searched for extensions like this but haven't found any.

Xfinity Support directed me here, since I can connect to email with MS Edge on same desktop (Windows10) and laptop(Windows11) and via mail apps on smartphones/tablets. Hadn't experienced before today, 5/19/2023.

My bookmarks are in the list, but URLs which are not bookmarked are also in the list. (I say some of the entries are not bookmarks because there is no blue star if I double click on them.)

My companies website is www.aoneengraving.com. You have been able to open it on Fire Fox for years. After Network Solutions , my provider reissued my SSL certificate you can not open it on Fire Fox. You can open it on any other browser. This is the message you get

Network Solutions has spent days trying to figure it out and they can not. They gave up and told me I should contact you.

LastPass logs out every time I close the FIrefox desktop browser. This started about a month ago after a Firefox update. This is a real pain, since I open and close my browser all day long. I have tried several suggestions on this forum and nothing has worked so far.

I am trying to understand if there is a way to customize the tab rearranging behaviour.

In particular, the thing I find very unpractical is that, after a tab is closed, the others do rearrange, but after the mouse goes out of the tab bar. This is particularly annoying when I have to close multiple tabs, since thanks to this behaviour, the tabs which I close after the first one are always the unintended ones.

The solution would be to let the tab rearrangement happen instantly after the closure of the tab. In my opinion even without animations, I do not really care about that.

If you have any suggestions let me know.

I just noticed that Windows Firefox version 113 changes how this userchrome border is rendered.

On my accidental airgapped machine running 112 the border is properly rendered as 1px. But on all my machines running 113 it's being rendered as 0.566667 which is rounded down to 0. I also noticed that my separators between the tabs seem to be thinner.

Before I try to counter it by setting my css to use 2px which is interpreted as 1.7 and rounded down to 1, can you please tell me WHAT is going on? Thanks.

P.S. My userchrome.css include much more than this, hence why it looks strange on a default profile, but the effects are still visible.

I have a Firefox account and I want to recover my bookmarks and passwords. My Windows 10 PC didn't boot up so I had to do a factory reset. After the reset, I logged into Firefox and tried using the Import and Backup tool. There was only one recovery date so I chose that. I clicked on the date and was prompted "This will replace all of your current bookmarks with the backup. Are you sure?" I click OK and nothing happens. I didn't see my bookmarks and rebooted my computer.

It sounds like this might be two different issues: Bookmarks and Passwords.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

When I click on 'gmail' it opens in a tech support email search history instead of inbox. I have gone to settings and tried to do something but I don't understand the options.

When I use CTRL+V or even right-click to paste any text, Firefox crashes and displays an error. My Firefox version is the latest, 113.0.1. I tried entering safe mode and disabling all plugins, but the error still occurs. I also tried reinstalling Firefox, but the issue persists. However, other browsers work fine. I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Here is my error report:

Video playing on firefox on my second monitor appears overexposed, as in, lights are extremely light and darks are extremely dark. I am not sure when this issue began.

I know it is not a calibration issue with my monitor because all other content looks as it normally does. I also know it is specifically an issue with firefox and not web video in general because if I open the same videos on chrome they look as expected. This only happens on my second monitor, if I drag the window to my laptop monitor, it looks normal again.

My current setup is an acer Nitro 5 laptop (i5-10300H, RTX 3050 laptop with game-ready drivers) hooked up to a samsung monitor (I belive 32" odyssey g5? I am not sure) through HDMI.

I've updated my graphics drivers, to no avail. I am going to try reverting the latest update on firefox, though I am unsure if it is related at all, I will update the thread if it corrects the issue. I don't really know what else to try if it fails, I appreciate any suggestions.

Other than the problem being firefox dependant, I suppose it could have to do with a firefox-GPU interaction, as my laptop's integrated monitor is driven by the CPU graphics while the external monitor is driven by the GPU. I don't know how to address this or if it's even possible.

I'm an old user of Firefox since the Netscape times. For the last few weeks, Firefox become so slow on all my computers.

I have 2GBps internet connection and

• a fast PC (i9 11900/64GB/NVMe SSD RAID/3080Ti, Win 11 for Workstations, wired Ethernet@2.5GBps)
• a once-it-was-fast notebook (i7 8750H+32GB+NVMe SSD, 1660 GTX, Win 11 Pro, wifi 802.11ax >800MBps)
• and a relatively slow notebook (Ryzen 3 2300 or the like, 4GB, Win 10 x64, wifi 802.11n).
• All of them have the latest op system, drivers, firmware, etc.

A common scenario:

• I try to open a webpage in Firefox, nothing happens;
• I switch to Chrome (or Opera, Edge), open the same page, it opens in 1-2s;
• I switch back to Firefox that is still at the middle of loading the page;

I can play it on all the 3 equipment, the result is the same: Ff is much slower than any other browser on my PCs.

There is one common app that is present on all the machines: my paid-for security package that I won't turn off. If Firefox has any problem with it (that Chrome, Opera and Edge don't have), Ff must go (with my regrets).

I tried to turn off all the plugins but it didn't help. I don't think it's plugin related as Ff is still so slow w/o any plugin enabled.

If you could give me a hint where to look for the cause that would be great.

I am having problems with my Google Gmail. It won't load properly in Firefox (I have no problem in other browsers) and now I can't access YouTube. I'm having to delete my history continually and restart the Firefox. What's going on? I do have the current version of Firefox installed.
